A few thoughts after reading your post. Firstly, totally agree with what you said about the recommended loss per week. I sometimes feel like the turtle in here... averaging 0.45kg per week... plodding on. Folks have come in & out, losing bigger numbers, but then sometimes dropping off the radar. But hang on, i've lost 10kg now. Slow & steady is a GREAT way to do this, you will be there before you know it (but I know that impatient feeling too). Try not to worry about others with big losses... focus on what YOU want to do!
Secondly - TIRED mumma. So much harder to eat well & focus when you're tired. Thirdly - you're tired, you're BF'ing, you're trying to eat well. I'll be quite honest here, if it was me, I'd eat the darn pie. You need food in you to do what you want to do. If you're eating well all day, one meat pie won't knock you out of the ball park. I reckon I've had junky takeaway about once a week. I have fewer chips & try to have a salad... but honestly eating super perfectly when you're busy with young kids & tired.... DOES NOT HAPPEN! DO you have a pattern? I had a big fortnightly pattern even when i exercised & ate well for the whole fortnight... one week bigger loss.... next week smaller loss/same/or even a gain. You might be really surprised with the number next week, you never know.
And finally - woo hoo, great loss SJ! :hooray:
