Hoody, that doesn't sound like SUCH a bad day, food wise!!
Don't beat yourself up. Did you know that even Rosemary Stanton (ie: food dictator who stops you eating anything super-tasty and wants us all to eat really healthy food all the time) says it is important to look at your diet over a 2 week period? So even in her books it is ok to have fish and chips, if on the whole you are eating a heathy balanced diet without too many saturated fats.
Remember - this is the 2009 body transformation challenge - not the 16 January challenge. Gosh, if we are all being assessed on how we did on our worst day we would have all given up already! Am I right girls?
One of the things my weight watchers leader said which sticks with me is "Hungry Angry Lonely Tired". Look out for these feelings - they are often cues for us emotional eaters. I actually wrote it on the front of my food diary as a promt and it is amazing how true it can be.
I now use this mantra in two ways. First, I try to make sure I am not hungry (easy to do - but you have to plan), lonely (call a friend if you feel down!), angry (hmmm, harder to beat but get a book of inspirational quotes LOL!) or tired (this is the BIG one for us mummies - when tired you are more likely to crave sugar!).
Second, whenever I find myself eating I ask whether I am hungry, angry, lonely or tired and then deal with THAT issue instead of eating.
