    Best Gluten Free Bread Mix

I'm helping out my friend who is GF, and I have given her my breadmaker. I will be doing some shopping and cooking for her, so I wonder if anyone can help me out with the best GF bread mix. Best as in taste and reliability.

    Many thanks.

I will ask my SIL which one she makes but I think she gets the mix from Coles.

She does alot of GF cooking to cater for her sister & BIL

My mum is coeliac, I make her the Laucke one from Coles. Comes in a white box in the health food aisle. Mum likes the 'meals and grains' one, and often I add extra seeds. It works well in the bread maker, I do find that I need to check at the mixing stage and ensure all the flour has collected into the dough, but I find that with all bread in the bread maker! I make it on the 'yeast free' program.

Be careful with the bread maker if it's been used previously to make regular bread.

We use a mix from spring hill farm. We order online. We love it and as a wheat eater I can stand eating it too. It bakes better the traditional way. They have 3 types our favourite being the fruit loaf. Delicious.

Eta - I can't bake to save my life but I've not met an inedible loaf yet with this mix.

Thank you for that note, I would have forgotten about that! My friend knows your machine has been used before to make non-GF dough and she is happy to use it. Whilst she is coeliac, she is naughty sometimes and does have food with gluten in it. Like cake..... And her mother doesn't help her, she invites her for dinner when they're having (store bought) chicken schnitzel of all things!
