A really good cheap, effective and easy detox is this: Cut out all grain based foods. Eat loads of fresh vegies with minimal fruit, good quality red meat and fish. Off dairy for two weeks. Loads of water and herbal teas. No need to spend all that money.... :)
So many programs out there have too much processed food and not enough protein, but as I have heard many health experts out there say, only feed yourself food that is hunted, plucked or picked (or something like that!). So protein, vegies and some fruit. Works very well.

Hello ladies! And a big congrats to everyone so far!!!
I didnt weigh in on monday but did today
Last thurs: 96kg,
Tonight: 95kg
Another kg loss!!!!!!
This weeks routine was just the ea sports active. Hopefully this coming week I will get more done!
Im pretty stoked by it, cause this week although I have been working out, I have had a rather average to bad diet, which includes 2 pieces of rather yummy choc sponge cake, cream and all.
Actually scrap that, Im proud of myself full stop.
Just to add a bit more; this morning I got up and put on my its time to do the washing shorts. Normally I have a rather large muffin top, and because of this I try not to leave the house in them. But this morning I've put my shorts on and the muffin top is seriously HALF of its normal size!!!!! For the first time since getting pregnant with DD2 these shorts are pretty comfortable!!
I didnt do any measurements before starting my exercise regime, but I wish I had. Im sure I would be amazed at the difference! :)

Good on you beans!!!! Muffin top reduction is SERIOUS progress! xx
-
Great work Beans! It always feel good when you can see the progress.
I've had a really great week... Until yesterday. Yesterday I had meeting etc all day (which means lots of bad food is provided for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea). Then last night went to Michael Buble concert so dinner was anything I could get there (nothing good).
I will be great again for next 2 days but am hoping yesterday hasn't undone my good work this week!
I have a question for everyone too.... Do you drink coffee while dieting? I drink either skim latte or caps (I am fussy and only drink cafe coffee) with equal sweeteners. Some people think it's ok, others not so, what do you think?
-
Tammie, If that's your vice and you aren't have 10 coffees a day, I don't think there is a problem. Skim milk is much much lower in calories than other milks
-
Oh Tammie im so jealous, I love Michael Buble
Was it a good concert??
Re: the coffee as Kimmi said skim milk is alot better for you and as long as your not having the mud cake chasers I dont think your coffees are gonna be a problem.
-
mmmmmmmmm mud cake........ tee hee
-
Mmmmm mud cake.....
I usually only have about 1 p/day, occasionally 2.
As for having a chaser with it, I am often tempted by the banana bread, but I don't buy any which is progress for me!
As for the concert Fei, it was fantastic! Our little boy, Eli, is 15 mths and it was his first night away from home too so we even got a sleep in this morning. Yay!
Good luck to us all for weigh in on Monday!

Bit of a small woohoo here
Yesterday I had my less evil version of the golden arches for lunch. The girl said to me "oh we have run out of apple slices, would a small fries be ok?" :o
Now the old me would have said "yip no worries"
Actually the old me would be having a McChicken with extra mayo and large fries anyway not a sweet chilli chicken wrap and water but I said, "oh no thats ok I will just have it like that":clap::clap:
Arent I a good girl?? I was so proud beeming like an idiot all the way back to the table with my tray :D
So glad the concert was good Tammie. I am so going next time he comes, cause I will be all hot and sexy then and as he is one of my passcards I may be in with a shot :dance::dance:
(oh I can dream cant I? hahahaha)
-
Definite progress Fei - congrats, that's awesome. :leap::leap:
MB is one of my pass cards... And Robbie Williams! Pity Robbie got married last yr and MB is getting married this year.
Good luck for morning weigh in everyone!

We can do this girls! Weigh in tomorrow! I've been sitting at about 95.1... and REALLY want to break that 95 kg barrier. I've been fluctuating around here for a while now, but I'm going to do it.
I also had my review at the gym this week, and although I've only lost a bit over a kilo in the last month, I've also lost.... wait for it...
23 cm!!!
Including eight from my bust! And five from my waist! My waist is now 99cms! I feel GOOD!!!
And I felt good enough yesterday to have a 100gms bag of chips and a packet of lollies for dinner... darn... and paying for it today with a bit of constipation...
-
WOW Divvy!!!! That is awesome news with the measurements!!!!
Way to go!
Ok I wont be weighing in tomorrow, but will weigh in on thurs. Im the same as you Divvy, really really keen to break the 95kg mark... Then my goal is 90kg...
I know I can do it, and I will do it.
:D
-
Congrats on the measurements Divvy - that's fantastic!
It's always sad losing cm off bust though... Why can't I keep them and just lose the ones off my waist?
-
I've been away for a few days celebrating my daughters 4th birthday, you guys are fantastic! mmm Micheal Buble (hinted madly at hubby to take me to see him, but he isn't coming to Canberra...so bummed! Hubby gave me the new CD as the consellation prise)
I was almost brilliant foodwise - til tonight (I should have come to you all first! Lesson Learned). I had leftover birthday cake (I do make good cake) for sinner (LOL! Now that is a funny typo - dinner is what I meant).
Our weekend was brilliant...my daughter had a wonderful time and the look on her face as she blew out her candles was gold! You'd think she'd one an oscar! She was so thrilled to have us sing for her, and hip hip horray! Gold!
Weighin tomorrow - this will reveal just how much cake I had...(I heard somewhere birthday cake was calorie free...hahhahah)
Bye for now
-
I remembered to weigh in, which is my first achievement.
The second is that I've lost 1.8kg this week! Down to 102.6 from 104.4. Super happy.
I am aiming to be under 100 by end of Feb... But I'll have AF in that time so not sure how easy that's going to be....
Oh well, I'll aim for 101.5 for next week.
xx

Good morning ladies
I managed a 600 g loss, just over 107 now.
YAY! Reckon I will have to be extra active this week though, or that choccie cake will reveal itself! I need to step it up a bit to reach my goal...another 1.6 kg by the end of the month.
Stay Healthy and Happy!
xo

Hey Girls,
I've lost 1 kg - I'm now 129!
That's a total of 14.5 kg's since I started this journey!
-
guys you are all doing SO SO well! I was 109 kgs last August, and this morning was 95.1, so getting there... Slowly.
Keep it up! I've just been to the gym and am having ham and salad for lunch. I feel GREAT!
