Actually, you can add a buy it now for a short while after listing the item, but it wouldn't end the auction early. I think she's lying
-
Hun we had a similar issue with an item we tried to purchase, there is an online helpdesk where you can get immediate advice, jump on there and ask. As far as I'm aware she should have put buy it now on when listing the item not after it's already listed even so with buy it Now if you were bidding and won the item and it went cheaper than the buy it Now price it's still yours. It's only if shed put a reserve but again she can do all of that really easily when listing the item. You won it fair & square by the sounds of it, I'd be' disputing it! Sounds to me' like she has someone willing to pay more, maybe someone emailed and said they'd pay a certain amount if she put it as buy it now.
-
I spoke to live help they pretty much said they cant force her to send the item & im welcome to leave negative feedback if left unresolved!!
-
I think it clearly states in the rules and regulations that once you have recieved a bid you cannot change anything except add details or photo's. I am a seller on ebay and this is what it said to me when I went to put a Buy it now price down. I didn't realize I had a bid on the item and I thought ah well no biggy.. It should have been done properly in the first place.. You won the auction so you should get the pram, It is not your fault they stuffed up
Def take up a dispute with ebay.. and they shouldn't be able to leave neg feedback either
-
-
How rude. You would think they would just want to resolve the issue.. Hope you can get it worked out (and get the pram)
-
You wont get it. As sucky as it is I would just let it go & accept you wont get it. BUT still put in the dispute & complain. Neg feedback & hopefully have banned for at least a little bit. But yeah, accept now that you wont get teh pram.
-
RD... I think she's sold it to someone else. If she's ignoring you, then I'd say that is what she was doing, trying to "rig" the sale. What a massive pain and the wrong thing to do!
-
what a bugger!! Oh well, back to searching for a stokke!
-
Definitely give her negative feedback though hun, that's just not fair!
-
Make sure you give her neg feedback and explain in your feedback what happened. If you leave feedback first, she can write anythign in yours and make you look bad too.
-
How long should I wait before leaving the feedback??
-
Wait till it is sorted through ebay.. Or at least till after the weekend..
-
Oh how frustrating!!!
I have it from the other end at the momnet, someone bought my item ($700 worth :o) and now won't pay grrrrrr!!!
Definitely go onto the Live Help through EBAY, I did it this afternoon and they were sooo helpful, literally chatting with you there and then, they even retracted some fee's off my account due to be screwed over by a twat who isn't paying and hasn't contacted me. You can opena Dispute as well, I did that before I chatted with Live Help :)
You can change an auction to a BIN and auction, BUT what it does it restarts the auction again, but it can't be done once bids are in place.
-
You have only a certain amount of time to lodge a complaint and this is done before ebay look into things. So give it over the weekend to see what happens and the dispute it next week. Once you have lodged a complaint then wait see what happens, let ebay sort it and then leave neg feedback.
-
With Selling we can start a dispute after 4 days on non payment, then it can last for a minimum of four days to give the buyer a chance to pay up, after that the disput can be close or continue for up to 32 days in total.
-
With the advice of 2 different live help representative's I have left negative feedback!
-
:D
Mine will be getting a Unpaid strike against there account ;)
