Have ya ever heard of the saying "Fake it till you make it"?
Its kind of a mini motto here in my house, i could have written ur posts over and over again months ago, but i had to just take a step out and take a huge breath.
I ignore all behaviour that doesnt need attention, my kids all have jobs to do and yeah most times they dont do them, hubby and i still argue, but i started making a change a little bit each day!
My two year old is in the terriable two mode and yeah that is hard and it does my head in sometimes (u may have seen status updates on fb, the poop on the wall was the most recent lol) but if i need a time out i go hide in the loo! LOL
My kids all take their plates to the sink and im teaching my 9yr old how to cook, all my kids unstack the dishwasher and wash dishes, even my two yr old vacumes, he loves it, he doesnt do the best job, but he finds it fun and it keeps him entertained lol
I agree with a lot of the above posts, and we can all give advice and sugestions, but at the end of the day, its up to u to take that deap breath and take the first step, start faking that routine till it starts working!
Oh chickie - hugs to you.
I have times when it is all too much! I yell at my kids and my man and I just hate it - it's a horrible place to be. My answer for me - I just stop everything, ditch everything that is not life threatening and rebuild my relationships with my kids and hubby. I play with them, enjoy them until I realise that there is no other place in the world that I would rather be than in this crazy life with my crazy family!
May God bless you
Good for you hun.
Sometimes we can even find the tunnel let alone see the light!
