I was lucky and got 2 gifts, the oval thermoserve and the toolkit. It's great having 2 thermoserves, especially when we have people over. And the peeler in the toolkit is amazing! I used to hate peeling potatoes, but now it's actually quite fun, lol! I'm not sure what other tools are in the kitchen, i couldn't get past the peeler, haha!
Tonight's dinner was beef stroganoff and mash. Mmm, so quick, easy and yummo!
What are your fave dinner meals that you make with the thermie. Preferably one pot wonders, but I will try anything new!

The next time we have chicken for dinner I'm going to try: Easy Peasy Varoma Garlic & Soy Chicken and Rice from the recipe community. Sounds delish and an all in one dinner if you do the vegetables with it.
I made more sourdough bread with 100% wholemeal flour yesterday.
What's everyone's favourite cookbooks? I only have the EDC but wanting more that I can cook meals out of and tummy snacks suitable for pre school?

danita, I only have the EDC. I have used it to death. Other wise, I just google and use on line recipes. If they're a fave, I print it and put it into a folder.
Mine got a work out over the weekend I made scrolls zucchini slice and chewy choc slice. So good

I made the EDC scones today. Holy moly, what a mess!!!! I have scone dough from here to tomorrow! The mix is really sloppy, and I didn't have enough flour on my bench, so they stuck to the bench when I tried to take them out to put onto the oven tray. My advice if you make them, is to use some non stick paper under them and use lots of extra flour to dust the bench/rolling pin/scone cutter!
They are delicious to eat though!
Just made most delicious (but naughty) chewy cookies from retro mummy. I put white choc chips and craisens in... Sweet and best cookies ever!
For anyone wanting a Thermomat but not wanting to pay $60, I bought a silicone mat from Victoria's Basement for $15, and it's a good size.

Eta: just had a look, you can buy online, but not that particular product. I just had a look at my other favourite kitchen shop, Peters of Kensington, and they have a whole bunch of silicone mats you can buy online, starting at $12.
Made the EDC cashew chicken last night. Was almost completely tasteless!! On the upside my white food only child loved it. :D
My poor thermie has had a holiday the last couple of weeks as DH has been away. Working my way back into enthusiasm.
I made the easy peasy soy and garlic chicken last night and it was yumo! Definitely not flavourless. Next time I'll add some chilli flakes to the marinade.
Today I've got to find a recipe for vegetarian sausage rolls to make and make a baby spinach, tomato and cheese pull apart.
