Hi Everyone, I know i haven't been on for days but we have had a lot going on.
Firstly Happy Fathers Day to all Dad's.
I haven't read back to see exactly what has been happening but i will shortly!
Well on Thursday i went for my second blood test and got a :bfp: :cryinglaugh:
So i can now officially say number 7 is on the way! At first we were both in shock, but now we are looking forward to our little bub coming. I know its going to be interesting at times but hey when is life not interesting in big families anyway
So i am off to the doc tomorrow to start the ball rolling as far as finding out when bub is due, yes playing dumb as i want an early ultrasound ;). I think i am around 6 wks or so which would make bub due towards the end of April.
Need to find out about the chances of a natural birth and also need to organise to see dietician ( gonna need all the help i can get as i didn't even get the chance to lose the weight from Mitchie). I had only just started doing situps every night to try and get my belly toned again after having c-sec, but oh well!
Hope everyone had a great day today, we went to see my Dad and then went to Dh's brothers for a campoven lunch, it was absolutley beautiful!!!
Ok now i am going to go and read what you ahve all been up to in the last few days
-
OMG that was a lot of reading!!!
Soul, so sorry to hear about what you just went through with Ashlen but so glad he is back home and getting better :hugs:
I also bought DH a guitar for fathers day, he got an Ibanez acoustic electric bass, except it hasn't arrived yet :( so had to put a pic in his fathers day card ;)
I am also going to be researching the whole vba2c as well since the last thing i want is another c-sec!!!!
Hey Gorgeouslea you know what they say, never say never ( refering to your comment about dtd two nights in a row but no chance of conception ) !!!! Trust me its always possible! DH and i thought we were more than safe and we now have number 7 on the way ;)
Hi to everyone else i know there was more that i wanted to say to some other ladies on here but i am having a pregnancy moment........... so untill next time
-
Congratulations Kat....must feel great to know its all official!!!!

I still don't get that really but hey we even got a congrats card ( never happend before) from my DH brother and sil. I think they are jsut happy that the pressure willbe off them for a bit longer, they only got married last year but so far on DH's side we are teh only ones out of four to have any children!!!!

Congratulations on the official BFP Kat :D
I'm home with a sick son today, so had to cancel going to the girls meet up in Ringwood, oh well, always next time.
-
hi guys had to work in the canteen this morning but now im chilling out as im coming down with a cold and this afternoon kate and courtney have dancing till 6.45 i hate mondays dinner is always late .anyway how was everyones weeekend?
-
Well DH said he doesn't want us ttc till at least next October, poo hoo! He siad he wants to let Pheen be the baby for a while and then I can have my way with him, mwah ha ha ha!!!I wanted to start ttc now but I do see his point and he thinks I wuld be stressed out to much with 2 kids under 2 and that I can enjoy each baby sepratley if I let them be the baby for at leats the first 2 years. I cant argue with that as I dont want to feel stressed all the time and without a spare hand, not fair on the babies or my dh and my relationship because I will never have time for just him and I .
So I will have to enjoy everyones else pregnancy.
I feels so sad now.

Hi cuties,
I had a great weekend, took bub & went to stay with a girlfriend. Drank many cups of tea AND had several glasses of wine, did lots of chatting! I had organized Father's Day in advance with pressies and then was home Sunday evening. Amazingly the house was quite clean.
Did food shopping today, just waiting for the babies to have their naps.

Hi girls it has been a busy weekend. My little guy was sick yesterday - he is better today but I am sooo tired. Today has been a write off! My hubby is cooking dinner (Thai) and I am hiberbnating in my room away from all the busyness. Hubby came home early from work and I managed to have a nap this arvo. Bliss.
Tell me about dentists here - hubby went today for a filling and it cost $250. Is that normal? In NZ is don't cost that much - does medicare cover anything? What about insurance?
-
Halltribe, sorry to tell you that that is within normal range for dentistry, especially if your dh had a large filling. No, Medicare does NOT cover any of it. If you have private insurance with dental cover, then it will be paid (at least partly paid) by your health fund. sniff, I KNOW.
Girls I do NOT do canteen! any more, that is. I used to when I had only two kids! I tell everyone including my kids, that it's impossible with little ones. It's a violation of health rules to have them in the canteen anyway. Also I hate the way that it eats up (pun!) four hours in the middle of the day.
-
Thanks Castle - I think I will have to put money aside especially for dentist bills! What about dental work/checkups for kids??
-
Nope, same. Not covered. Some dental care is provided by the states, in a very limited way, for very poor people. Don't hold your breath looking for that. Checkups are usually about $75-$100 for mine....for a cleaning, exam by the dentist, and a fluoride treatment. Dental care is very important to me so I don't mind that. It's cheaper to do that, than pay for dental bills later to fix problems.
-
Who's looking forward to summer?
-
halltribe we have a hospital dentists that the kids can use i cant but all school children can if its just a checkup then u have to wait but if its pretty urgent u can get in .my girls have been and there fine
-
I am looking forward to summer, hopefully all these colds & chest infections will bugger off!
-
storm thanks for replying. Me too, I have not been sick at all, not usually am, but the poor kids they are so over it!
-
My little 2 are sick, & now I am sick.I hate it, it's not like I can sleep all day long.
Roll on summer I reckon.
-
Oh poor little sweeties its so damn cruel!I most likley get that summer flu for being so ****y about not been sick this year. Karma I reckon!!!
-
he he I hope not for your sake, summer flu's are the worst!
-
Girls I walked into David Jones today and they are putting together the Christmas shop! Can you believe it?
-
omg already?????????? oh I am soooo excited, we had the worse christmas ever last eyar with my mother being gone and all, so this year it is going to be the bestest. Mind you I am still not finished yet, need more time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Oh NO!! That is scary. twice as bad, cos that means Angel will be 1
-
what already castle omg
its only sept we have a fwe birthdays yet to even worry about chrissy although ive got some money saved .chrissy just isnt the same anymore not like when were kids now its only about money
and whos got the best house lights
-
Ggrrrr house lights, I put mine on the inside, so we can relax & watch them lol
-
Not surprising that the decorations are up the sooner we get in to spend money that happier that shops are. Not really looking forward to chrisi well the stress over the money making sure theres enough to get through but what im really looking forward to is the week up rainbow beach of Fraser island we save all year for a great holiday house big enough for everyone. My one greatest dream is to be there for christmas day cant think of any thing better than to wake up to a bbq on the beach for christmas day. Not sure why we dont mainly so we dont **** everyone off we are the only ones in the family with kids (
DH side) so for his parents and his sis its a big deal infact they go over the top ( another drama)and my brother and sil and kids we dont even see maybe next year will bugger the lot and go.Well its raining here love it cant say the kids do it going to stick around its cheap tuesday at the video shop might go and check some movies out

Hi girls :D
I'm trying not to think about chrissy too much. With 7 kids to buy for this year its going to be harder than usual, but im looking for specials and picking up a few things off ebay lol
-
Ebay has been my only way and laybying at that big w sale they have till chrissy eve although.
-
I don't do the xmas eve layby things anymore, i was finding that what the kids liked this time of year, they didnt like by the time xmas came around !! I think i might just get them all play station things this year, songstar for my daughter and guitar hero or jungle party for the boys. that way they can share them all. But i'll prob end up changing my mind lol.
-
my kids are the same halltribe i usually leave it and that way i know what there into at chrissy time.im stumped for ideas this yr im trying not to spend heaps like i usually do but what can u get a 12 10 9 that doesnt cost heaps jess is fine we know what to get her any ideas guys
-
I onlY laybyed for the three youngest ones and I know they wont change there minds by chrissy lol.
I bought things like sleeping bag and tent, skate boards, heaps of jewellery for the girls off ebay and brand new hippy clothes for the girls, yadda yadda Bratz dolls, prams blah blah blah. All at such a cheap cost. I guess its about bargaining I guess.
