My understanding of the fat/muscle thing is that our cells only live a certain amount of time so if we are building muscle and eating sensibly our fat cells are not being replaced and our muscle cells are multiplying. Fat can't actually become muscle because they have different chemical composition.
Our bodies use food first for fuel and then after that they use muscle and then fat so if you feel hungry your body is probably burning your hard earned muscle which is why it's important to eat 5 meals a day and why you shouldn't work-out hungry. Also why it's good to have a protein hit after a workout.
My left buttock is in agony. I got confused during the lunges track at pump and swapped legs when we went from static to dynamic lunges and then tried to fix it by going back to the other leg and then got confused and ended up doing almost the whole thing on the same leg
I think I need something like a breastfeeding bracelet for my lunges because I've almost done it more than once. Or maybe I should just do the same leg as the instructor each time and hope she's not as easily confused as me.
I ran 7.5km in just under 50 minutes today. I walked a bit just after 5 km. The treadmills at the gym only go for 30 minutes and then you have to stop and start again and I find it really hard to keep running when the treadmill stops. I always have to walk for a while. I need to find a way to get through that and just keep running.
We're up to our second thread now :)
