well soul he gave me the pill to stop it which it did last friday but yeah its back again

HI all - I hope I can join in with this thread - I notice most of you have more then three - but I want to post here more for the "blended" part. God I hate that term - blending is something you do with oil pastels, or food not people... anyway...

I recently went "bra" shopping with my 11 year old, and we went to a sushi restaurant afterwards. It was very special. She is not far from getting AF, she has a cycle of sorts now where she will get moody and crampy and tender, but not bleed.

Have any of you heard of a book called Celebrating Girls. Its brilliant. It talks alot about building relationships with your daughter by rituals and celebrations, as they enter different stages of their lives. I got a lot out of it, and are constantly referring to it. I think because I have estranged relationship with my own mother it was important for me to find ways to avoid it happening with my own daughter. I knew what I didn't want to do, but wasn't sure what TO do, iykwim...

Vicki, I had the same relatiosnhip with my mother and I so thrilled that my kids and I are not like this, .My son even asks me questions about stuff that i would never think BOY WOULD DO!!! But its special because he knows he has friend in me and I will not judge his thinking or thoughts! My 10 year old is such a tom boy and I have been fighting with her to start wearing a bra, she isnt shy orf them she just hates them lol, but we comprimised, I told her she can pick the bra and she picked one with bratz all over it!Happy as a pig in mud now!
