Hey, thanks you two! Its been a great day. I'm all set for whatever he has in store for tonight.
Thought it had been a while since I updated little Al's sleeping situation.
Al has been one to drop off to sleep without a drama, but a bit of a 'wakeful sleeper', he'd wake at least twice a night and need a pat or cuddle to get back to sleep. DH and I agreed earlier on that we didn't want to go down the path of controlled screaming, so we have been patiently keeping up the nighttime vigil of settling him.
Al is 18 months old and I am happy to report that he is sleeping through. He falls asleep at 8pm and wakes at 6.30am, without a sound. OK so its only been for a week! But I think we've had a natural occuring break-through. He also seems very happy within himself at the moment, maybe he realises how clever he is :biggrin:
