 Wooo! Well done hun - I promise it does get easier - just get in your 3 a week and you will improve!! I still remember the first time I felt like I could run through my walks and did! My run is more of a shuffle too though!
Haven't run for a few days because of my anxiety but going to attempt to do something tomorrow.

Ok, I am on board. I started this over a week ago and haven't done anything since - no real reason why, mainly due to lack of planning to fit it in BUT DD goes to kinder 3 days in Feb, so I know I can fit it in then. It usually takes me about 40 mins, so that really isn't much time.

I remember vaguely seeing this thread a few days ago and now I've decided to give the program another go, I thought I might join in.
Work is having a corporate challenge to see how many of us can get points via our exercise and I think it was the kick in the butt for me to start exercising regularly again. I'm not trying to lose weight or anything, just want to exercise for fitness and for stress relief.
I tried this program once before but my bung knee gave me trouble, so this time, I'm buying a brace and not going so hard. I'm also running on turf rather than concrete.
I'm starting next week (once I've bought my brace) so will be logging in to update then!
Now to read backwards to how everyone else is going... :)

sush - when we both get better at it, we should jog around Princess Park :) and when we are really sadistic an early-morning run of The Tan. But I think that will be at the end of the program

Sopdet, let me get through the first week and then we'll see if I even get better at it! Lol! I've always been much better on the pushbike because of my knee, so maybe if it comes to that, I can ride next to you while you do for 5k?

I'm starting again on Sunday - over the Xmas/new year was just a lil hard to keep going so figured a fresh start is a better idea

I didn't run today, but went for an adventure today, walked down lots of stairs, a walk along one beach, then around the cliffs, then along another beach, then around more cliffs, then to the other beach, then ran around in the water, then walked along a beach and up a huge amount of stairs (anybody who knows the beaches along the great ocean road & the national parks along there should know the type of stairs I am talking about). All-in-all about 5kms of sand/rock walking! My bum hurts and my legs hurt!
