was supossed to be 8 weeks now. they could not detect anything, they checked ovaries as well for etopic, but nothing. the ultrasonographer checked when they did my last hcg level and she said that it was 317 on the 16/2, she also said I may be only 4 weeks now!! took another hcg blood test today as I really have to know one way or the other. I have an appointment with my specialist next wednesday

Ohh Tania, I couldn't imagine how dissapointed you must be :hugs: . Lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best!!! Let us know how you go with the BT.

spoke to a doctor this morning, hcg has climbed to 7187, he said something in there is growing!! He said everyone progresses differently.

That's wonderfull, Glad to hear it!!!!!!!! Good on them for scaring you like that :smt062 but at least everything is okay.

Best wishes for the next 7 or 8 months (did you find out exactly how far you were)?

I asked the doctor at the time and he said as I have irregular periods, the hcg level is not a way to determine age. Ultra sound is the only way. I'll just wait to see what doc says on wednesday.

Seen doctor, he took me straight to the ultrasound dept at the hospital and scaned again, because the HCG was high he had to determine in this scan where the embryo was, as he said to me that it was a "matter of life and death" if it was etopic it could have erupted and could have killed me!
But thank god the found and measured a 6 week gestational sac and as my periods as not normal, the dates work out. \:D/
