Munchkin my DD was the result of first ivf/pgd cycle...first time lucky, it does happen! Unfortunately haven't been as lucky since. Hoping third time is the charm :)

Joe, you've done it once & I'm positive you will do it again! I hope it's sooner rather than later for you.

Elarwood- how are you holding up?

Hcg now 467 so has more than doubled... Feeling a little better now :-)

Hcg only 290 so FS has decided to stop all meds/progesterone & I guess wait to miscarry. See him next week for a scan & next step. Last chemical it took ages for hcg to return to 0. Words cannot describe how distraught I am, knowing it was a cgh normal embryo. I hate all the waiting to try again. Maybe lucky #7? From now on we are transferring 2 & will do the endo scratch, lipidol flush & intrapilids just in case. Some of our 5 normal ones are still at morula stage - it's weird that the stronger embryos were our abnormal ones. DD is very sweet, she's been telling everyone mummy's tummy is sore (clexane bruises) & mummy's sad.

Congrats munchkin - hard wonderful news. I too had DD on my first cycle & transfer.

Thanks for the naturopath advice Alison, I should def give up sugar! I have up wheat for a while there as we thought I was celiac (lucky turned out it wasn't) but certainly felt healthier not eating any gluten.

PS - any idea when I will get AF/bleed now that I've stopped all support?

Elarwood: :hug: for you, sorry it looks like things aren't progressing normally, it's not fair :( how high was your progesterone ? Mine took ages to drop with my last miscarriage, hope it isn't too long for you

As for me... I'm unsure of whether or not to go for another beta or just wait till my scan which isn't until 8 weeks. Not sure what is more stressful!

Munchkin if you are feeling anxious I would ask for another beta. You don't want your cortisol (stress) levels skyrocketing. Best that you are able to relax & not get worked up....easier said than done I know but the reassurance will most definitely help xxx

You're right, I think I will. I'm just really scared it's going to be a blighted ovum

Munchkin: I'd be getting more tests done but that's me ! I like the numbers to be a certain level by the 6 week scan because then I know what I'll see

Thanks Minniemouse- I'm in so much pain I can't believe it! So sharp down my left side, tummy looks huge! Did you use pain relief? They gave me endone yesterday but don't know if I should keep using it?

13 sounds great!! Surely you will get a few normal ones from that amount! Will you be having 5 day transfer?

I will go in Wednesday for another beta and take it from there. My clinic routinely does the scan at 8 weeks so I doubt they will give me a 6 week scan...
