hi sweetie, first thing is *BIG HUGS* Susie spent the first 6 months of her life vomiting after every feed, and we never went to bed before 11pm, had to keep her up for nearly an hour after every feed etc etc. I worked out about 6 weeks me having dairy made it worse so I cut out all dairy except the odd bit of chocolate, which helped, but it turned out thats not all it was. the vomiting decreased once we started her on solids but she was still colicy. Our doctor was of the opinion she would grow out of it by 12 months like his daughter did, and we didn't want to put her on any strong medication. There was no way we were giving up breastfeeding either! She didn't grow out of it though, and at about 16 months a friend from the new church I go to in Melbourne suggested I go see Steven at the Allergy Elimination Clinic in Kew, Melbourne. He's a Naturopath and uses Kinesiology to diagnose and treat food intolerances. I was skeptical but my friend has a couple of kids he really helped so we went! He tested Susie and we discovered she was intolerant of Wheat, Dairy, Eggs and artificial colourings and flavourings. I still don't understand the ins and outs of how it works, but over a few sessions he treated her and she can now eat anything without having a reaction! she sleeps 12 hours at night and shes a much happier child! When baby 2 comes if there's anysigns of problems I'm taking them straight away to see him! I don't know where you are but if you are anywhere near Melbourne I cannot recommend visiting him enough! If you're not near Melbourne it may even be worth contacting them and seeing if they can recommend someone in your area.
Asides from that the other sugegstions people have given are great. And the bad period DOES end...the thing I remember most is not the lack of sleep but how much I got to cuddle Susie during those first 6 months cause she needed to be upright! I hope you find a way to work out something to make her more comfortable!!

Big hugs! Reflux is so tough on everyone!
After a rough trot until 10 weeks, DD was diagnosed with silent reflux by her pediatrician - the gp was useless!! He prescribed Losec and literally overnight we had a different baby - it was unbelievable! At first I crushed the tablets and gave them to DD mixed with water through a syringe. That was annoying and time consuming so we got onto the suspension form (expensive and only available at select pharmacies - only 2 in Perth) and it was so much easier for all of us. DD took to it really well and for memory, we weaned her around 4 months.
I also wore DD in a sling most of the time for day sleeps. She really struggled with day sleeps and the reflux didn't help. We also stopped using our bassinet attachment on our pram at 9 weeks and she was much happier in the normal seat in the pram, albeit a little tiny! LOL!
We also bought a hammock and DD loved that for day sleeps for about 5 weeks - but that was it :( I'm sure our future babies will love it though!
Strangely enough DD was a brilliant night sleeper (sleeping through at 9 weeks!!) but her paed said that was common for silent reflux babies and he had seen it quite a lot in his patients.
Before I forget, I BF DD until she was 2 weeks shy of one year ;) One of the girls in my mum's group put her DD on formula early on which only made her DD's reflux so much worse (she was a super spewer!!) and it disappeared literally overnight when she put her on cows milk. Every baby is different.
I think the Losec was our life saver though. We couldn't believe the difference and how quickly it worked.
Good luck, it's tough
