It's amazing, the scientist just called and my single little embie has progressed to become a young blastocyst, the scientist seemed hopeful he would progress fruther and if all goes well there will be a biopsy tomorrow morning.

WTH: Yes I think he is a great doctor - he emailed me twice within 24 hours and that's on on Good Friday! Absolutely amazing - unfortunately IVF Australia won't be the place for me as they only transfer on Day 5. Have now emailed Monash and Melbourne IVF and will see what they say.

Sara- amazing little embie!!!! what fabulous news. Praying with everything crossed that you get to biopsy and the results good. Maybe there is a chance of a miracle yet?!
I did my PGD with Monash(in melb) and they do all biopsy at day3 and will transfer between day3 and 5 depending on numbers etc

CP - forgive me,not sure where you are in your TWW? Have you found out yet?

Thanks for thinking of me Meredith&Molly - my little embryo has grown into a perfect little blastocyst and is currently being biopsied - results will come by late afternoon today. I am not holding out much hope for the biopsy result but very relieved that I was able to get one blasto from only one fertilised egg.

Hi to Meredith, C'Pie, WTH, Ms Pink, WLAB, Kate, MollyGirl and anyone else who I missed.

AFM - not much to report - we enjoyed our long weekend away - now it is back to all the herbs, vitamins, etc. We probably won't be doing another IVF cycle for a couple of months as I want to wait a full cycle and I think we will be away for the following cycle. But I am going to start charting so that we can try on our own.

I am PUPO - I still can't believe it and am over the moon - while I still feeling pessimistic about the chance of actually getting pregnant I am really happy that we got this far, one step further than before and I have now proven that there are actually blasties which don't have the bad gen which gives me hope for the future.

Will be back for personals tomorrow.
