Yep money is always a problem in this day and age so I guess its about being happy and affordable. We do not live above our means we have to budget and we dont buy anything we dont "Have" to have. We do not have any credit cards at all and we do not owe anyone any loans. If we cant pay cash ourselves we go without. We budget like crazy and we like the op shops and we buy the specials and we are a large happy family without worrying about who we owe this week lmao.
We are only getting the chop because we realise we cant go on having kids forever and we do not want any surprises later on when there is more chance of things going wrong when I am in my 40's. Stopping sperm coming is not the end of the world and we wont go to hell for it lol, well I hope not! I'm sure he will still function just great without sperm. Better safe than sorry I say but each to there own. I may change my mind if i decide on a 8th child!!! We dont need two cars, mobile phone bills, and all the other things that are not nessasary in life, we are happy with each other because at the end of the day when i look around the room its my family i want to see not a pile of un-nessasary bills! My kids dont miss out on anything they may just not own 30 tops from pumkin patch or have every toy on the market. ok ramberling!!!
I think all you women are amazing!
-
LMAO at the going to hell for it!!!!!! I totally agree, different strokes for different folks!!!! Man could you imagine how boring this world would be if we were all the same!!!!
Our kids don't have all the fancy clothes and stuff either , they each have some nice clothes but mainly run about stuff (its way more practical).

 Love this fab group of supportive mums!
-
I agree castle, its great to be involved with a group who you can talk so freely to.
-
-
Your all such great easy to talk to women! I already feel comfy! lol I sure know I dont want as many as the duggers! Cripes I would hate to see her insides. But I think she is so brave to have so many.
How do you go in your home for chores? Also my teenages have this real atitude about them, and I wonder if others are like this as well?
Do you feel over whelmed when you have those moments of "wow they are all myn and so beautuful"?
-
Hi soul, i'm reasonably new to this site, and like you, feel a little daunted by how well the other ladies get along. I've been reading back through all the old threads so i can find out about everyone, feel a bit more like i know them now !!
It's great to be able to talk to other mum's that understand. Hope your pelvis feels better soon, and good on you for trying for #7 if you know that's what you want, i'm sure there have been people who have tries to talk you out of it or tell you your mad!!!
-
gorgeous_lea Absolutley! But I am finding this time I am ok with everyone they are a beautiful bunch of ladies! Arn't you girls???? Hmmm ha ha!!! Everyone gave up on telling to to stop having kids three kids ago!! I just remind them they have there life so dont interfer in myn. I might have 8 yet, will wait and see what happens. But I feel 7 is it, body wise as well I think. I see you going to get married whoo hoo to you both!!!
-
I agree with letting people live there own lives, it's not like i'm asking them to raise it for me so i don't see what their issue is really !! My youngest started school this year, everyone told me i'd be bored, i didn't believe them, but i do now ! I really miss having a little person around during the day. makes the day go quicker. So i had to decide wether i wanted to get a job or have another baby, the baby idea won hands down :)
So a few days after the wedding in Feb, IUD coming out and then the fun begins  We will have the his/hers/ours thing going on then, i cant wait to have a baby with a guy i really love and respect (different from my first marriage :()
I'm a but worried about how my body will cope with pregnancy now im 'older', but im on a mission to get as healthy as i can before then.
HI to everyone else, i hope i can get some good budgeting advice from some of you all next year :D

Jess seems to be getting more and more independent, and Em is starting to follow in her footsteps..life is good, plus im so motivated about finishing my darn degree lol..its taking too long already!

gorgeous_lea I know what you mean about getting healthy first I am ona that mission too. I weighed 94 kilos before pregnancy with pheeny and I am not 86 kilos and going down. Want to get to 70 before I try again. I am so glad you are with a man who you adore, and I am sure he respects you very much. Makes a difference in the home right?
~Jo~ yes y sye s you know exactly what I am talking bout!!! Those dreams were your babes really visiting you and showing you what was to come with them. Its called pre birth communication. I too have dreams of my children before they arrive inside my womb. With Ashlen my 3 year old I had a very vivid dream about being in a room full of angels and spirits it was actually a huge hall and they were waiting for someone that was coming up onto the tage to sit in a thrown, God I suspect an the excitment and love felt in that hall was amazing. Then one of the angels told me I was not supposed to be in there and had to leave before he came, just as I opened the door to leave this angel told me I would concieve within 3 months. I did and exactly 3 months later!
OK ramberling again.

Hi Jo, my name comes from my DP, its the nick name he has for me !!
Which degree are you doing? i'm not suprised it is taking you so long with kids as well. Nice to see your mood as 'in love' like mine !!!
Soul, i am 94 kilo's atm, but being 6ft 1 helps to hide it :p I'd like to get to 85 before i TTC though. After being in a marriage where i didnt respect my hubby, it amazes me every day what a difference it makes with everything i do and the decisions i make, it feels good :D I used to dream that i would have a child later in life, but never thought it would come true as my first hubby got the snip; it's amazing what we 'know' before it happens isn't it !!!
-

Lea I found weight watchers to be the easiest way of losing weight cause its not about dieting! I dont go to meetings as I havent time or the money right now but I use to go so know the ways of it anyways and I also buy the weight watchers books off ebay so it all helps. If you want it real bad you'll get there sweetie. We are renewing our wedding vowels next October so I 'Have" to get this blubba off me lmao.
Jesabel have you ever thought about using they so called gender diet? Just out of curiosity I wonder if it really works?
-
Thanks Jes, i'm looking forward to it more and more now. I hope everything goes as well for me as it did for you. I'll only be having one with this DP, it will make 8 between us !! But i never say never either, might want to give it a playmate lol depends how things go i suppose.
-
I'm going to start eating like my Dad to try to loose some weight, he's diabetic and their way of eating is very healthy, I wont stick to it as strictly as he does, might sneak in the odd bit of chocolate lol
That's great about renewing vowes, how long have you been married for ???
-
Yeah Daibetic way is good too. I'm not good at being religious with it but am going to try and do it this time lol. Good thing about weight watchers is you can still eat anything you want, cake, lollies anything you just have to put it into your points. But then you find you waste your points on stupid foods therefore you learn to eat healthier .
We have been together for 18 years in October. Stared dating when I was 16 and fell pregnant straight away. Married on the 7th October 8 years ago. So in our eyes been married the whole time. So we renew our vowels next year being 19th year. I am 33 and DH is 35.
