PMSL!!!
No announcement will be made..
Poor poor DH :shakehead:
Oh, poor man!
Lol no announcement from us either!
oopps was rude ;)
It took 7 months for DH to have a zero SC after his snippy-poo so we weren't taking any risks. Lets just say we were very creative ;)
7 months!!!!! Gawd, how come it takes that long? I thought once they snipped they were pretty much safe - cos how does it get through the snipped part?
I have NFI really. It wasn't millions like a normal fertile bloke, but he was still returning a few thousand in the sample, which was enough for the pathologist to say retest in a fortnight. Maybe there was a few hangers on in the pipes :dunno:
Can they do that?? Wow, I thought (as uneducated as I was with sex ed at school cos I wasn't paying attention... ) that they all came up the tubey type things when you were actually.. uh.. gettin busyyyy
Don't blokes apparently have to get tested every 6 or 12 months too just to make sure itle is still the noooooo go??
Don't do it Mel you guys seem really fertile anyway and they say your most fertile is straight after having a bub!
My Dh had it done in Feb 08 and hasn't ever been for his SA, but it's safe to day that it worked LOL. We were careful for the first 3 months and then just avoided DTD at O time for another few months. There are a few methods used to do it. If they cut the tube, then tie each end back on itself then there is next to zero chance of it failing, but if they just put a clamp on the tube or if they snip and then just sew the ends there is a small risk of it failing.
WOw so we are better off getting the cut and tie method - do you have to specifically ask for that or do certain docs have their way of doing things?
(and woohoo - new avvy!!)
The urologist that DH saw just said this is the way he did it, which was the cut and tie method and then gave him info on the procedure, so I guess each Dr would have their own way of doing it. Some can be done in the Dr's surgery with a local, but Dh had a general. No matter which way they do it you'd think they had the damn thing cut off the way they carry on
PMSL!!! God don't tell me that, or else I'll change my mind about him getting it done and then we'll never have sex again.. ROFL
Don't rely on that either - my dad had it done after my brother and 5yrs later.... another brother!
Just never have sex again! safest bet! :D
Not safe hun. I gave up BF DD1 when she was 6 wks. I feel pregnant some time after that and I didn't have a clue until I was in hospital miscarrying twins(which was 4 months post birth).
Your poor DH! It's not looking good for him lol! Maybe you could loan some of your fertility to me - we're going to start trying again next month - and that way you could DTD. Pity it doesn't work that way.
Love the new Avi!
Kerrie - I would love to loan out my fertility to whoever needs it!!! They can have it :D And they can also have DS for a little while so there might actually be a chance of DH getting lucky, without having to try and go through DS in the middle of the bed first!!!
