We tried these with Jazzy as she was wriggling out of all her other ones, and she still managed to get her arms out of this.

Danni I feel your pain!!! Charlie does the same thing, it's like a game when he comes into light sleep....he grunts & groans & wriggles gets out then screams to be wrapped again. If we've gotten him in good enough to not escape LOL he screams too as he's frustrated. I've used a cot sheet, bought a velcro wrap & so on but he wakes even more if he can't get free. This has lately been resulting in a 12am feed that never used to happen. I thought perhaps its time to stop but have realised it's easier said than done as that's all they know. I just borrowed a growbag from a friend & tried it last night with his arms free, within an hour he had woken himself up - so not ready for that.
But we are all taught to wrap them & then not told how to make the transition from wrapping. I'm starting to think if he could sleep unwrapped he would self settle easier as he wouldn't have a game in the middle of the night & would sleep better.

I just bought a kiddopotamus wrap for the reason I posted above & hate it. The velco is so sticky that at night when he got stuck trying to escape LOL...have a great pic of this on his website, I would have trouble getting it unstuck & up again without taking too long, thus waking him completely. I also found that he's too big for the up to 6kgs one but too small for the next size we bought. Am I doing something wrong??

I just bought a miracle blanket after reading replies on this thread....my son Blake is 3 months and wriggling out of his wraps at night so thought I'd try the blanket.
However, I'm confused. The instructions say not to clothe the baby in anything else other than a nappy. Perth at night atm is freezing so I'm leaning towards dressing him as I would normally do when wrapping.
I'd appreciate comments from others who have this blanket and how they clothe their baby.
