Implantation???

Hey, I haven't been pregnant so I have no advice. Just wanted to say good luck!! I hope it's a :bfp:for you!!

I hope it was an implantation bleed. I've never had one though with any of my pregnancies.

I've never had an implantation bleed either, but it sounds like you have a history of it so good luck! You were about 5 or 6 dpo when you had the bleed weren't you? which is around the timeframe it could happen.

I had one with my last pregnancy on 7dpo so I'd say not too early at all. I think between 6-8dpo is about the time to get them.

Thanks ladies. I really hope it is. I stupidly tested yesterday because a friend of mine also had a bleed around the same time as me and got a BFP already. Mine came up BFN, so I spent all day crying. Silly silly me. It's way too early to test but I feel so low now.

^ Aw don't be upset, I did the exact same thing - tested the day after I had the bleed. It was too early of course (when you think about it, an implantation bleed happens when implantation is happening - and you can't get a bfp until that process is complete and HCG production begins). I got a faint bfp about 4 days after the bleed - so wait a bit longer, it was just too early you're not out of the game by any stretch ;)

Well, still no BFP for me. A friend of mine had the EXACT same thing this month and got a BFP by 12dpo.
Due tomorrow and feel like it's coming : (

***TMI Warning!***

If things are going well I should be implanting around now. I just went to the loo and there was a brown blob - like EWCM, very stretchy but also retained its blobby shape if I tried to stretch it on the toilet paper. The brown colour was like the end of a period.

Is this implantation spotting? Or is this something going wrong? What is implantation spotting like in your experience?

Mine (again TMI!) was a brown spot on my knickers - what really gave it away was nothing, nada, zilch all happened again that day.

Feeling like I'm going to have good news on testing day...

I had inplantation spotting and cramping at 7-8 dpo, i honestly thought af was coming super early, i spotted brown/light red for 2 days, had a big temp drop also....then 9dpo my temp went back up and at 10dpo i got my bfp! After my temp went back up I knew i was pregnant and wasnt suprised with the bfp at all. very excited tho LOL Cant wait to hear your bfp announcement!

I have a question about implantation....does it have to be a bleed or can it just be CM?? i have been pretty dry for a few days, but today i have a big 'blob' of sticky CM that is a pale yellow/green color. I've never had this before so it's worrying me a little. By one chart i am 3DPO but by another i am 6 DPO (which is confusing enough lol).

Not everyone bleeds with implantation and increased CM can be a sign of pregnancy. I have also heard of some ladies having green CM when pregnant.
Fingers crossed that you get that much wanted BFP!

How many days after fertilisation does the egg implant? I think I ovulated mon/tues, so would today be too early to implant? and do you get slight pains with it? clutching at straws but had slight pains this am.:lol:

I believe its around 4-5 days...so good luck!!

Usually it 6-12 days after O but can be as early as 4 days. Most people never feel implantation.

Does everyone have an implantation bleed or is this symptom as hit and miss as the rest??

Ok I went and had a pap smear done today and I'm on DPO8 and when the doctor started he said that there was a bit of blood, when I got home I went to the toilet and there was only a really small amount of brown blood in some CM, so what I was wondering was:

1. Could this be implantion bleed?

2. What colour and how long does it usually last?

3. What day does implantion usually occur?

I promised myself I would stress the small stuff, but here I am :lol:, thanks.

Could be - I had one with DS where I had a tiny bit of reddish brown spotting on 7dpo and then again early in the morning on 8dpo. Never saw it again after that. 7-8dpo is apparently the most common time to see implantation spotting.

I can see that some of the women here have experienced an implantation bleed and my question is to those ladies....

Is there any pain (or AF like cramps) associated with implantation bleeds?

The reason for this is because on CD 25 (saturday) I started spotting :spotting:, but this is not something that is unusual for me. I usually have a 29 day cycle and have never ever in my life gotten my AF early.

This spotting is much lighter than my normal AF, and early to boot!:rolleyes: But there is some slight AF like cramping. Nothing painfull, just more of a heavy feeling. I would appreciate any comments/ advise.

PL, sounds very similar to what I had. I had light cramping and a brown stained CM for a few days. A def heavy feeling which I put down to AF coming early. But nope, was implantation. Goodluck hon

I didn't think AF was due until Saturday but yesterday and today I've had some brown spotting.

For me today is day 22 and i have not had spotting but have had cramping pains and heaviness feeling since day 19. so maybe might be good for all of us

Pinklily - I had an implantation dip, implantation spotting and the pain to go with it. That was my last cycle and I was pg but bubba didn't stick around this time. The pain was a little worse than af cramping and lasted for about two days.

I had kind of brown stained CM like Katkins too for a day or so. Not much cramping just a little twinge here and there.

If you do normally get spotting before AF I wouldn't read anything into it. When I've been pregnant I got no spotting before AF was due at all and I always get spotting for a few days before AF when I'm not pregnant.

I normally spot for a week before AF (endo related) but this time I have not spotted at all so I don't think I got an implantation bleed...I did however still have mild cramping/bloating.

I think that I have implantation bleeding as well only as I am not due until this Sunday (3 days).
Had the feeling that AF was coming so I put on a pad just in case and have changed it 3 times today, didn't need to though, just did so i could keept track of how much is there every few hours. I wouldn't have filled a small reg pad at all throughtout the whoile day.

I started to get a brown, mushy discharge as well, I am mainly bleeding (dropping) blood when I need to go to the toilet, which is still very frequent.

I hope this is the implantation happening.

Fingers crossed for all other girls in the waiting process as well.
