levels are at 20hcg but he can't tell me if its a real pg or if it's a chemical. I have to go back on Thursday and repeat the B/T.....i told him i want to know before friday!!!!!

20 is still good for 2 days before af if they double every 48 hours which si the average they will be around higher and a def preg at next test.
they class under 25 not def its a lab thing dont worry.

Oh what a pain, but don't stress a faint pos is a very good sign. How early did you test? My doc thought something was up when she did bloods for something else....so I went home & did a test. Very faint pos, then another (LOL) again very faint. Had more bloods & the levels were up but not conclusive..........so I had another test & whilst waiting to find out took a few more HPT & they all came up stronger & stronger. I was only a few days before AF was due when first test wasn't conclusive, next one was spot on. I'm sure it will be all good....goodluck.

Go out and buy confirm, with the digital screen on it. it'll SAY pregnant OR not pregnant. I think they're about $17

Oh no - you poor thing !
Anything over 5 is a pregnancy - but yes they need to rule out other things too.
Buuuut...you are so early yet - it must be all good - just so early. :D
Good luck and i dont blame you for being a POAS addict or for wanting to know by Friday.

I think it is safe to say you are pregnant. My FS told me a HCG reading of above 5 is classed as a pregnancy and considering your AF isn't due yet would explain why it is low. Have it repeated and I am sure it is doubling accordingly.

I would be POAS all the time to....... Have you used the Discover One Step? They came up really dark for me :)

Yep they are, I think they are very similar :) I guess my positives came up stronger on the DOS for some reason!

I think its safe to say you're pg! But I guess just hearing the words from a doctor will make it concret ;)

Hun I'm so happy for you.... i'm sure it's a positive!!! When I fell PG with DD I went to the Dr & told him I got a positive on some HPT's, he said"congratulations" We all sat there in silence for a few seconds while I waited for him to tell me all the tests I'll be needing to confirm it. After there wasthe silence he looked at XH & I & said "oh, is this a good thing or a bad thing?" I smiled & said "Good, but dont we need a BT?" He said if I got a positive HPT then I'm pregnant, no need for any tests. So I say you're pregnant :)

i'm sure its a pos. but i really want to have it confirmed i don't think i quite believe it myself even though i've seen that faint faint line.

A line is a line in my book!!!! I am thinking Its only so faint at the moment beacase it is before AF is due.
