Nai: Hope you get through spring carnival ok ;) Enjoy.
Cherished: Congratulations on your loss :) You sound really pumped and ready to go... It's cool, and very inspiring.
Belfie: Thanks mate. I am feeling much more positive today about everything. Good on you - two walks a day! That's great. And yeah, it's a good workout taking the kids, hey? I find pushing my two up the hill in the stroller gets my heart going like mad, LOL!
Nadine: Sorry about the tummy bug - that's the worst :( Hope your DH gets better soon.
I got heaps thicker around the tummy in my last pregnancy... I used to be a real pear shape but since having Phoebe I have just been a big round ball, LOL! So I suppose the waist cm loss is just getting me back to my original shape... When I have lost weight in the past I've lost it easiest from my waist and of course my boobs. Thanks to bfeeding I still have a pretty decent rack going ;)
Berrme: PMSL @ your parents needing to feed you up. Mine are the same - we went there for dinner last night and there was enough food for 8 and there were 4 of us there (plus the kids... who don't actually eat much/anything). Glad you are feeling good, and that's a beautiful weight you're at :)
Tinsel: Congrats on the "woohoo", mate :) Good on you.
This week is rough - lots of birthdays and birthday dinners. Have our niece's 18th tomorrow night and... YAY! I fit into a top I bought a few weeks ago that I thought I'd have to return. (It is a pink and black theme, and I found this top with sparkles etc and just bought it without trying it on ) It's a lovely reminder that the weight is coming off, even if it's not as fast as I'd hoped.
Anyhoo, I haven't been the most careful with my eating the last few days, out to breakfast one day, to dinner two nights, plus there's the party to come, and I have done some cooking for it that I stupidly kept sampling as I cooked. What a knob. But hopefully my good behaviour apart from that will help me out for next weigh-in. :crossfingers:
-
Hi guys! Sorry Tinsel - I have added your stats in.
Well I haven't actually been hiding just really busy at work and now we are down to dial-up speed - so painful! I have been sick the last couple of days but slept from 4pm yesterday until this morning and felt a lot better today. So exercise has gone by the wayside a bit this week apart from soccer. But at least my eating has been fine. Expecting a small loss on Saturday as I have lost 1cm from my waist (my horror area). As long as the tummy keeps going I will be happy!
Anyway hope you are all going well. Bye!
-
Holy abs! I did a weights session with my PT today that focussed on triceps, back and abs. It really hurt! I am going to be sore tonight/ tomorrow, that is for sure.
lol Snacks, thanks. I feel fairly beautiful, :p I just want to shift the last few kilos that I never seem to get rid of. It would be nice to see what I look like with a slightly smaller bum and thighs. Knowing my luck I will just get an even smaller waist and look like Jessica rabbit. I guess that would be ok, she is pretty hot. ;)
Cherished1, Thanks for your positivity. It must be really hard mentally to be ttc and to have to lose weight after mc's, it is very inspiring that you can be so positive. I hope you are putting the weight back on soon.;)
Tinsel, great losses, well done!
I weighed myself this morning and the scales said 65.2! down 800g in 2 days? I don't think so... I hate scales! At this rate I will be in the 64's by my next official weigh in on Wednesday.
-
Hi guys. Just wanted to share that I weighed in this morning and got 66.0kg. Thats a loss of 1.3kg in two weeks (didn't weigh last week) and brings me officially to 3kg this challenge but also that I have reached a major goal of 20kg since I started last xmas. Woo hoo! It was nice to get some new work shorts and fit easily into a size 12. So feeling pretty happy with my weight at the moment. Only 6kg to go until my goal weight.
-
Woot Krys - well done!!
I weighed in this morning and am 65.9 :leap: I haven't weighed in for 2 weeks and wasn't expecting a loss to be honest so I am rapt!! Plus I see a 65 in front of my weight. I can't remember the last time I saw that!! I think I am 2.8kg down for the challenge so far.
-
Krys - congratulations! That's awesome - 20kg! In less than a year! Well done. And 1.3kg in a fortnight is pretty damn good too :)
Nai - congratulations to you too for getting to the 65's!
I have had such a norti week, so while my loss this week is minimal, I am stoked that it isn't a gain, LOL!
Weight: 76.1kg (300g loss)
B: 97cm (no change)
W: 89.5 (0.5cm loss)
H: 103.5 (0.5cm loss)
I almost wasn't going to weigh in this week because I was scared of what I'd see... but it's ok. I have already promised myself that I must get out more for walks - I have actually really missed it while being so busy last week. So hopefully I can shift a bit more this week.

Excellent work girls!
20kg is awesome Krysalyss!
And Nai, almost 3kg already is fantastic for someone who doesn't have a huge amount of weight left to lose!
Snacks, any loss is great when you haven't been very strict for the week. Well done.
So I have decided to weigh in a day early as DH and I are going out tonight and I plan to eat and drink to my heart's content. Probably won't get good results if I weigh tomorrow.:p
Anyway, as of this morning I was 65.6kg, down 400g from last wednesday.
Bust: 93cm (no change)
Waist: 71.5cm (down 0.5cm)
Hips: 96cm (down 3cm)
Not too bad at all, me thinks. :D
Hopefully, if I am good for the rest of the week I can cancel out tonight's damage and get down to the 64's next Wednesday. I wish I had my ob's scales. They always weighed me 2kg lighter than my home ones, I would already be in the 63's.
I finally went for a run with the 2 boys in the pram on Sunday. I managed to run the whole 3km to the park so was pretty pleased with myself. Now I don't really have any excuse for not running at all, even when DH can't come with me. Except the heat... maybe I can try that. ;)
Happy exercising.

:hello: Hi girls
Snacks & berrme Thanks girls, it's nice to know I am inspiring someone :p
 Well done to the girls who are hitting the 66's and the 65's WOOOHOOO I will be totally excited when I get there!
AFM my losses are kinda heaps smaller than what I'd hope to see but I know a loss is a loss  only 200 grams for me yesterday and I was really hoping to be at least 68.4kg so that I could move my ticker along to loosing 4kg but I ended up on 68.5kg instead.... I am gonna really step up my workouts for more often and longer sessions so that i can really start to see something decent on the scales :D
-
I should have waited till today, the scales just said 65.4. ;) Oh well, it will make my results look better next week.
Well done, Cherished. You will be moving that ticker very soon.:D
-
Well done everyone! I have had a bad week not working out as much as I should have and eating naughty things that I am glad I didn't have weight gain in the weigh in this morning.
My details are now
Weight: 74.6kg
Bust: 94cm
Waist: 80cm (2cm loss this week)
Hips: 103cm (1cm loss this week)
The good thing too is that my pants do up nicely instead of stretching to the max to be done up
I have a cranky baby so best be off. Keep up the good work everyone.
-
Hi Ladies,
wow there are some great results being achieved.....well done
as for me - Dh and i are back from holidays, its a hard life going on a cruise without the kids.....pity about all the food on offer though :shakehead: , anyhow the 1 and a bit kg i had lost before we went has all but come back. The Wii is telling me i am less than my starting weight so i will post my results next week and go from there.
keep up the good work!!
-
We're half way girls! 6 weeks until christmas!!!
And I am so thrilled to say that this morning I was 68.4kg so I can finally move that ticker along to 4kg's lost int he last 6 weeks :leap:
berme I can't wait to be 65.4! Well done hon :D I remember hovering around 65 for a few years thinking I needed to loose weight! I's funny how now I can't wait to be 65 lol
Tinsel it sure is nice to have pants do up nicely rather than being really tight or worse still having to buy larger ones... For me getting back into old pants was such an achievement :p
Kas I would fnid all that food really tempting too and would no doubt put on way more than 1 and a bit kg's so you have done really well... Today is a new day ;)

Hi everyone! Well I put on 500g this week eek! But I still lost a cm around my tummy so maybe it is just AF coming. I have also got my pre-AF fatigue so probably.
Its a big exercise week for me as DH and DS are in Brisbane and I am cycling everywhere. It feels good though. Except on my way home from soccer tonight I was enjoying myself then got abused by some aggressive alcoholics on the corner of my block. I got called an f'ing c etc. They went on and on till I was gone. I rode straight past my house cos I didn't want them to know where I lived then had to back around the block with my lights off so they didn't see me. So awful. Don't understand why people have to be so aggressive.
Anyway I am hoping for a decent loss this week. I want to get as far away from 66kg as I can!
Hope you are all doing well :)
-
I hope next week is good for you Krys!
Wel done cherished!! Eeek Christmas is so close!
I only lost 0.2kg this week - need to change my routine I think!!
-
Nai still great that you hd a loss
Krys awwww that is just horrible!!! I would have been in tears :crying: good on you for riding everywhere though :p
Well my weigh in yesterday was a little disapointing! On sunday I was 68.1kg so I expected to be in the 67's yesterday but was back up to 68.6!!! :wall: oh well I know the 67's arent' too far away
-
zippidy-doo-dah, I have made it into the 64s!!!! I haven't been in the 64s for many many years.
weight: 64.8kg (down 800g)
bust: 93cm (no change)
waist: 71cm (down 0.5cm)
hips: 95cm (down 1cm)
Finally it feels like I am getting somewhere again. It is only 1.7kg so far, but after sitting at 66.5 for about a month before starting this challenge it feels great!! :D
Krysalyss and Cherished1, try not to worry about being up again. I weighed myself on Sunday after a big pizza meal Saturday night and I was 66kg! Lucky that wasn't weigh in day. :p I am sure it will be gone again in no time! :D
Cherished1, I have almost always hovered between 65 and 67kg and have always thought I needed to lose more weight. After babies it feels so thin. :p I think everyone should be just a little bit fat at some point to get some perspective.
Kas, well done not putting on more while you were away!! I hope you have some good results to report this week.
Tinsel, woohoo for your pants fitting. Soon they will be too big and you will have to buy new ones. :p
Anyway, just got home from training so I'm off to have a shower and make some lunch...I'm starving. ;)
Keep it up girls, you're doing well!
-
berrme lol I agree, if only everyone experienced being a bit overweight they would appreciate how thin they really are!
AFM :leap: I cracked the 67's today with 67.9kg so exciting. hope i can budge even more for my official weigh in on Monday :D
-
Sorry everyone, I have been off air for a while. Had such a crap week last week.
I am all geared up to weigh in on Monday though. Have to replace the batteries in the wii fit before then! (Bit tricky given I'll be interstate for the day tomorrow, LOL!) Hopefully I'll get my act together this week anyway... I mustn't fall off the wagon.
Congrats you girls on reaching some great goals
-
Wow guys, you are doing really well!
I however haven't been going so well the last 2 weeks but at least I haven't gained any weight. Snacks, I am on the Wii as well but doing the EA Sport Active which I quite like but I have only done 2 workouts in the last 2 weeks :( I am determined to get my butt into gear this week especially since we have the portable air conditioner out and working in this heat.
-
That sounds good, Tinsel. I'm using the wii fit to weigh myself because it is more accurate than my dodgy bathroom scales! I haven't been so great on the wii workouts - I think I am a bit bored of them. Just trying to get out with the girls in the stroller, but like you say, it's hard in the heat. Good on you for not gaining. I've no idea what my weight's done over the last couple of weeks. But I have been in tears for much of that time so perhaps I have lost a bit in fluid, LOL!
-
:hooray: this morning I was 67.6kg wooohooo hope it's even less tomorrow!
Loved my activity yesterday... I went to the beach and took my heart rate monitor, I kicked out in the ocean for 30 mins and than went back in for another 10mins, than later in the night while watching tv I did pilates (hips, buns and thighs) on our fluffy rug, so happy with my loss and felt great doing it :p
-
ok so now I really get to be excited as I have lost 1kg this week and am 67.6kg this morning
-
Awesome work berrme and cherished!! Tinsel - good work on not gaining when you've been off the wagon. Snack - I hope you are feeling better and that you can get out today in the cooler weather!
AFM - I lost 0.5kg this week so am 65.2kg. I was hoping to hit 65 for my next goal reward but oh well that will have to wait until next week. I really want to be 64 for Christmas but it has been so hard to get through the 65's that I'm not sure if I can do it. I am trying to mix up my exercise to get things moving more and I did a pump class yesterday. I can barely move today and can hardly lift my baby
-
Cherished, way to come back after last week!! You will be at 65 in no time!!
Nai, you sound like me... I am really starting to think I am just supposed to be 65 and no less. It was really quite easy to lose the weight until I got to 67, then it got hard. The heat isn't helping, and xmas really isn't the best time to lose weight. ;) Oh well, there are a few weeks left before xmas and not too far left to get to 64, lucky I didn't say I would get to 62. :p
Snacks, hope you had a good time at your BB get together, and you stayed on the wagon.
Tinsel, I hope you found the right gear for your butt. ;) I like the sound of the Wii for exercising but my boys would never leave me alone to work out. Looking forward to hearing about your next loss.
AFM, I fell off the wagon big time in the name of helping a friend celebrate her engagement. I wasn't very well on Sunday morning and I was left wondering why I ever drank that much. I think I might have to concede I am too old for that now. Anyway, hopefully another 2 days is long enough for my weight to settle, I am really hoping to still see a 64 on Wednesday.
-
Hi all.
Cherished - you make exercise sound so serene and wonderful, LOL! So pleased for you.
Nai - well done on the loss and the pump class. Hopefully those last couple of hundred grams remove themselves easily this week for your reward!
Berrme - Thanks, I had fun yesterday. And I didn't do too badly with my eating. Sorry about the after effects of the big night out! I must admit, I can't stay up too late or have many drinks these days. I am just way too knackered the next day! Hope you are feeling better today. Fingers crossed for you for Wednesday.
I am pleased with my stats this week. I have been all over the place with my eating though, so don't know how sustainable it all is. But will keep doing my best.
Weight: 74.1
B: 95
W: 87.5
H: 102
I overate tonight at dinner  Feel like such a loser, so heavy in the tummy and uncomfortable. Serves me right.
-
Snacks lol yeah it was actually really great! kicking in the ocean hardly seems like a workout, it was lovely, anyone near a beach should give it a try  Plus it does stop overeating during the day cause you don't want to get a stich ;)
Nai 1/2 a kg loss is fantastic, if you look at my stats that's pretty much what I have averaged and I am slowly getting there, well done hon
berme good luck with your weight in tomorrow I hope the celebration doesn't show up there :o
AFM now I hope this isn't over kill but OMG :hooray: this morning I was 67kg wooohooo so I've lost 600g in 1 day YAY! and officially lost 5.4 kg's and get to move my ticker along :D
-

Yay, I managed to stay at 64.8 this week. I saw 64.6, but then I had a drink. I will stick with no change at all and aim to get close to 64 by next Wednesday.
Cherished, I hope that 600g stays gone.:)
Snacks, thankfully I didn't feel terrible for too long. The panadol and maccas got it under control by lunchtime. Thanks for your concern. I really don't expect any when I have inflicted the pain on myself. lol.
-
berme no such luck I only had that one day of seeing 67 and it has slowly crept up to 67.4kg :wall: AF is due tomorrow but I hope she stays away and I get a BFP instead! at least I know why I'm heavier again and if it at least stays below 67.6kg I will record a loss this week :crossfingers: Ahhhhh I so wish I was down to 64kg already! so jealous :nahnah:
So I went to the beach again today and have got the best tan now!!!! feeling so good about myself and confident and sexy which is something I haven't felt in about 5 years now, to hell with being out in the sun a people telling me it's 'bad' I am embracing a summer of feeling fab not flab! I still feel so motivated and am very proud of myself.... 4 weeks until christmas!!!!!!!!!!! I will have to keep loosing at least 500grams a week to reach my goal :cheer:
-
OK so today is my weigh day and I ended up on 67.3kg which is still a loss of 300grams so I can't complain especially as I'm expecting my period... But still disappointing seeing I saw 67kg's earlier in my week. I do feel great though and like I've lost weight especially around my stomach.
-
-
Sounds like it has been a tough week in here! I just weighed in and lost 0.2 so am 65.0 :wall: I don't think I am ever going to get to 64. I guess I should be happy it was a loss, especially as I had a bit of a big weekend - although it's not going to get any easier between now and Christmas with all of the parties and catch ups!

Hi everyone. I am on a big plateau at the moment. My weight isn't going anywhere. Even though I have still been pretty good with exercising the eating part seems to be really hard. I think it might be due to a lot of work stress. I need to get back on the wagon but am too tired!
Hope you guys are doing better than I am at the moment!
-
It hasn't been a week for big losses, that is for sure. I am down another 200g, so am now 64.6kg. I lost 1 cm off my hips, but nothing else has budged. I have decided that my thighs are never going to get any smaller, they are getting quite toned now, but no smaller.
I really want to get to 64 before xmas so I really need to get stricter to see some more movement next week!!
-
Similar story here too. I am exactly the same as I was last week and my motivation is dwindling but I only have 2 more workouts on my Wii Active to finish the 30 day challenge so I am determined to finish that this week.
I was hoping for a 5kg loss before xmas but 3kg so far has been great to fit back into my clothes properly. My favourite jeans are still a bit tight so hopefully it won't be too much longer before I get back into them.
Krysalyss - work stress is bad. Hope it eases up soon and you aren't so tired anymore.
berrme - you will get to 64kg for sure. You sound determined and it is only 600g (although I know how hard it is to shift so I shouldn't so 'only').
Nai - congrats on the loss.
Snacks - doh! It sneaks up quickly and hopefully it goes just as fast or maybe the scales were wrong?
cherished1 - good work. I would love my tummy to be getting smaller but it feels bloated these last couple of days, and looks it too.
How's everyone else going?
-
Tinsel I was just so happy to fit back into the fav jeans! even if it was with a long top over my butt ;) and you can still knock another 2kg off in the next 3 weeks :cheer:
Krys :hello: dont plateau's suck!!!
snacks any chance that gain is just fluid?
Nai be happy with 65 hon it's a great achievement, you will get down to 64 soon ;)
berrme you can totally get to 64 before christmas!!!!
AFM still feeling really motivated and tomorrow it will be 3 weeks till christmas!!!!! gosh I'd love to loose a kg a week! than I'd be in the 64's too :bluecheer:
-
lol, Cherished, I keep saying the same thing about 3kg before xmas. 62 is my ultimate goal, but I don't think I have enough motivation for 1kg per week. I would really need to do some running for that, and it has just been too hot!!
That isn't the right attitude though,
c'mon girls (and guys, where are you?), we can do it! Lets move those last couple of kilos so we look super hot for santa. Or for ourselves and the people around us that actually exist. :p
Pain is temporary, pride is forever. (Someone quoted that at me once, I don't buy it. ;))
