yeah, that does make sense, as both my boys were conceived pretty much on the day of ovulating! I'm still kinda waiting for my cycle to get back to normal, but the last two have been better, I seem to be ovulating on the same day each time (day 14, which is a friday, lucky for my hubby!). I guess we'll just have to try on day 10? or something like that?
That would be very tricky so good luck, I am doing O+12 so 12 hours after ovulation and making sure your DH sperm is acidic and you have an acidic inviroment cause thats what the girl sperm like apparently. there is alot of info on the net about it.
At the end of the day its all up to luck I suppose but this is what we are trying as this will be our last baby aswell.
Hmm... I hadn't heard of the 12 hour thing. One tng I do know for sure is when I have ovulated. I get full on pressure, cramps, and um... Increased desire. :p so that would actually be easy for us! Provided 12 hours isn't at 3am or something. :) thanks for the info!
Forgot to add they think the male should not ejaculate for at least a week before!! Very hard for them but worth it if it's going to get a pink bundle
I thought the whole week abstinace thing was for the blue bundle? Dh and I have an active sex life and we ended up with 3 girls.....
Hi...is anyone out there? I'm getting a little nervous because I will be ovulating next week so got to time this right for a boy sway. I bought the smiley face opk, which is far more accurate than trying to decifer two lines. I'll test at 2pm and if I get a positive I will test again at 10pm then thinking of dtd then or in the middle of the night? Last time I used the OK it was positive one day and negative the next. That's when I fell pg and miscarried. I'm going to do a bicarb finger because I really can't get my cm alkaline no matter how hard I try. I know doggie is a good position and orgasm before....problem is I don't orgasm during sex so would have to you know.... Am I reading too much into this? Any extra info would be greatful. Its our definate last go.

we have two beautiful girls whom we love very much, and DH has agreed we can TTC for #3! yay!
he did let on he was a little disappointed DD2 was a girl (especially as I was convinced she was a boy during pg), so whilst I would be happy with another girl, I would also like to be able to give DH a son.
I have done a bit of reading, and am concerned about the diet thing - I have to take calium supplements which according to the literature sway pink, but I can't not take them for my own health (though I have considered halving the dosage - atleast till we get our BFP).
i am going to buy DH some supplements and boxer shorts (which he hates!)
Hi Milly, best of luck! Both my boys were conceived on the day I ovulated, as far as I can tell. We're angling for a girl this time, and since DH has said this is the last one for sure (I was hoping for 4, but hmmmm) I am super nervous! I'd love to give my DH a girl, because he goes totally gooey and clucky over our friends newborn girls, and I think it'd bring a little balance to our household.
Minimatron, are you guys still trying for boy again? I wish I could offer some specific advice to you guys, but that was just the way the cookie crumbled!
Hey... yes we are. I got onto a site called gender dreaming. It has loads of information and I totally recommend it. I bought a plan on there. It goes through diet and supps and everything else. The boy diet is the high everything diet, girl is low everything.. go have a look...I'll probably confuse you. I'm just oing now so in the 2ww. This is our final...boy or girl.
Okay ladies can you hit me up on what supplies I'll need and where to get them from? I have so much going on in my life but I need to start putting myself first. It's going to be a long journey to get to the point where I can TTC but I want to get there the right way. Any help truly grateful.

Jumping in, 1st cycle TTC and gender swaying to hopefully get a little lady, any chance someone can sum up the tricks so I don't have to get angry at my phone trying to look at PP? Already on CD5 and AF has just gone so it's happening soon :)
Milly - it seemed to have worked for minimatron - they're now expecting boy number one after three girls! I haven't found out yet (and not sure if I will, too nervous) but we did try timing it for a girl.

Im ttc only half heartedly gender swaying but due to poor fertility.
We're not TTC but I want to start preconception care properly by next month. I think I'd like to try gender swaying but I'm not sure. I have two boys and I felt some gender loss for a girl but now I happily see us with three boys. Do you think swaying can bring up feelings of gender disappointment? I feel like I should give having a girl a whirl, but I don't want to be sad again if I don't have one.
Did anyone else follow this method too? There is no way I'll go on the "low everything" diet! My image of preconception care is high nutrient foods and this " low calorie, low protein, low fat diet with nutrient intake kept on the low side" is not for me. I thought it was all about ph and timing and what not but this website says to forget all that?:
Meow i already think if we have another boy i will be gender disapointed, i think thats why i keep trying to convince myself that our next baby will be a boy, weve decided to start trying next month so that we can give ourself a hood chance at getting a girl and even if its a boy at least then i know we tried, even dh is on board, i went and bought calcium/magnesium/vitamin d supplements as well as cranberry supplements, we are some what following a low sodium low potasium diet and then we'll go with timing as well. Also going with the diluted sperm theory. So dh is happy with that one lol so dtd everyday after AF until 4/5 days before Oing,
