Ginger- hooray on 1.1kg loss!! That is fantastic :)
Traveller- 700g isn't too bad, you can make that up in a week! Try not to be too bummed by it, remember how i gained stacks after my week holiday? I felt terrible, but have come back even stronger.
Raupe- where are you headed too? I wish i could have a couple of days away, i need some time off! Hope you have a great time :)
ZF- thanks for updating the stats! Its great to see how everyone is doing
MammaSue- yummmm, i love watermelon, we eat some almost every day in this house!
Well, i had a near miss this morning with this weeks challenge! DF let me sleep in, i asked for 20 mins and he gave me 2 1/2 hours! Would have been brilliant if i wasn't booked in to the gym creche's 8:30 session and i had 20 mins to get everyone dressed, give them breakfast and get there. I made an executive decision to do a macca's run, but at the last minute decided it would take just as long to make myself a vegemite sandwich and pick up DD's cold toast and tell her to finish it off! I couldn't help but remember Raupe and said to myself 'i'm doing it for my BB peeps' LOL. I also had to think of you guys again towards the end of my gym session too, i was up to the 30 mins of interval running on the treadmill, which is near the end, and i decided i just couldn't do anymore and would pick up the kids early, but i thought of my peeps again and kept on going! My legs are aching now though, so i am blaming you all :) I had an excellent food day yesterday too, this mornings sneak peek at the scales had me down another 1/2 a kilo! I LOVE seeing those numbers going down!
Appletree - i am more than happy for you to blame us for your sore legs.. bring it on sister. :)

Girls have had lunch and i can't decide what i want, might wait for them to go to bed and enjoy some lunch to myself in peace :) might make up a salad or something :)
I just had a chicken wrap with corn, cucumber, lettuce, carrot and cheese (hey, i can't be perfect all the time right ;) ) and a glass of diet coke and 2 melting chocolate buds. I can highly recommend it, it was TASTY!

Yeah the one from the library, tried it this morning.. NOT a fan.. it's OLD PEOPLE in an old persons home sitting in chairs doing exercise :wall:

Appletree - I hope you and your DH are going okay. Hate it when fighting seems to be all you do. Yay for your loss and size 14 at Witchery! Way to go! Camping was just the best and DH really enjoyed his birthday. I'm going to update the camping thread if you want to have a read of what we got up to. All we want to do is pack up and go again! The Zumba dvds I have are a pack of 4 and the first one is called Zumba Beginners. It goes through each move slowly and then speeds it up so you can easily (or unco as in my case) get the hang of it. I wouldn't be surprised if its on youtube because its just teaching the moves.

ZF - YAY for getting into your 16 jeans!!! Must have been an awesome feeling! Try not to worry about what your DP says - he's probably aware that you're active and he isn't so maybe a bit of denial? From when I met you at the first meet, to the first walk we did with Kate, I noticed a difference. You're looking great hun. And how funny on the dvd you borrowed!!!!!!! I'll loan you the zumba one when I see you next!!

AFM - I snuck a sneaky look on the scales this morning and saw a loss, after eating pretty much non-stop over the four day camping trip, but being pretty active, I wasn't sure what to expect. Maybe I've sped up my metabolism at last. I know I'm starving hungry if I'm late eating around my meal times.

I'm almost at my first goal of 5kgs. I lost about 1kg this week. I wish I had some digital scales to know exactly how much but it's all good. lol.

How is everyone going this morning?? My challenge is still holding strong! I checked this morning and was down another 800g from yesterday:) I had a bit of a light bulb moment where i realised eating macca's is really holding me back... LOL. I also think my new work out is really starting to pay off, its pushing me hard and i am really feeling it each day. It is such hard work though, and i keep sleeping in and not getting enough time to get through it all!
So what are you having for dinner tonight? I need some ideas! I have lots of salad things, some sweet potato and piece of rump steak. I don't really want to go up to the shops today, a new Aldi is opening down the road from us tomorrow so i am holding out to see what i can get from there. DF is supposed to be at soccer tonight, but as its raining hard it looks like he will be home, otherwise i would just do a poached egg on toast maybe with some baked beans.
I'm doing ok. I have to focus really hard on exercise because weeknights dinner is out of my control as dh is current SAHD so he cooks it. Waaaay to much pasta and processed meats ( he does salami in lots of stuff) so all I can do is try to control portion size. I get home between 630-730 most nights so it's difficult as the kids eat at 6
But I think I lost this week, yay
I'm travelling slowly. So tired!! Today went for my morning walk, then got stuck into the house. Yesterday I managed four loads of washing and folded it all, today was bathrooms, toilets, kitchen and floors. Are you asleep yet? How excitement!
Just jumped on the exercise bike for something different, managed five minutes before my rotten knees gave up. Got on the wii fit and it told me I'd gained 1.3kg, but the other scales are reporting a loss. I think I don't accurately put in the weight of clothes. Anyway...hope you're all going well. Last night's dinner was a hot lamb salad and a roasted duck drumstick. Yum.
i've been terrible so far this week :hide: had a bacon & egg roll for lunch yesterday, and DF's grandparents were here from Monday until today and they've bought morning tea from the bakery...and I've had a bit of Harry's Rocky Road (I figure the sooner it's gone, the sooner it will no longer be a temptation...lol). My mum and nanny are coming down on Friday and leaving Sunday so no doubt I'll have more naughty food then too. And it's been raining so haven't been able to go walking, although I still have done 20 mins or so of exercise tapes a day.
*goes and hides in the naughty corner for the rest of the week* I promise I will be back on the wagon next week!

It's late and I'm tired, so I won't reply individually.
I went to Kangaroo Island for two day. Soooo much fun!! We went all over the island. The holiday was filled with heaps and heaps of walking and some rock climbing, but also with pizza, lots of alcohol and nutella for breakfast! I really enjoyed and savoured the holiday, and I don't regret splurging out a bit. You only live once, right? :D So for the next few days I'll have to exercise a bit harder and really watch what I eat. All good.
I'm proud and happy how everyone is doing. You rock! :cheer:
Morning everyone, no walk yesterday.. completely my fault, the weather was crapish i had to mop, then DP called and needed me to taste the water :rofl: so i was late and ended up just going to rhyme time BUT then i went to the hosp in the arvo to see my friends little girl and i had to park away from the hosp and walk down aswell as walking around the hospital.
DP got that bike he won on e-bay so i will try and do say 10-15min on that today.
The screen is not working so how will i know how long i have done etc... i would like to keep track somehow.

ss_storm - hun don't worry about it, life is about living and enjoying. Maybe when you have the 'naughty' food could you serve half of what you would normally eat OR make yummy fresh fruit salad with a little ice cream instead?
PRMG - you'll be back to normal ASAP... stupid knees :)
Pandora - gee where do you find a man that cooks... :rofl: haha it would be so hard when food choices are out of your control, give him a kick up the bum and say make ME friendly foods... lol

I feel like crap. We had fish and chips for dinner. We haven't shopped since we got back from camping, going today, so I've just been eating whatever I can find in the house and yep, taking its toll. I hope this rain stops for a bit so I can go for a walk, but will def be getting out the zumba dvd today too.
Welcome back Raupe!! Kangaroos Island sounds wonderful, i've always wanted to go there, and it sounds like you had an excellent time there :) I am very jealous and want to go on a holiday now! LOL.
SS_storm- doesn't sound too bad! You have to treat yourself sometimes! Mmmm, rocky road!! Yum :)
PRMG- I always go with the lower number! LOL. That sucks about your knees! What has happened to them that they are doing that? I am in agony at the moment too as my trainer is making me do 30 mins of walk/run intervals on the treadmill, my shins are killing me! I don't think i can keep doing it! I never had this problem when i was running outside, i guess because i stuck to soft surfaces only. As for Zumba, i read somewhere that an hour while burn approx 500-600 cals, so you can feel a little less guilty about eating whatever you find!
ZF- go girl on the bike! How about you just keep track of the time on your phone? Can you set an alarm to go off? If you are up to a challenge i would start with 8 mins in the morning and 8 mins at night, and then add an extra minute each each day until weigh in :) Make sure you stretch afterwards! Has your DH been on yet? Also, really important to be super careful with the kids around, whenever i ring the children's hospital their waiting 'music' is a big lecture about how the number one cause of injury in their emergency department is from home gym equipment!
AFM- had the most awful nights sleep last night. I decided it was time to try DS without his reflux medication, and i will not be trying that again any time soon! He only woke twice, but the second time DD wet the bed (we are on night 5 of night-time toilet training) but then from about 4:30am DS was awake squirming, back arching, crying and grunting. Poor kid :( I bought him in to bed with us, and then DD decided she wanted in as well, even though her bed is right next to ours! I chucked a huge tanty and stormed out because she refused to move over and let me back in and sat in the bathroom for 10 mins while she cried because i don't think she has ever seen me act like a 3 year old before... And DD's latest phrase at the moment is 'why would/should i?' in a haughty voice (and yes, i say this to DF and she is copying me...), which she uses whenever we ask her to do something. Last night i said its time to brush your teeth and go to the toilet before bed and she responded back at me very narkily- "but, why would i?"- Aaarrrrggghhhh!!! And this morning, i asked her to pick up some toys she had scattered around that are a choking hazard for DS and she said "why should i? You do it!". I completely lost the plot and said they were going in the bin and more tears ensued.
Sorry for the big vent, i am tired and cranky and need some chocolate! Thursday mornings are my only non-gym week day and i really struggle!
