How are we going, ladies?
I have been trying to get into bed by 10pm.
And am up to date with eating and the videos, but need to get some more exercise in there.
Not enough hours in the day :(

Ive been going to classes at the gym 5/7 days a week but my milk supply has dropped significantly so im upping my calories (feels so wrong though!!)
I never get to bed before 10. Lately not before 11. All my youngest 3 are night owls. :( im so tired. The babies are waking me A LOT at night :(
I need to focus on not skipping meals. I just get so busy/side tracked!
I think im forming some good habits though. Instead of chips or choc after tea I have popcorn or yoghurt and berries. They both hit the spot.
My favourite snacks are yoghurt with fruit, or three corn thins with hommus, tomato and a tiny bit of mersey valley cheese.
yum!
500g loss, happy with that! I'm doing well exercising mon-fri and generally doing well with food. The weekend was a write off, I ate pizza one day and fish and chips the next :S I was sooo sick after the f&c on Sunday so I won't be doing that again! My favourite snacks are frozen grapes and healthy chocolate fudge. I eat one square of the fudge before bed with a cup of tea instead of the chocolate I used to have.
Oh the fudge sounds good!
500 g is great!
I lost 900g but im a bit disappointed as I snuck a look at the scales yesterday and I had lost 1.3kg so I put 400 on since yesterday and I cant help but feel its due to upping my calories :( its hard to find a balance!!
1.1 here :)
A little disappointing but ok.
1.1 and 900 are both good losses! Maybe the diff between tues and wed was needing to use the loo or more milk in your breasts (would that affect it? I'm just brainstorming here lol).
The fudge is from wholefood simply - I cup macadamias, 1 cup dates, 1 tbsp cocoa. Mix in food processor until combined, press into lined loaf tin and freeze for a few hours. Cut into squares and keep in the freezer. Yum!!
I keep wondering how much milk affects weigh ins.
Ill give that a whirl sounds yum!
Wow thats interesting. The boys feed a lot at night and im always trying to get a bit more sleep out of them in the mornings so ive usually given them a feed in the hopes they go back to sleep lol
Ill take notice in future though
100g loss. Disappointed but i was expecting it. Had a bit of bad takeaway over the weekend, skipped working out on Monday and then missed most of Tuesday because of very unsettled kids. I haven't done my measurements yet - keep putting it off because I don't want to be more disappointed! Here's hoping next weeks better...fx.
Yeah, I've gained 500gm :o
But then again, I have had 1-3 Christmas functions every single day, and made it to the gym a grand total of once last week...
Better luck this week!
What are people doing for the 4 week challenge?
Did my 4 week challenge - the 1000 steps.
Took about 40 minutes to get up because I kept stopping all the time to take photos.
About 10 minutes back down to the carpark :)
You have done better then me because I didn't do it. I've been so naughty. I think I deserve to be fat
I am actually regretting signing up and wished I had of waited until after Christmas. I really under estimated how hard it was going to be resisting. Even shopping is painful with so much food I love that's only really available this time of year.
Anyway I am now motivated to continue to give it my best shot.
Ignore last week.
Start today.
Don't let negatives get in your head - bad behaviour, bad food, deserving unwanted consequences. Keep it neutral.
Today: choose what you will eat, and some physical exercise you can do. Big or small.
And watch one of her videos- maybe one about self talk, or blaming.
One step, one positive choice.
I fell off the wagon. But im back on. I got very side tracked by my supply dropping then I just panicked and went back to old eating. But im back on track now. I watched a few videos and went shopping and im set to go again.
Dont beat yourself up!!
I'm really good at using my supply as an excuse 'oh one more snack can't hurt, need to make sure I'm eating enough for my milk' or 'a high calorie lunch is ok, it will help me make enough milk'. I'm getting better at not listening to my own excuses, but not always, weekends are difficult.
I've been a bit slack on the exercise front, it's just been so hot and I can't be bothered in the heat. I'm wondering if I should join the gym so I can make use of their air con, I just need to figure out when I'd be able to get there. I'm not comfortable leaving the boys in the creche yet.
700g loss this week, which I am happy with. It has officially put me into the healthy weight BMI range. I've been sitting right on the edge the past two weeks so I'm very happy to have hit that goal. I'm really happy with Michelle's recipes. They are, for the most part, really yummy!! We ate the lamb biriyani last night and I really enjoyed it. I think I'll start making that a fair bit. The other one I've really loved was the roast veggie and pearl barley risotto. I'd never cooked with barley before, although I'd always wanted to, and I was really impressed.
How's everyone going?? I lost another 900g this week - I've lost exactly 4kg since the beginning so I'm happy with that :)
