Results of the SA are not good.
99% were "duds"
The GP believes that it's due to my DH's chronic psoriasis. She thinks when he gets that under control, the count should go up.
This means psoriasis treatment that does not affect fertility.
Also very hard when 90% of his body is covered.

Oh babe i'm sorry the results were not goo but you know what they are RESULTS and it gives you a way of moving forward.

Those results really suck. I'm so sorry. DH must be gutted. And you, not far behind.
Secondly, highlighting a few things here...
I really think you still need to see that FS - too many unknowns in that sentence. Get the low down from someone who is 100% in the know (or thereabouts) - a qualified FS. GPs are great for some things... but maybe not so much for others. Not being disparaging to your GP at all, nor am I saying they are wrong, but I think you should still see the FS.:
Are you going to keep the FS appointment? You did make one, from recollection?
And what is the treatment, for the eczema? Is there something he can do to get it under control, fast?

My advice is to get him on menevit straight away. We don't have male factor infertility but we still use it as many people swear by it.

Of course, we're still keeping our FS appointment.
It's not till march though, which gives us plenty of time to work on his psoriasis.
He will start with UV light treatments at least 3 x a week in the new year.
He already takes a naturopath prescribed male fertility drug.
However the GP and my naturopath agree that menevit and the other drugs, won't have much bearing considering the results.
I'm very positive that the light treatments will work- they have in the past.
Whether that will bring up his sperm count- we'll have to wait and see on that.

That's great hun. The UV treatment sounds good - has he had that before? Has it been as bad before? How did he respond?

Is DH doing ok?
He's had UV treatment and responded excellently within a few weeks.
It's been better before, but it's also been heaps worse.
My DH has always hated and been embarrassed by having psoriasis, so in his words- 'of course it's the bloody psoriasis, it's always is!'
Hmm my brother has really bad psorisis too. He has injections monthly I think. DO you want me to ask him what they are?
Sorry you didn't get the news you were after Emma :( very positive though that your DH has responded well to the UV treatments in the past.

Hugs hun. Sorry it's not the news you wanted.
I know this seems really out there, but have you tried blackstrap molasses (orally) for the psoriasis. My DH's psoriasis is nowhere near that bad, but the molasses clears it up amazingly. There are lots of stories online about it.
Best thing is you can get it from the supermarket (often in the health food section, and must be blackstrap). Figure it's worth a try?

Surprised- how much psoriasis does your DH have?
A lot of the treatments available, do not suit my DH as he has severe psoriasis- ie more than 90% of his body is covered.
He did used to take a tablet, but again not suitable doe fertility.
