Wow :o Kinda feel like u dodged a bullet lol.
Em2, It doesn't matter that they have to do the hard sell or that this is what the business is all about - it is the fact that PZ told her thanks but no thanks and she is still calling like a woman possessed! She crossed the line professionally IMO and as soon as she knew PZ wasn't interested then she should have said, "OK, that's fine, but if you change your mind you have my number".
Oh yeah, that was the point of my post. Some of that bill was the cost of the stack of catalogues I was sent. Keep the SMS's in case they have the audacity to send you a bill for them.
I haven't read all the answers, but tell her you've opted to be a Tupperware Consultant and give her back the catalogues ;). Sorry, a bit cheeky eh?
I know what the point of the post was - I am not silly lol
PZ, can I ask if they're campaign 18 or 1? If they're 1, can I have them? save me buying them if you got them free :p

OMG :o very pushy :(
Wow you have to purchase the catelogues? sheez, maybe do tupperware instead?
Sure Teni, when I get home I'll check what they are :)
Wow never knew you had to pay for them, ours are regularly eaten by snails.
You have to buy catalogues for Tupperware too.
I've been harassed by several of these 'ladies'. If she keeps going PZ call Avon and complain.
*raises right hand*
I solemnly swear not to be a pushy Lady, and back off if customers/people I want to sign up aren't interested.
Sent from my iPhone so forgive the speelung misstacks ;)
I vote we can have an exchange of goods and services:
inertia can report the smelly vanessa from avon to Consumer Services for pumpkin.
pumpkin can send the catalogues to teni.
teni can send a tube of moist mocha to inertia.
yes?
Wow, this chick is full on!!!! I hope she leaves you alone PZ!!!!!
I actually had a similar thing happen with a Tupperware lady!!! A friend of mine got into it and she had her first announcement "Party"- well i was the only one who turned up and my friends manager did a little attempt at recruiting and I was like no thanks, I am new to town and I only know a few people and I dont want to meet people being "that chick who sells tupperware and constantly asks people to buy stuff"
So a few days later the Head Tupperware lady calls me and casually asks if she can pop around for a cuppa that afternoon. I was like um, ok. She came and had forms ready for me to sign because this other chick had recommended me as a sales rep. I spent about an hour telling her that I wasnt interested for this reason or that and she had an answer for everything. The only way I got her to leave was that I ended up signing the bloody forms but said I wasnt quite ready to start yet and I would call her when I was. I then told my friend to tell her manager not to do that again and I was not interested. i got a phone call a week asking if I was ready yet. After a few months they finaly got the message and stopped calling!!!! Not quite as full on, but still- I didnt even send an email asking!!!! They are persistant buggers!!!!
definately a bit too far over the top!
Now I know why the sales ladies get that grumpy look on their face when I tell them DH threw the catalogue in the bin. But that also explains why we only ever get one catalogue before she never returns!!
 Pandora, you have never harassed me!
Hee hee...I put a note inside the first one to ever turn up on my doorstep "Please refrain from leaving your archaic spam at my house. Any further catalogues will be shredded and used for compost. Thanks"
Never got another one :)
I wonder if people sign up to this particular lady just so she leaves them alone ;)
I bet a great deal of the Melbourne women here who have been to more than one Tupperwear party have been subjected to my Nan M - or were accosted at Northland  She was mad for the T-wear, I inherited about 1/10 of her personal stash and still don't have room for it all!
Errr so, this evening at around 7.30 I got a call from some other lady (can't remember her name, but have her number) because VANESSA THE FREAKY AVON LADY PASSED MY DETAILS ON TO HER!!! Wtf?? She started pressuring me too, I got really angry at her and said I don't appreciate being harassed! What the hell, Avon?! Y U so desparate??
Grounds for a complaint to head office if you ask me. If naff off doesn't work, get them in trouble.
Obviously your only option is to sign up - under Teni ;) *evil cackle*
:jawdrop: NO WAY!!!!
I can't believe she has done that!! Well I guess with the way she conducted herself before we shouldn't be suprised! I would be calling and making a complaint hun!
Oh dear.
Well, I think you have the "more information" you originally requested.
Avon is a mlm group who sell overpriced goods to pay downline. Members make their money by recruiting downliners. They get paid a % of anything their downline earns. Any possible downline lead needs to be viciously fought for. That's the life of an Avon rep if she stands to have any success at it.
I was harassed by tupperware reps. I told them in the end that I would call them if or when I was interested. They finally left me alone. This all happened because I asked someone to contact me if they had any rice cookers in stock, not because I ever wanted to sell tupperware.

Definately make a complaint to head office!
