Hi all,

Richichi, I just signed up for the next round, I havent done it before but I have never come across anyone who has regretted it and the results speak for themselves when you see the girls involved.
I'm not a fan of being told exactly what to eat, I would much rather just stick to tracking calories myself, but I think it will still be awesome :) I'm most looking forward to the support in the forums, I've heard it is phenomenal!
Hi RhiChiChi :hello:
I must admit I have not been strict with it and have just walked 1 hour a day and have lost to date 4kgs in 10 weeks (I started a size 12). I had aimed for 6kgs but Im pretty happy since I havent put in as much effort as I wanted to (my own fault). I find it very difficult to lose weight so it was a shock to see the numbers dropping. I also love that I have printed out the recipes so I can always go back and do a whole 12 weeks again and incorporate these meals into my new weekly meal plans.
So overall, with my lameness I am very happy in the program :)
I've just signed up for round 2. Did round 1. Happy with size loss (to date 50cms all over), fitness levels are way better, not as much weight as I would have liked but I've been slack both with food and exercise at times.
I'm happy with the kick start it gave me and looking forward to doing the next round and pushing myself just that little bit more :) I have an overseas trip to get a hawt body for (oh yeh and probably a pregnancy in the next 12 months) :)
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. I am going to join when I get back from holidays, so will look forward to doing it with some of you ladies.
Appletree - we'll be able to pick these ladies brains :-). Best of luck. I have seen some of the u-tube postings and it is amazing to see what people have achieved. I am a little scared I will fall off the wagon as I usually
do ....
I am joining up for round 2 when I get paid in 2 weeks.
I havent done it before, and hoping to give it a good go.
*Bump*
Hoping some others will join up too :-)
I have joined and done pre-season task 1.
I am yet to do the 'excuses' task or then next one yet (haven't had a quiet moment yet)
I have signed up to train with a personal trainer twice a week, yoga once a week & then I will do some stuff at home until Michelle gives us her plans. In the interim I will use calorie king to monitor my food & calorie intake. I weighed myself this morning - holy moly, Easter was not kind to me...!
I'm reading her 'crunch time' book (thanks Sopdet) which sounds very similar and has some good things for me to focus on until I can join on the 11th and get the real tasks.
I'm starting with drinking 2L water a day, and going to bed earlier. These are habits I find easy to get back in to, and would be 'quick wins' in terms of motivation for me.
The hard part for me will be getting my family on board to support me.
I'm in guys!!! I am using the same username as on here, and have done pre-season task one if you want to find me and say hello :)
Can't wait to get started!
Pandora - I have asked my DH to buy me that book for Mothers Day, so glad to hear some feedback about it.
Hi appletree! I will try to find you, I changed my username to 'Juls' (it was rhichichi).
I did my first session with the PT & I nearly passed out about four times.... I am so unfit :( I know it won't take long to get back into it but I am very disappointed in myself for going so far backwards. I have also put on about 3kgs since the last time I saw her, which was in August last year...
I joined round two! A little excited! I'm looking forward to getting healthy and losing some more weight!
Pandora, my sister gave me Crunchtime for my birthday. It's really good! I've also got a signed copy of Losing the Last 5kg which is really good as well.
I'm undecided whether I'm signing up for round 2. Mainly a $ thing, but I only have 4kg to lose now. I had just over 5 at the start of the round, but blew out at Easter and now sick so no exercise for the past week and a bit. I'm thinking I could just go it alone and follow the programs in the books but then I like the whole online experience with everyone :)
So can I do it while BFing?
Yes you can Kaz, you may just need to add in a few extra calories through an extra snack during the day. There is some specific fact sheets in the program about doing while breastfeeding.
Wow, I emailed them and they replied like within 20 mins!
:
The good news is YES you can do the program. You will just need to up your calories by abour 500 per day and you can excercise. I have some information below which I hope will help you. We hope you join us on our amazing journey. As a mum, I think it is very important to do something which focusses on yourself.
"While breastfeeding, your energy needs are also increased due to the extra calories required for milk production. If you are on the 12WBT program after the birth of your child you will still need to add at least 500 calories extra per day to the 12WBT diet plan. This is based on full breastfeeding in the first 6 months and partial breastfeeding from 6-12months.
Physical activity through pregnancy and breastfeeding It is a good idea to continue to include some physical activity in your day as this helps maintain and develop fitness and strength. However, consult your doctor beforehand, especially if you haven’t been physically active before becoming pregnant.
Most breastfeeding women can participate in some exercise without affecting their lactation. However if feeding straight after exercise your baby may appear unsettled during feeding due to lactic acid in the breast milk. This doesn’t hurt the baby and usually the lactic acid levels drop within two hours.
It is best to combine exercise with balanced eating and adequate nutrition. It is also important to drink plenty of fluids when breastfeeding and exercising. On a rare occasion, a breastfeeding mother may find she needs to limit her exercise so that her milk supply does not drop."
And I've joined up! Kazbah is me!
Yay! I joined up last night :)
Awesome pandora!! Great work, what is your user name? I will look out for you :) I am the same as in here!
Yeh mines the same too
Woo hoo! We have a great little group going here - hopefully a few more will join :-)
Girls I just signed up also. User name the same. I told DH this afternoon that if inlose weight he has to give up smoking - so that in itself is a big enough motivation for me.
How much weight does everyone have to lose. I would like to lose 15kgmto get back to my pre Pregnancy 1 weight . This of I lost almost 12kgs through eating properly and walking 30 mins 2-3 times per week. My problem is though when I di t have to watch what I eat for the buns sake I put o. The weight after my first of I out on 20kgs after I gave birth- I do t want to do that again.
I have 25 kilos to lose, but I'm aiming for 10-12 for this round.
Tomorrow morning I'm going to a outdoor group fitness class and this afternoon I ordered a heart rate monitor.
I really want to do well at this, I need to do it for me
I've just done my welcome post on the forum there :)
I'm glad there are a few of us doing this 2nd round together, we can keep each other on track.
I'd like to lose 15kgs this round, I lost 8kgs all up in the first round and I dropped the ball big time in the last month.
Have started a FB group for just us :) PM me to join. It is a secret group so you'll have to be added to it :)
I'd like to lose 12 kgs, so 1 kgs per week. I saw a post from a Round 1 participant and she lost 18 kgs & she wasn't that big, so I think it is doable. In addition, my personal trainer thinks I can loose 5kgs in 8 weeks....
Rhi - I lost 3.7kgs in the first week of round 1 :) It is doable.
Basically Mish says that if you stick to the food you'll lose weight even if you drop the ball with the exercise (which was my downfall in the last month with injuries & a few bad nights/weekends of food with friends)
Im aiming high, i am going for 15kgs :) I am going to be focussing on food as i know i can do the exercise and i enjoy being fit, but i have next to no discipline with food.
Good luck everyone, i am getting excited! I think it starts in 9 days :)
She supplies the menu, recipes and shopping list for you each week. I've got menus & recipes from the first round as pdf files on my computer, I still drag out my favourites even now and also swap favourites from earlier weeks (with similar calorie values) with ones in later weeks I wasn't a fan of.
Also the recipes & shopping list is for two. For those breastfeeding ones & for the men you add in calories :)
Yay! Glad I have found this thread! I signed up a few weeks ago and can't wait to get stuck into it all! Don't have time to read replies now, have a stupid OFI on our house today. So I best get cleaning but I will be back!!!
So many new people signed up for round 2! :) I have signed up again, after a disappointing round 1. I think the program is awesome though, and some of the transformations I have seen have been awesome.
I lost 5kg, but completely lost the plot in the last 5 weeks. We had our house on the market in the middle of round 1, and I found it hard to keep organised and kept slipping back into bad habits. Three weeks into round 2, we move house so I have to get myself ready for that somehow. I have to sit down tomorrow and do pre-season task 7. If there is one thing I have learnt from round 1, it's that this task is the most important one for me.
now where is this FB group??
I'd love to join the fb page too... The more accountable i have to be the better
Hi ladies!
I have joined round 2 too!!! I have been having ups and downs regarding getting ready for the program over the last few weeks - I get so worried about letting myself down - but am so so SO keen to be successful at the same time.
I am so excited that the finale is in Brisbane this round - I think that will totally help keep me motivated to get to the end.
I have 20kgs to lose - that still shocks me to admit!! I am aiming to lose OVER 10 kgs this round - anymore than that is a bonus.
I'm really hoping the exercise will help get my sleeping patterns back in order because I've been a partial insomniac for months now and am sick of it!!
Can't wait to share the journey with you ladies!!

If anyone wants to be added to the group today pm me and I will sort out getting you added there :)

Kts64s I have added you to the group :)
Very excited about the launch! I'm about to head to the gym this arvo. Just joined and very excited.
I lost 5 kg last round and I have signed up for rou d 2 - want to go even harder this round. It's such an awesome program me.
I have also joied for round two. Im ashamed to say that I actually have a Gym Membership from January for a year and have only been to the gym once.
For those of you that have done this in the past what is the food like, is there a lot of preparation and what examples are for breaky (as I start work at 6:00-6:30am and finish at 5:00 the breakfasts really worry me if they have a lot of prep and cooking involved).
Thanks.
Look forward to seeing everyones progress:)
