IVF with PGD #8

I am officially 4 weeks pregnant. Now just to wait three weeks for our 7 week ultrasound.

I hope you are all enjoying some sunshine this weekend. I certainly am.

AFM- no news is good news I guess, just trying to continue on my path of healthy living in preparation for our next cycle in a few months. Had my second acu appt on Saturday, was so relaxing.

I'm back from holidays and doing the healthy thing in earnest now too. Between now and my FET which will be in about 6 weeks I am limiting processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, carbs, sugars and working hard on getting lots of exercise. I have 4 in the freezer and don't want to get down to the last one before one sticks!!

So glad to hear you are well and staying healthy. Sending you all healthy thoughts.

I'm going well, eating way too much but at least I have no morning sickness. Fingers crossed for a blood test in a week and a scan a week after that.

JBear - I swear by accu. It is truly amazing and I am sure he reason it all worked for me this time round. Keep it up, it's fabulous as you are discovering.

What is happening with FETs and the like?

I had a blood test today and things are going really well. Just in the final stages of deciding private or public. What do you think? I'm so confused and DH said he will do what ever I want so not helping me decide.

I'm just waiting for AF and then will be on my FET cycle. I'm really excited and can't wait to get going but I'm getting scared it wont work :(

I will be going public. Where I live there are only two major hospitals and the major public one has a good neo natal unit onsite, and the Obs in this town go backwards and forwards between public and private anyway :)

Good luck with whatever you decide. I think it depends on where you live, like Sydney and Melbourne I am sure there would be a huge difference between public and private hospitals, but there isn't here :)

Jess- Yes i am loving acu, really hoping it will help improve the quality & give us our BFP. Glad to hear everything is going well, what an exciting time. Sorry but I can't offer any advice on public vs private.

BF - OMG how annoying is the waiting, too much time to think! Well all I can say is try to be positive, easier said than done I know. Sending you some positive vibes xo

AFM - Just waiting for AF, hasn't come since last month. Bit weird but I'm thinking I might be out of wack since my d&c and Hysteroscophy? I have a follow up appt with my FS tomorrow so I guess I'll ask her then.

Yep waiting for AF is driving me INSANE!!

Good luck with your FS today. Love how they say you should be back to normal after one period after a stim, yet everyone seems to get out of wack!!

Anyway I'm a bit worried that I wont ovulate in time for my natural cycle, so I'm googling everything I can about balancing hormones etc. See how we go......

Hey Lovelies, I wrote a reply Friday but it disappeared. Don't u hate that! Ok so my appt went well, FS pretty much said there was nothing abnormal found from the Hysteroscopy (not sure if I spelt it right). So just got to get rid of this cold & we will do another cycle next month.

How r u going BF? AF here yet? I hope u found some info to help online.

Still waiting for AF but PMS is in force, so hopefully any day now!! Trying to do all the right things to get some regularity into my cycle. FS said I would have til about day 20-23 to ovulate before it is cancelled so just praying all goes that way. This cycle I O'd on about day 30.

Glad there was nothing found in your test, that's good news! Will you be cycling soon then?

JBear so happy your scan went well. I swear accu is the reason we are pregnant this time round.

Had a scan today - everything looks fabulous. We have a 12 mm "peanut" with a very healthy heart beat.

What if AF? Sorry still have not learnt all the abreviations.

How exciting about your scan!! You must be over the moon!!

AF is "Aunt Flo" - your period. Sorry for all the acronyms!! ;)

I think I'll do Acu before and after again this cycle too, but not doing it every week leading up and every second day after transfer, just cost me too much money :(
