-
I'm in! I have to do something about this terrible gut of mine! Sit-ups would be less painfull than surgery LOL
I will go do my 50 now!
-
Good to see some late joiners!!!! keep it up girls..... DAY THREE FOR me today and I'm done!!! YAY !!!!
-
4 months should b fine, but don't push yourself to hard you will personally know how hard to push your own body more than anyone, the lower ab muscles will be where you feel the pulling the most.
My normal ab workout is - circuits of 3 x 20 reps - crunches - side crunches - crunches with twist both sides - lower abs so raising straight legs up and down, but your back has to stay flat on ground or it will hurt. If you can't do straight leg then bend your knees but give atleast 1 or 2 straight legs a try every time and add to it till you can do them all straight leg. These r best for those who had a c section!
-
Thanks!! I will start as day one today then! Off to do it now as both kids are sleeping!!!! :-)
-
Nice work girls!
Thanks JacciPG... I tried that today and it felt like less of a strain on my neck.
-
I challenge you to do the 'plank' for your next 'ab exercise'. Proven to be the best way to flatten your ab's :D!
-
Day two complete here!
Leesa- more plank details please? I know how to do one, but what do you recommend on how to turn it into a challenge?
-
Yeah, more details on this "plank" please
Feel so good I thought id throw in an extra 20 :)
-
Ohhh the plank!!!!
My husband the little smartty pants can do the plank for 11 minutes!!!!! I get to 4 minutes and I shake prefusly (sp??)
You lie on the floor flat and lift your top half up onto you elbow then up on your toes keep your butt down you need to keep your body flat ( hence why it is called a plank) suck your guts in and brace your stomach, when I started I was lucky to get to 20 seconds, but keep trying and slowly increase your time if u can it's an awesome exercise!!!!!
Google it if you don't understand :)
-
Well i got to 40 yesterday and couldnt do anymore- so im not sure how i will go today!!! What am i supposed to do with my hands? Have them behing my head or by my side??? To be honest i cheated a few times and used them on my legs to help me sit up!!!!
-
This sounds awesome and something i am VERY interested in doing :)
Those who have been doing it for a few weeks do you see any changes in your stomach??
-
Starbright - I normally put mine behind my head otherwise i cheat and use them to help me up!!
-
I slide mine up my legs to my knees as I sit up, helps me stay focused on my tummy muscles better.
KM, most of us only started a few days ago. Mainly pain at this stage!
-
Done my 50 :) It started to burn when i got to 30 but i kept going and my tummy is hurting now, good sign!
