Im a good mum/dad because

i'm about this close to taking it all back after otnights performance!

I am a good mum because i put my children first
I am a good mum because i don't mind the mess aslong as DD's having fun
I am a good mum because i love my kids for who they are.. even if DD2 is a velcro bub and a PITA... :rofl:
I am a good mum because i have learnt to cook 1 handed, hold a baby, entertain a toddler and still get tea on the table
I am a good mum because i know that i am not perfect, my children are not perfect but we are who we are and thats all that matters
I am a good mum because i am proud of my children and see the funny side of things YES she drew on the wall but man what a drawing it was :rofl:

I am a good mum because even when we burn DD's cookies or cake i eat it and tell her how nice it is
I am a good mum because i allow DD to 'mix' teh cake and eat it out of the bowl WHILE i'm still mixing

DP is a good dad because:
he works his butt off to support us
he takes DD1 on the motorbike cos she likes it
he lets her play with his tools even though their expensive
he calls when he's on a boys w/end just to talk to his girls.

I'm a good mum just because I AM!!

Im a good mum because although i work 5 days a week (from 6:30am to 6:30pm) i still have the energy (or pretend to) to make dough with DD, play playdough, painting, and origami everynight and then read to her when she sleeps (the same book mind you "The big pony race") and scratch her back until she falls asleep every night.

In return, my DD is just the sunshine of our lives, she is so well mannered and even when im sick (with gastro at the moment) she looks after me and doesnt complain and even sleeps with me when i need to rest for hours and hours and hours).

Im just so blessed =)

I am a good mum because I will let DS be what he is and nurture him....not try and make him be what he isn't.

I am a good Mum because I tell my babies I love them every day

altho most days i feel like the worst mum in the world, im still here, the kids are still noisily happy, so thats got to count for something...
i am a good mum because, im willing to admit when im wrong,
im more then happy to leave the house dirty when the kids want me to watch a movie or play cars with them
im more then happy to lay down and pretend to nap when bubba girl is overtired but wont give in
im a good mum as i just spent more on new shoes for the boys then ive spent on my own shoes in 2 yrs!!! only as they realy REALY wanted the expencive ones (and needed new ones!)

df is a good dad because he knows when ive had enough and can take over bed time, dinner ect
hes a good dad because like today, has taken one son out so the more naughty one is behaved and *hopefully* learns to stop back chatting!
hes a good dad when mums had enough he gets up and does the early morning bottles
and hes been even better lately doing some housework, telling me hes accepted my lazyness!!
