Hey Trini! Welcome!! I am getting extremely excited :) i cant wait to meet my bub! I bet your getting excited TTC soon (or have you started already??)
Ash: we wanted 2 get Bella starting swimming asap, its fun and good 4 her, and helps her in the long run! It's prob the best 2 wait till bubs is born b4 he starts swimming lessons! hahahahaha
I have a feeling jess is pushing!!!
Hey Trini good luck with TTC! Being pg and motherhood is the most amazing thing in the world and im excited 4 u!!!!!
noo im still here lol... :(
got docs appoint at 9am 2morrow so hopefully i will have some good news in the arvo!
welcome trinni!
well i better head to bed, 9am is early 4 me atm haha
Goodluck at docs appt tomorrow Jess..u wont be sleeping in much longer!! :( i miss sleep ins
Kass DD was a bit hesitant at first at swimming lessons i think cos it was a new environment cos she loves it in DF uncles pool. she doesnt like going on her back though!! how did Annabelle go?
Meg - good to hear bubs isnt breach anymore!
welcome Trini all the best on ur TTC journey
i have my glucose BT tomorrow morning, cant be bothered sitting there for 2hrs!! guess i get to relax without DD for 2hrs :P
Blanche - That sucks about the GD test tomorrow, where are you having it??
Jess, good luck with your appointment for tomorrow. COME ON JAYLEN!!! Get outta there already! :D
Trini - I get to find out what we're having on Friday so I'm quite excited, I have a feeling that we're having a girl.. I would prefer a boy but we already have a girl's name picked out and can't decide on a boy's name anyway! So I guess whatever happens.
Ours wasn't planned, so that makes it quite difficult for us financially, but we'll cope..
Hey Emma, good luck with the scan! Hopefully bub cooperates so you can find out! Our little bubba wasn't planned either, but we're doing ok so far, of course things will change once bubs arrives, but don't stress and i'm sure things will work out ok for you.
Blanche, good luck with your GD test - did you have the first one already? I get confused as to why some people have GCT then the GTT and others just have the GTT straight away. I wish i could have done the second one straight off, would have saved one hour and a half trip at path.
Anyhow. About to burst - i swear my bladder fills instantly, so i better be off! :)
We havent really started TTC but we havent really been preventing it either (if you know what I mean) :p atm we are just taking it all as it comes :D
Awww that must be soo exciting for you & i hope that you get the boy that your after :D but just a healthy baby would be awesome aswell!
Yeah if I was UTD atm it would be a little unplanned coz we havent worked anything out yet but as you said you would just find a way to cope!
Ok going to try and do some personals as i've been a little slack lately....
Hi Trini & welcome to our little group, as its been mention were very chatty!. Good luck on your TTC journey, i hope its short & sweet.
Meg- oh so exciting to be buying bubbies stuff next week.
Sally- i hope your enjoying your time in Melb & getting lots of shopping in.
Blanche & Kass- nice one on getting your DD into swimming at an early age. I'd like to get Sophie started early also, which is a while off yet.
Blanche- good luck at the glucose test.
Jess- Good luck at your dr appt, i hope they have some good news for you.
Emma- oh so exciting to be finding out the sex of your bubba, i remember when i was going for mine GOD that was September how time has flown its February & i have a 12day old baby
Ash- your bladder will feel alot more fuller yet. The morning i went into labour i felt like i had 2 pee constantly (which i didnt) so watch out haha.
Ok i think i got everyone, if i missed anyone i'm sorry i'll catch you next time.
Haha Jo, it's ok we understand, you do have a newborn to look after and all... :D
Well after my exhausted and needing to nap all day yesterday, i was right, i didn't sleep last night...
Time dragged on til 5am where i think i finally got some shut eye til 7:30 and then maybe an hour between 9 and 10. Now comes the keeping myself awake today so i can sleep tonight...!
Ash- haha, i know but i feel bad as i dont post as often as i'd like. Sophie's a good baby so i get to log on here and read the posts, but sometimes that takes a while ;) and i dont get to reply to the posts.
Hello and Welcome Trini!!! Goodluck TTC!! *sending baby dust*
Sal, I don't mind the walk :)
Kass, WooHooo Swimming lessons, sounds like fun!!
Jo, WooHoo! for a good baby :) How are you going? Fitting into motherhood well?
Emma, good luck with your scan :)
Sorry if I missed anyone, brendan is playing up, so i need to get out of this cafe!!
Having fun, loving it
k dont have time 2 do 2 many personals ill b back later though.
Emma- Baby trust me it all works out, clint and i were in no shape 2 have a bubs and only when Bella was about 4 months old did he get his bum in2 gear and get a better job (hes old one wasnt paying him, 4 the work he did)
Everything falls in2 place just remember u guys r incontrol of what happen and honestly i dont think a bubs costs that much as they grow they do but u dont notice u just buy what u need 2 at the time. If u need some horror stories on finaces 2 make ur situation look better just ask me, i have enough. The thing is we were having trouble and then relised that we're in control and it was all up 2 us 2 fix it and make life easier, it's all good now, better then ever but it's about f@%!ing time, hahahaha
i was sure i had posted in this thread! oh well!
hi trini! good luck ttc!
Jess: how did the appt go?
hi every1 else, em is wriggling so bbs ;)
Trini - there's a fair flogging few of us - some people pop their heads in and never come back though! so stay with us!
sally, joanne, cate, jade, tali, nina & me all started off chatting in another thread... and then they made us this one especially (cos we're so chatty and all) - so now we have meg, kass, blanche, jess, ali, tenny, antheia, danni, ashlee, lizjessie, mo, renee, ryn, becky, leasha, jess84, hayley, banx, emma, regan...
hmm i've more than likely missed a few people - but, like i said, a fair few!
You missed me!!!

Sorry I havent been posting much the last couple of days, been really busy and Ive got these horrible cramps in the upper half of my left leg.
Kass - Hope alls going well with the swimming and the gym
Emma - How exciting to find out what you're having, I cant wait to know what we are having.
Sally/Kass/Ash- I dont mind the walk either. Are we bringing our own lunches, etc or going to the cafe?
Jo - Sounds like everything is going well with Sophie
Jess- Good luck with your appointment. How was it?
Meg - Have fun shopping for bubby stuff
Sorry if I missed anyone
Oh dear :( I am sorry Sal!!!!!!!! :(
I'm sure i had you written in there when i started...
I sorry!
yay sal ur over the hump of pg 12 wks!!! I hope its all smooth sailing from here on in!!!
Dont mind the walk, ummmm maybe it should depend on how many of us there is weather or not we go 2 a cafe, some wont really fit lots of us, but if it's a small group im a coffee lover so a cafe would b good!
trini where r u in vic?
Sally- I'm going really well thanks, i'm fitting into motherhood better than i expected. MIL is at the airport on her way home. I tried to catch you on MSN earlier but you didnt repsond. Glad your having fun and enjoying your time in Melb.
wow there sounds like theres alot of youngsters in here :D dont stress i plan to grace you with my presence until i get too old (which will never happen) hahaha :)
Im from Bendigo (which is like an hr & a half from melb) what about u?
Trini you should join us for our meet-up in the city (if you can make it) it's on fri feb 15th and by the sounds of it we're going to meet at fed square and then tram up to botanical gardens.
im in geelong (well just out of) and kass is ballarat i think?
hi!
well to cut a long story short im getting induced at 5pm on thurs! YAY finally! its what i wanted but now im scared... its an actual DATE lol!!
That's fantastic news Jess. Try to keep your anxiety down so when you are induced labour is hopefully a bit smoother for you! Are you getting a drip or having your waters broken? or what?!?!!!! Come on give us the goss!
Goodluck on Thurs Jess!
wow thats awesome Jess :D
I would love to come with u ladies but unfortunately i gotta work that day coz the bosses have gone away for a couple of weeks before uni starts back (which is good for me coz i could do with the money) :p
omg!!!!! how exciting jess it's weird thinking no matter what ur garenteed 2 b a mummy on thursday or friday!!!! yay!!!
ash - not sure they just said im having the gel 1st and see how that goes, then the drip if the gel hasnt done much!
kass - i know pretty exciting! and scary hehe...
WOOHOO Jess!! i bet your really excited!!
I just went shopping and i bought some clothes..and i was just looking at what i bought, and i have somehow managed to buy 10 pairs of socks for bub...oops, bit much, but i guess they loose their socks easily..so wont be too much of a drama..right?? lol..not like they were expensive or anything though...
Ash - i had to just have the GTT one cos im overweight so they just send me straight for the full one! sucks but its over now i was so tired and bored..took 2 ladies to find a vein and then had to use the same one for all 3 BT my arm is aching now!! i nearly fell asleep sitting in the chair...
Meg -i just had it done down here in mandurah at blood place
Jess - wow ur little man is going to be here very soon!!
sorry cant do all personals atm gotta go get dinner organised!
mmmmmm......dinner.......
Im hanging for my roast to finish cooking:D
i don't understand why they can't use the other arm!!!
Argh i had my gct on the wednesday and then the gtt on the friday, and i was like, jesus, four tests one arm, seriously?!!!!! i look like i've been shooting up... it's quite yucky!
Oh Sal i'm jealous, i don't have the energy to do roasts at the moment... and i'm not sure if i've mentioned before but my oven sounds like a jet plane and i'm too scared to use it. i swear the previous tenants must never have used the oven, either that or they've buggered it somehow when they were clenaing and moving stuff out.
Hehe that's what i was thinking...
Ash - Ive got a george foreman roaster, it is so easy, throw in the meat set the timer, micowave poatoes and pumpkin for 10 mins, then throw in the roaster for 45 mins, and do your vegies how you want. If I had to use the oven I wouldnt bother, too much effort and too much cleaning up afterwards.
George Foremans are the best & easiest way of cooking :) well clean up wise & the easy way of cooking! :D
