That sounds great littlelara! I knitted a beanie but think it will be way to small! (even for a wee little newborn) LOL maybe if I have a girl when can have it for a doll or something. I ended up going ahead and buying loads of crystal gem stone beads to make jewellery out of. I have made one thing :doh: BUT I will be making more as winter creeps in :D Especially necklaces for DS, the amber one looks so cute on him I'm going to make a few more with amber in them and other gem stones for stuff like sleeping!! yeahhhh that would be nice, more sleep!

I do patchwork quilting. I've been making DD a fairy quilt for the last 3 years (I did make a baby blanket for DS in between though). I just lost motivation about half way through, so much fiddly work because all the fairies and flowers etc. are so small. For a time it only came out when I had an assignment due as a form of procrastination, but I'm on the home stretch now. Just have to put on a couple of butterflies and stitch around the toadstools and I'm ready to start binding.
