Have you checked in this week?
I've edited Manhattan's post.
Thank you.
No weight change for me today. Actually I havent weighed in as I am away so don't have my usual scales so I will just go as the same as last week.
:happyforyou: 500g loss YAY! the scales are finally moving
No change from me.... doesnt look like I will be fitting into that dress for the wedding!
Have you tried some of the shaping underwear? That may help fit into a special dress.
Well looks like it's been a pretty good week on the whole, lets keep it up girls :cheer:
Minimatrom, I agree with Krys, shapewear can work wonders, help us squeeze into an outfit, and smooth out any lumps and bumps. I'm sure you'll look gorgeous in whatever you decide to wear!
So the weekend is upon us all once again. Like many others I suspect this is when I find it most difficult to be good, food wise that is. I already msg dh and told him to pick up some nandos on the way home, terrible I know, but I swear I'll only eat a handful of chips! On the flip side though, DH does like to get out and about, so hopefully we'll get a nice long bike ride in, weather permitting of course.
What does everyone else have on for the weekend? And do you find weekends hard to deal with exercise and food wise?
Hope you all have a great weekend, whatever you have planned xo
This weekend has the quarter finals of the world cup too! Uh-oh its gonna be so hard to get time to get off the couch  let alone pass by the nibbles, beer etc Good thing I started the C25K yesterday, I'll have another run on wednesday night and ........ (nah kidding, looking forward to my walk-run tomorrow)
Thanks girls.... will go out and have a look at shape wear, while the girls are at mums this weekend. I actually havent tried on my dress since I have had dd3.... Im just assuming that it wont fit! I'll go try it on!!!
Im on the hunt for another exercise bike!!! Needing something nice and quiet and compact. My other one is pretty old and rusty and I just feel like upgrading!!! My old one is with the handlebars that move and the wheel fans you as you ride!!!
Mini you might get a pleasant suprise when you try on your dress - shapewear is great too.
I got on the scales today - lost all of my regain weight and 200g so currently sitting at 75.8! Yay!
Ran 4 km today before pump. Then I realised I had set up at the front of the room before running and I had awful inner thigh sweat. I felt really self-conscious bending over.
Weight seems to be going up :o
I really should get out a tape-measure and measure myself and stop looking at the scales. I feel fitter this week than last week but the scales disagree with me *sigh*
My gym is going to get Sh' Bam soon. I'm assuming it will be more fun than Zumba. The demo day will be taught be the chick who used to do Oz Aerobics so I'm a bit excited about that.
Howdy all! I also find the weekend harder foodwise if we have social stuff but better exercise wise as we often hit the park, walk down the beach and I get to leave the kids home with DH whilst I go for a walk/run. However this weekend we have a BBQ that should be a little blow out but not OTT.
Loss of 150g for me this week.....hope I can get moving a bit more with more light at night! xx
Well, so far for me a bad start - ate like a piggy on Thursday then went out with work for a function and scoffed Thai food and drank lots of alcohol including shots :-/ )I haven't drunk shots since before being pg with my DD).... anyway back on it today. GL to everyone for the rest of the week.
Just a quick update - I think the scales are FINALLY moving for me. I jumped on this morning for a quick check and I think they are a touch under 64K now so I'm pretty happy - I think it's been a good couple of years since I was in the 63's (not that being pregnant was really gonna help me get under lol). I hope they continue to move and that I can actually post a loss this coming week :)
I finally did some exercise - yay! Actually it's a bit of a yay for just leaving the house. I've gone back to week 2 of C25k. 3.10km in 30min. Not great, not bad. I figure anything is better than nothing. I really need to do some yoga though. this mummy tummy is depressing.
Food wise I haven't been too bad. The benefit f being gluten free is I can't eat Macca's or things like that. I do need to make some healthy snack things though.
Hi Ladies, hope everyone is having a good week so far, only a couple of days til our next check in!
A so/so week for me so far. Eating hasnt been the best, but still keeping up the exercise. Last night before I picked DD up, I ran 5 laps around the footy oval, and also walked another 5. Took about half an hour, not sure how far that would be, anyone know how far it is around a footy oval???? DH is on night shift this week, so I am pretty good of a night time when he is not around, as I am happy to have a lite n easy meal, whereas he likes his meat and veg massive serves.
LionsandBears - love the new name and avi! And I hear ya on the depressing mummy tummy, I hate that I have to tuck my tummy into my pants, lol! Haha, that sounds worse than it really is!
xo
Sorry ladies been MIA with DD's birthday and my mum being here.
Food wise has not been great the last week so will be back on track this week and working towards my goals... it's all looking up :)
Hi Gals, I have done my best so far in the whole.... 6 weeks( terrible I know). I went to tummys hips and thighs last night and today I did interval training on my bike.
Food wise its not great. DD1 has been vomiting all night/day and DD3 has the runs, so I have just queezed in food... albeit healthy!
Tash... love the new name x o
Lol at tucking your tummy into your pants. I don't think I have a mummy tummy (definitely not if it is something that needs tucking into your pants :p). I have a giant bum instead. :)
Pretty happy here. Food and exercise has been good. AND I fit into my size 12 pants! Woohoo. Just one dress size to go  Hopefully my weight will be close to 71kg on Thursday :crossfingers:
Hi guys. I have totally fallen off the wagon and pretty much ate my way through the weekend. And now AF is here. Feeling fat and frumpy. Got to the gym yesterday and hoping for today as well. Time to get back on track.
I have had a crappy week too. Expecting a gain this week. Trying to get back on track today.
((Hugs)) krysalyss & mm, I too have had a crappy week - exercise been pretty good but food & alcohol, terrible! I just put it all behind me this morning and am starting over.
I've been struggling for motivation a bit lately.
I feel like I've been plugging away for ever and getting nothing much except an hour of pain 6 times a week.
I ran/walked 8km in 52 minutes today and while I was on the treadmill I read an article about celebrity weights  Turns out Elle McPherson is 30cms taller than me and weighs less :o
That can't seriously be healthy for Elle though! Don't judge yourself on others Onyx. Have you been measuring as well as weighing/
The scales aren't going down a whole lot for me, but the tape measure says I've lost a couple of cms from tummy, hip and thigh.
It has to be a misprint - it would make her BMI 17 and even though she's slender she's not scary thin.
I know that I shouldn't compare myself to other people but confronted with 2 pages of vital statistics it's hard not to.
Ok - checking in - weight today 75.6kg so 400g off start weight.
So disappointed, back to 95.4 :( BUT i am aware of why, with DD1's birthday last week, LOTS of naughty foods, softdrink, alcohol and very little exercise.
So tomorrow i will be walking before the library, today will be fruit as snacks and a sandwich for lunch with lots of veggies for tea.
Might try and get the bike happening again aswell.. I WILL reach my goal :)
Phew! I've only put on 100g, which is way less then I was expecting. I'm annoyed at myself for slipping last week, but pleased that I haven't done as much damage as I was expecting. I need to do grocery shopping, so going to sit down and do a meal plan and proper shopping list before I head off. *I will not go down the chocolate isle, I will NOT go down the chocolate isle...* :crossfingers:

"When you discover it's your choice and your attitude, things start to happen!"
My weight this morning is 71.2kg, so another 800g loss. That makes 4.2kg so far. I am also down another cm each off my waist and hips and .5cm off my thighs.
I just bought a size 10 gold silk SABA dress off ebay to wear to a wedding at the end of November, so I can't slack off now. Should be fine, I can JUST squeeze myself into another size 10 dress I already own... give me a few more weeks and it will be perfect. :)
Onyx, I was reading an article about Victoria Beckham's post baby diet at the gym the other day. It was something like 600 calories a day. She was back to 45kg in like 6 weeks. What the? I weighed more than that when I was 12. Celebrities are freaks and I wouldn't want to look like many of them anyway.
MM, good luck avoiding the chocolate aisle. I still have chocolate because DH likes it, I just don't eat it until he does cause he is really good at rationing it. You definitely don't get more than a serving when he has control of the block of chocolate. :)
Stayed the same this week. Seriously have lost the plot
:hide: OK, so I fell off the wagon but I’m back now. I got a terrible throat infection and was really sick :boohoo: and I didn’t run for two weeks, TWO WHOLE WEEKS. Anyway, I’m back running again now but I’ve put on 800g. Just to recap, I started at 72kg, got to 67kg (which was my conservative goal) and am back up to 67.8kg with a new goal of 65kg. I’ve got my 10km fun run on Sunday 6th November and I’m hoping to do it in less than 80 minutes. I’m still not eating as well as I would like but I’m heading in the right direction. Change is a process not an event! :D
500g gain for me this week which I'm pretty bummed about because my bub has been teething and I thought I would have lost at least 3kg with all the breastfeeding and stress. My friends having a trial run for their new organic wood-fired pizza stall last night didn't help. On the positive side I've had heaps of compliments again this week and virtual strangers telling me how well I look. Yay!
So, my current weight is 64.8kg, my goal weight is 60kg and my total loss so far is 2.2kg. My approach so far has been pretty relaxed so I'm going to amp things up from now on. Next week I want to see a 3 after the 6 - I don't even care what the number is after that 3. By the end of the month I'd like to be at 62, giving me the whole of November to lose those last two kg.
Onyx, they say the camera packs on the kgs and I bet Elle would actually look really emaciated if you saw her on the street. I personally wouldn't want to be that skinny and certainly wouldn't want the deprivation needed to get that way either.
Ausgirl, good work with the 400g loss. So nice when the scales move in the right direction
Zarava Flutterby, you WILL reach your goal - shame there are so many temptations and distractions to knock us off the wagon
munchkin_mumma, meal planning is a great idea - saves you lots of money and wastage too
Manhattan, thanks so much for taking over the list and keeping us on track. You legend!
berrme, you are inspirational! Can't wait to fit into a size 10 again.
RhiChiChi, nothing gained means nothing extra to lose
Epacris, glad you're feeling better. Only 2.8kg to go! You'll run that off in no time. Good luck on Sunday
Still on this wagon- just
64kg today
I havent weighed in yet... just finished night shift and am going to crash.... might have to leave my weigh in for Sunday as Im working again tonight :)
