AFM not good news, only 1 egg and 4 empty follicles. Am devastated and don't feel positive about the one that they retrieved. Not sure what happened but will hopefully get some more information tomorrow. Still feeling like crap, wish they could have given me some of the 'happy drugs' to bring home....

anyos- omg I'm so sorry how absolutely devastating. I hope the one they did get is a lil' fighter and you get good news regarding fert.:crossfingers: Regarding the 4 empty follies- another BB member had a similiar thing happen to her. Try googling "empty follicle syndrome Dr. Lok SIVF" and see what you can find. After doing some research into this herself and talking to FS about it, she was able to achieve better results in her next cycle with less 'empty' follies. BOL.
M2C- I just wanted to thank you again hun for your constant support, your a gem.

AFM- No scan this morn, spoke to the nurses yesterday and they said not to have it, that I would have a pre-op scan before EPU instead. I was more than ok with this as I've had 4 scans already, it is what it is and I probably didn't really need to know if the follies had grown or not because, if they hadn't I only would have just worried about it and there's nothing that I can do about it. Nurses also called this arvo and instructed me to trigger tonight at 9pm with EPU on Wed. morn at 10am. I have to be there at 8:45am to have my final scan and DP has a date with the needle at 11am. So :crossfingers: for EPU here's to getting nice, mature eggs as I don't have great quantities to play with.
hey Dutchie, thanks for support, I'll look up Dr Lok and have a chat to my FS @ SIVF as well. Hope all goes well with the trigger tonight and that there's good eggs for pick up on Wednesday :pray:

Dutchie; I could not agree with the nurses more, sometimes too much is too much. I have had a pre-op scan before, and it gives you a lot less time to worry about follical sizes. Congrats for getting to your drug free day, it is such a relief, I will be thinking of you at the magic hour 9pm.

AFM; Just taking the pill, it is so strange, isn't it, taking a tablet to stop us ovulating. A couple of weeks before I start to stim. I am off to see another FS next week, to organise a tf later in the year of our frostie at the old clinic, I had to wait months to see her, so I am interested to meet her, and get yet another, prespective....
M2C; What's happening with you? How long until you can re-commence? I was searching old threads on BB last night, back to 97 ... and one of the other girls had a very high reading as well

wlb i wish you all the best for your cycle, i hate the pill lol its the worst part of the cycle for me. i dont know what it is but i get really sick from it! when do you start syneral?
your such a sweetie for asking about me, i have to go back to fs when af arrives ( just over a weeks time) and he will give me a scan to make sure my ovaries are in good shape, and if all looks good i will start the pill with the next af, so roughly i should be on the pill in around 5 wks. i might have to go do a search on bb so i can have a read, its really helpful when you can go back and read up on peoples past experiences and to see if they eventually got there forever babies, it gives you hope iykwim, thanks for letting me know about it ;)
M2C - You will find the old posts really interesting, and it really gives you an insite into how many BB ladies, go through the same problems we do, and now you see their tickers with their bubs, it keeps the faith, and you see so many familiar names, that have been through what, we are going through now ..

Dutch - scroll to the top of the screen and you can select new posts - which can be a welcome'd distraction during our journey, and you meet lotsa other BB gals, that you would not meet otherwise.
And for the other older threads, just go to the posted member threads and go back to the olden days .. or again select search at the top of the screen

Have been a bit awol of late due to many factors, BB visitors staying for the weekend was a welcomed distraction from work and TTC!
WLB - New clinic? Where you off to and who is going to be your FS? We missed you Friday, it was great fun.
Duchie - no more scans! That has to be good news. Sometimes my clinic does far too many and it can really be a PITA! Hoping you embies grow strong for you and that you have a fantastic result at EPU! Good luck
