And the eldest is nearly 60 and my mum is 42 and she is the youngest..

my mum is the youngest of 7 to the same parents. she is 54 next mth. Im not sure exactly how old the eldest is..but they are all still alive:

My mum had a stillborn bub between us, he would have been 21 this year.
I'm part of a double blended family so there are lots of us, how many, nobody is actually 100% sure, there are 8 of us that we definitely know of ranging in age from late 60s to 40s, 2 that we're pretty sure are siblings and no idea if there are any more (but knowing those involved, there would be).
im one of 6 4 sisters and 1 bro. my mums one of 17 and dads one of 11 x

Lots of blended and patchwork families, this is so interesting. Are people close to their sibilings? Are you good mates or very different personalities?
I have one younger brother, he's 27. He's adopted - gorgeous tall blonde with blue eyes, I'm dark-haired and short. I love (erm - smother?) him to bits.
I would have adored more sibilings, but the grass is always greener right?
I'm the eldest, I have a 34 yo sister and a 31 yo brother.
Quite a few of you do have big families.. I always wanted brothers and sisters growing up, but was the only child, but my best friend who lived 3 doors down was one of 6. We used to want to swap families lol.. I always wanted to sleep over at her house, but she always wanted to sleep over at mine lol.
It's also nice how some of you have mentioned your angel siblings. I hope Button does that when s/he's older :)

I have two older brothers, one is 6yrs older the other is 7.5yrs older. But I class myself as a single child since neither have anything to do with me, and one has nothing to do with the entire family!!:

I have an older brother who is 44 (he has a different Dad to me, mum married when she was 21, already pregnant with my brother haha but he hubby died when my brother was 3 months old, his dad was only 21 aswell when he died so that's why mum had one child with a different father but I cosider my brother my "full" brother)

My parents are still married so no step sisters/brothers here (sadly wont be the same for my children growing up, but it's quite normal these days having combined families after divorce)

I have one younger sister - she's 27 this year. There's only 22 months difference between us. (kinda gives my age away, doesn't it...:rolleyes:)
I have 2 younger brothers. Age gap is 6 years between me and my brother. Mum had severe endometriosis, was about to start looking at IVF (which was quite new back then) or adotion. Had a laproscopy, fell pregnant, had my baby brother and then had my next brother 17 months later. Obviously didn't think she would fall pregnant and did.
