Just wanted to send you hugs. I have pretty severe endo so I guess I am "the reason" we are having trouble conceiving. I spent a lot of time blaming my body for failing me and losing self worth over this. Not anymore. Sorry you are going through it, but you sound like a proper devoted husband and father, which is all that matters. I mean, I know of a few guys who can easily get a girl pregnant and then just ditch her, do you know what I mean?

Glad to hear you and your wife are enjoying life with your little girl.
I have had trouble conceiving and have had multiple losses (my fault). There was once a time that the guilt of not being able to conceive and stay pregnant was extremely overwhelming especially when my DH didn't have any biological children (I had one from a previous relationship). Now I am pregnant with our last baby the past really doesn't matter. It took us the long way around and we are very fortunate to have got there eventually and be blessed with the amount of children we both wanted.
I am sure your wife is absolutely thrilled to have you by her side and receive the support it sounds like you have given her (and her to you I assume). Some of us have a harder time then others to have a family but I think it many cases it makes you a better parent for it.

Ok here goes... lmao... This is just unbelievable, ok so my wife and i went in to see our fertility specialist 2 weeks ago to book in for our next cycle, and had decided that we would start a cycle this month, we had both mentally prepared ourselves for the emotional roller coaster that we all know it is. My wife has been really irritable, more than normal for the week before last week and thought nothing of it, just as a joke today i said to her go and do a bloody pregnancy test cause your acting like your pregnant, so im in the lounge room as its my day off today and laughing as she goes to the toilet. Well she comes out of the toilet holding a pregnancy test and says, IT HAS 2 LINES!!! Im like WTF!!! So we have been to the docs to get the hcg levels done, now we are nervously waiting to see if its viable! Wasn't expecting this when i woke up this morning!! I have everything crossed and hope that when i get some numbers tomorrow i can give out some amazing news... I dont want to get to excited but this could be a miracle!!!:pray:

Ok... to say we are shocked is an understatement! This is something we never thought could happen. We got the hcg levels - 1120!!!!! Naturally we have never had a number that high.... We are booked in for our 6 week scan.. wow wee!!!

We had a 6 week scan done last week and got to see a heartbeat. We still can't believe it!! Had all the measurements done and they are identical measurements to our little girl at her 6 week scan. Excited is an understatement, we just have our fingers and toes crossed it continues! Sending luck to everyone!!!

So today we had our 12 week scan, my wife has had really bad morning sickness again but has these magic waffers and they have helped quite a lot so she tells me. As for the scan everything has come back with fantaatic results. This 1 is little bigger than our first. We have just finished telling our family and close friends and everyone is just so happy. I personally feel like we have one the lotto and am so grateful for what we have. I read some of the posts on this forum and feel for people going through the same but different problems to all end up with the same outcome of a little bundle of joy and hope that my posts about what we have personally been through can just show miracles can happen and to stay strong. Sometimes the negatives can make it so hard to see a positive. So good luck to all and hope u get your lotto win!
So we are now 23 weeks along, had the 20 week scan couple of weeks ago and got to see the little 1. So far so good, the lady that did the ultrasound was very happy with the results! Because of the issues with the placenta with the first pregnancy they checked the flow in and out of the placenta and were very happy. They couldn't say if we were going to have the same issues again but was good to know everything was normal up to now. All the measurements were nearly identical to our little girl but they look completely different!! I don't care if its a boy or girl as long as its healthy. As this year comes to an end and new year starts just hope everyones wishes come true and everyone gets their own happy story.

Morning all, so my wife is now 33 weeks and up until yesterday everything seemed to be going well, my wife felt very limited movement so went to hospital for a check up. Once we were there found that she was having contractions. Ob has given her steroid injection for the baby and another 1 today to develop the lungs some more and also medication to stop her contractions and labour also starting. I'm really scared about having another premature baby as its really hard work and this new bub is wanting to come out and its even earlier... my wifes really upset that she feels shes just not a good incubator. I just want a safe outcome for both of them. I was put in a really weird situation last night leaving the hospital as i had to go home and look after our little girl and leave my wife there, pre our first baby i would of just stayed the night with her at the hospital. Just felt weird not being there. Anyway today is a new day and hopefully things settle down and can get some more time into this new bub cooking away and i can have both my girls at home again. Time will tell, good luck to all and will be in touch.
