What kind of school do your children go to?

My kids are in private school, ELC3 (or 3 year old kinder :)) to year 12. They go to another campus about 20 mins away for years 11 and 12. I chose the school (and this campus specifically) because it is small and I like the ethos. We have about 350 kids from ELC3 - Year 10. It is a small, caring community and I feel my kids are very safe there (in every sense of the word!). Our local public schools are huge and I've heard some pretty poor reviews about them. I wasn't very impressed when I went to look at them, for a variety of reasons.

I love the kids school, although I don't much love the fees! :lol: My kids are both very happy at the school, they can't wait to get there in the morning and they want to stay and play in the afternoon. I'm very comfortable leaving them there. It's the right choice for us :D

Hmmm, tricky to answer. I have one child in a private school and another in a public one... but since we are planning to move to another town and enrol all the kids in the same private system: I selected that.

The local public primary school has been ok... but I wasn't keen on the hot temporary classrooms, the bare dirt playground and the canteen that sold mainly junk food, and the very relaxed uniform standards. The teachers were great though and if we were staying put he would have done ok there academically.

Private country schools are much cheaper than city ones thankfully :) And they have similar, if not better standards (from what I have seen so far).

DS starts school next year and will be going to a public primary school which we are zoned too. Just so happens that it is the best primary school in the region so we are very lucky.

We just got our interview appt letter for ds' school next year (for prep)
I can't believe it's come around so fast.

My kids go to public schools. My girls go to a country school with about 100 kids and my son goes to the local high school with about 400 students.
