Giving myself a good hard kick!
ok I've been MIA... I'm up late... DH is snoring and I can't sleep :wall:... I've nearly posted to give myself a big kick up the backside a number of times, but haven't QUITE got there... so no time like the present! I have to write my reasons to motivate myself when I come back here & see them in the cold hard chocolatey light of day!
- I really really really want to get back to a normal BMI and have a healthy waistline to help myself avoid getting GD again next PG - I am pure apple shape - I know my risks for GD and Type II.
- I start work again in a few months - and I want to fit into my old work clothes and look FAB (plus it will probably be harder to try and lose weight then too)
- Just cos I can't do the things I used to do, is no reason not to do the things I CAN do!
- Last time I was eating great & exercising I felt FANTASTIC
- I want to be a good role model for my son - healthy, fit, fabulous.
- I joined this to lose weight, not to wuss out & make excuses or feel sorry for myself!
So lots of reasons why skpping the chocolate and going for something healthier is a great idea!
