You would however, have to ensure the flavour wasn't affected :o

milk and honey or raw sugar. Sometimes frozen berries so they melt into it.
I'm going to make some in the morning when I get up early for work yum yum
I think that the consistency makes a big difference. I like mine runny while some like it so thick you can stand the spoon upright in it.
Love Love Love it here.
I usually have it with honey and warm milk Yummy :inlove:
I like it with banana, oat milk and honey, but I dont' eat it that much as I LOVE toast :p I think oats is much healthier though and if I could walk past the toaster I'd eat oats every day
blerch! not for me. DH eats it and will give DD a go when he makes it next. Hope she doesn't like it cos i'm not gonna make it, it stinks  (need a better vomit pic)
Yay.. With honey or brown sugar and lots of milk.. Yummy.. My Grandmother used to make it for me :)
I love love love porridge and have it the proper Scottish way - with SALT! And lots of it :D
We love our oaties, have them at least 5 times a week. Imogen likes chopped banana and honey, I just like it plain.
I do prefer Carmens Oats. Yes more expensive, but Aussie owned, not GMO, just all natural goodness. If money is tight, then I grab Lowens.
I might have to give them a whirl, Astrid. I haven't seen them at the shops but the shop gets in just about anything you ask for so it's worth a shot.
i drown mine in golden syrup, and then tell myself i'm being really healthy having such a 'good' breakfast
Coles have Carmen's Oats, but Woolworths don't from what I can tell, even though they have the other Carmans cereals. Black box, normally on the top shelf.
Count me in.
Has to be made with all cream milk and I serve it with full fat cream and some blueberry jam. Because I'm such a health nut.
I used to buy rolled oats. Now I'm a fan of the Be Natural 3 Grain sachets (oats, rye and barley). I often have two sachets and I don't think about food again for hours and hours and hours. If I just have toast or cereal, I'm a raving starving lunatic again by 11am.
Actually, all oats are GMOs. All cultivated crops are. Just because they were genetically modified over generations by selective breeding doesn't mean they haven't been genetically modified. (OK, this is just me being pedantic and geeky.)
I have it many mornings for brekky at work.
a small amount of oats, water, 10 sultanas and a teaspoon of honey when it's cooked.
yum!
