A big enormous hello to all you beautiful ladies,
I sense a real positive vibe in here at the moment.
Could a mass exocise be around the corner?????
We have still been taking the herbs (vile tasting things I have ever tried).
I don't know if they are doing anything, but I must say I am 9dpo and my chart is looking wonderful. Straight up, no dipping and sliding as usual, but I am not getting my hopes up at all  So maybe the herbs are doing something !
I hope you all all enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having.
Will check in later
Luv Ann
to all of you

Hi Ann good luck with the herbs hun.. i hope you get the BFP you have been after for so long...
Well, we have a bit of an annoucement... NO I AM NOT PREGNANT! Get that cleared up first... We are not going to 'actively' try to concieve again until July next year. We are off to the UK for 2 months in Feb, and then to the US and Hawaii in June. We both want to go back overseas again, before anything happens, and now is as good a time as ever.. BUT if i do fall, that will be that.... LOL.. I will still drop in and say gday to everyone and still continue to be an active member, particularly in the Endo/PCOS section. I feel really good about the situation and feel like a 'weight' has been lifted off my shoulders...
I am going to ring my gyno and chat with him about my decision. Although I have just turned 31, I am hoping I am young enough to put it all on hold for 10 months...
Good luck to everyone... love and hugs
Leis xxx
-
Hi girls
just checking in and swooshing baby dust about for you all.
Swoosh swoosh. :bluedust: :bluedust:
Leis - at 31 you are definitely young enough to put it on hold sweetie.
Ann - fingerscrossed for you.
-
Ahhhh Leis,
I am jelous, you lucky bugger. I hope you enjoy your OS trip. You never know what may happen while your NOT TRYING!. I bet you come back with some fantastic news. At 31 you are still at the starting gates, not like some oldies (me) who are on the final straight IYKWIM.
I hope you are all enthusiastic about the new working week. I have picked up some casual work, so it will keep me out of trouble for a while.
Leis, my dad is having surgery at St Vinscents next week, so I might finally get to meet you!
Luv to all
Ann :hello:
-
YES,
I am excited, I just got a phone call from channel 7, I won a tickle me Elmo from the Sunrise morning program.
I've never won anything before in my life.
Now I can annoy the $hit out of DH!
Ann
-
Hi gals,
Ann Im glad things are going well and your chart looks wonderful.
Tam, as this is my first cycle on the herbs I have noticed my body has changed. Normally before af hits I get 4-5 days of brown spotting and then af for a week, this time round no spotting at all (although af is late!).
Ann will you be seeing Antonia in person anytime soon?
-
Ohhh Ann - go the tickcle me elmo!! How did you manage that? I watched a bit of sunrise this morning but I must have missed that part.
-
LOL Ann... that is so funny... tickle me elmo... my nephew had one, and it drove me up the wall.. i used to hide it on him!!! I am not starting at St Vinnes for a few weeks yet mate.. but you have my phone number Ann if you want to catch up.. as I am 'unemployed' at the moment and loving it!! LOL!!! When do you start your next IVF cycle mate?
I am going to go back on the pill 'shock horror'.... the main reason being... it will keep my endo from returning so that when we do 'actively' start to try again, it will be all nice and healthy inside!! I speak with my gyno tomorrow.. so i will let you all in on what Dr Coopsy has to say! But i think that will be the first thing he says, and to be honest i think it is a good idea! Talk about how weird life is.. things just turn around so quickly!!!
hugs to everyone.. leis xx
-
Leis, hope you enjoy yourself. I know the last few times I've had breaks (forced or not) I actually feel like I have a life. And also enjoy being unemployed, lol.
I think it always feels ironic when we go on the pill, for whatever reason.....
Ann & Lisa, hope the tonics continue to do what they are supposed to do. I think it's almost a given that they'd taste yucky. Isn't it the old saying that anything that's good for you tastes awful..
Is there anyone else cycling with me? So far alright, more BT & scan tomorrow.
Take care
-
Tam - yes thats the way it goes unfortunately, the better for you something is the worse it tastes! My cycle is changing though and I havent had a proper af yet (it was due last week) so im going to see the NP tomorrow to see if her treatment has any bearing on what is going on with my cycle.
How are you feeling about everything? I hope it goes well for you sweety.
-
Hello Ladies,
Well I am well and truely POBT (pi$$ed off big time). Yes I weakened and POAS, BFN. I wasn't going to test, really I wasn't, but with my temps looking the best they ever have, I thought why not? Well I wished I bloody well hadn't. Some of you might be thinking that 12DPO is too early, but I just think I can't do what 80% of the female population can do naturally (getting pg).
I am feeling well and truely over this whole thing. AF is due tomorrow, I say bring the bloody bi*ch on, I'll show her!
I went out a got some brochures, I am thinking about blowing the money we have on a holiday, instead of trying to do the impossible!
Luv Ann
Sorry about the vent.
-
Oh Ann  I am so sorry hun... it is so hard not POAS sometimes, particularly when you start something new to assist you with TTC.... You get your hopes up and then :wall: you just feel like punching someone or something! Sometimes I used to want and go and have a full hysterectomy, so that i could never get my hopes up again.. or even remotely think i had a chance, ever.. our psychies and minds work in weird and funny ways when we are on this never ending roller coaster...
Look after yourself. You know where i am if you need me... leis xx
-
Hi gals
For those who were asking about the herb tonics etc that both Ann and I are taking - well they worked for me - got a bfp today. So dont give up all hope yet ann. Thinking of you all and prayig for bfp's for you all,
Lisa
-
OMG Lisa, that is sssssssssssssoooo good ... Congrats to you and DH, I hope it has the same affect on Ann too.
leis xx
-
Thanks Leis, I wasnt going to post in this thread, but I had to tell Ann not to give up on ttc.
-
Arhhhh Lisa,
that is fantastic!!
Congratulations. I was just going to post and say that I made an appointment with Antonia for the 30th Oct. We are flying down from the Gold Coast the day before. Antonia said that she will be seeing us all day, considering we are flying in across 3 states just to see her.
Well bloody AF still hasn't shown her face yet, and yes POAS (I won't learn will I?) and another BFN. Still maybe something will happen shortly!!!!
Luv to all
Ann
-
Oooh Ann - how many dpo are you??? Throwing you a truckful of :bluedust: as Keen would say.
Congrats LisaL - looking forward to meeting you in PALTTC.
Go you lovely women! We want you to graduate.
-
hi all
just thought i would intro myself and I am just about to start IVF again next week.
My name is odette and have been TTC various ways for over 7 years for 'unexplained infertility' (i.e nothing is wrong that they can find????)
I have undergone 2 full cycles and 1 frostie of IVF in the past
From my second last go we were blessed with twins who are now 3 1/2.
Since their birth I have had my remaining frostie put back which was a BFN and tried natropathy for 12 months.
We finally conceeded that we can't do this on our own and went and saw our IVF doc last week.
So here i am on the brink of starting this journey of IVF again. My AF is due next sunday- so from there on I will be on the pill from day five and syneral. Then when instructed on 450mg of Pergon and after transfer crinnone. Nearly exactly the same meds I had four years ago bar the crinnone cream. So I guess nothing has changed that much, except that its pen injection rather than having to draw it up ourselves.
Does the pergon still sting like buggery when its going in?
The major challenge I face is trying to stay sane and stable doing IVF and looking after the rest of the family.
My DH has had reservations about me being able to do it, and is pertrified of a pair in there again!
Definately only putting one back at a time !!!!! Knowing my luck it will split naturally and get ID's.
Anyway that's it for me.
I feel greedy in some ways going back for more, when I should be grateful for what I have got, but my materal instict tells me that there is one more soul missing to complete our circle - so here I am.
Hoping for a smooth rollercoaster ride
Take care
Odette
-
Odette,
I wish you all the luck and hope that you won't have to wait too long for a little bubba (or two).
Me CD35 and bloody AF doesn't feel any closer! $hit. When ever you want her she never arrives on time! I am definately NOT going to POAS. Well unless I weaken. (trying to stay away from those little sticks)
Keen, I really hope that you can find some answers.
I'm off to Melbourne on the 29/10, maybe I can find some answers.
Ann
-
Hi gals,
Well my pg failed - it was an early pg failure, and now af has arrived :( Im ok a little disappointed though.
Ann, Antonia told me that she wasnt sure this baby would stick but she was confident id be pg (nice and properley pg) within a couple of months. So i guess thats some good news.
I cant wait til you see her, she will see your aura etc and do some accupuncture and healing with you. You will love it and feel so much more confident afterwards. I hope the trip down is worth it for you hun.
Wishing bfp's for all of you lovelies here in this thread,
Lisa
-
Hi Odette, nice to see you around again! Exciting that you are heading down the IVF path again and hope like mad you get yourself a little bro/sis for your twinnies!
Im a little confused... are there some posts missing??
-
Lisa,
Big hugs darl, sorry about your lose.
Accupuncture, are you serious? I have a nedle phobia. I HATE THEM! But anything for a baby.
AF the bloody thing still hasn't arrived. CD36, and still counting.
I hope everyone is dong well
 for those who need it!
Ann

Im so sorry - no posts missiung but my brain has been playing tricks on me and I thought I had been posting in here when in fact I had been posting in LT TTC & ART! Now I understand what is happening.

pg/loss ment
Hi Girls,
Sorry I have benn MIA since our failed FET in June, then we had to go through our Angel's EDD.
I am about to start stimms for our 8th transfer and slowely going mad lol. For those who don't know me we have beed ttcing for nearly 5 yrs now I have pcos and crushed tubes from misdiagnosed burt appendix when i was 16. We have done 3 fresh cycles of IVF and 4 FET's, I was luck to fall pg on my 6th cycle last yr but in Feb this yr my waters broke for no reason and I was induced nearly 2 weeks later after we knew there was no chance for her.
Thats it
Shazz.
-
Shazz, have missed you lovey. Hoping your success this October IVF cycle
-
Lisa, sorry hun you didn't get a good sticker... take care and remain positive.. leis xx
-
Hello all you lovely ladies.
Lou- Where are you up to?
Tam- how are you going?
Eje- Good to hear that the ball is rolling. ever so slowly, but it is rolling.....
Ann- The herbs just need a little time to settle in your system. Dont give up yet. Big hugs for the BFN.
Leis- How exciting. Hope you enjoy all the planning too. Have you settled into your new home yet?
Lisa- Sorry to hear about the BFN. Many hugs to you. Hope Antonia works her magic on both you and Ann soon.
Odette- Welcome back. Wishing you the best for this upcoming cycle. I dont think you are greedy at all. We will be here to help keep you sane though out it ok! The pen injections are so much easier. For me sometimes they sting and sometimes not. So hopefully they wont sting as much for you this time.
Keen- Hope you are doing well.
Shazz- Wishing this cycle is the lucky one!
And everyone I have missed I hope you are all doing well and I am sending you all so much babydust!!!!!
I have been so busy lately, which is probably a good thing. AF over due and every now and then I feel her coming but doesnt. I have even lost track of where my diary is but I know I am passed the CD45. Grrrrrrr. I also hurt my Knee last month and was not able to walk as much as I used to. got on the scales this morning and found I put on 6 kg. another grrr. So my Guess is that the test results for the end of the month wont be good either. Starting to think that next year is the earliest I will be allowed to do IVF. I do feel my dream slipping away...
-
been banging my head against a wall for the last 24 hours, I have lost my piece of paper the only piece i refer to as my bible. my drug adminastration dates and dose.
so this morning i started the dreaded spray and dont know the dose i only recall ever taking one spray and alternating nostrils morning and night but im with a new gyn and im sure this cycle is very different to any other i have done. Also dont know when to stop taking the pill.
Will just do the one spray i think and call the nurse at 10 to find out again. so so loopy to early in this cycle!!
BBL to chat but hope every one will have a fantastic day and thankyou.
-
Thanks for the welcome lovlies!!
I have a scan tomorrow and pick up my stimms. My hubby is going away on Sat for a few days and out of 3 stimm cycles he has always done them for me. Now I will have to do them for myself and I am crapping myself to say the least!! I am going to get him to put a X on my tummy with a permanent marker lol:p . Any advice would be appriciated!
Hugs
Shazz.
-
hi Shazld, and welcome back i hope your journey will be a sucess for you this cycle.i read your story and was really sadened to hear of your loses. DH used to do all my injections but when we were out and about one night when he was a little tippsy he put it in and out so fast (thought he might be missing out on some action back in the pub!!) i had medication all over my stomach and it hurt so much that i have now done it myself eack cycle since. Although i do get my mil to do the trigger injection as she is a nurse and im a woose with that one good luck and i know you can do it think of what the outcome will be.xx
hope that helps you out a little
-
I find it less painful when i do injections myself. However I let DH do them because he likes to feel as though he is doing something, I guess. The first time even after having had past cycles is hard to do though.
-
Not much news from me. Had a meeting yesterday with MIVF genetisist. They got the stuff they needed back from the Royal Childrens hospital and have started things but said it was very unlikely that we would get our first cycle in this year, (depends how long it takes for them to build our probe, and they also close down over christmas) and it would be more likely to be early next year. So more waiting waiting for us. On the plus side, having been back on the pill now for 3 months and my skin is looking lovely again!!
-
There has to be a silver lining in every situation hey??!! What a poop that you may have still a ways to wait. At least they are starting on the probe.
Nothin happening with me either...on day 4 of my second course of clomid.
-
hoping you're not in here for too long Hay....
Im off to vent... yet again... just about to burst!
-
Hi Girls,
I hope you are all well. Not much happening around here, have started BCP, so I will definately NOT be missing our next FET due to the ***** not turning up on time. Just seems strange TTC but taking the pill!
Looking forward to our trip to melbourne at the end of the month (to see Antonia Ruhl), just before we start the IVF FET journey yet again.
Take care all you little lovelies!
Ann
-
Hi all
Still here
Finally jumped on the rollercoaster on Sunday with AF turning up - so here we go. Start the pill on Thursday and then synerol a week or so after that.
So now I have bought my ticket and just waiting for this ride to take off - weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Here we go !!!
Can you tell that I am already insane ?????
Take care
odette
-
odette,
it's good to see you back on the rollercoaster, matey!
Ann, hope Antonia can do for you what IVF hasn't been able to so far!
Tam, where are you? Want the goss on how you went!
Keen, hoping you're getting some positive solutions to the new issues that have been raised.
Hello everyone else, hope everyone is well!
-
Hi guys
Odette, woohoo for starting the roller coaster (I think!!!) hope all goes well
Ann, it is always strange when the BCP is mentioned around here, but yeah, it's good for the control factor. So is it about 3 weeks for your cycle to start? Hope the visit goes well
Hayseed, about ready for the BD fest, have fun & enjoy, lol
Eje, it's always good to find a positive somewhere in there, good on you.
Keen, hope things are going ok, I'll check the vent again to get an update since last in.
Leis, hope you're enjoying your break still & the move went well.
Vicki, when are your next tests? Crossing my fingers for you.
My transfer went well on Sunday, my little blast thawed 100% and was starting to hatch. I just hope I've got a good lining for him to cling onto. I'm not sure what it was as I had a scan ages ago (CD 12 I think).
Had my BT today. P4 was 74. Can anyone help me with numbers as to whether that is any good. Given my P4 problems I'm keeping an eye on this. I'm not sure whether to ask for an extra test at the end of this week to check it again.
Take care all (including those I know I've missed)
-
Hi gals
Tam that is super news about your little 'un.... i am  that its a sticker
Ann, very bizarre isn't to be on the pill considering your situation, but heres hoping hun, it and the rest of your cycle gets you a good end result.

Odette - everything crossed for you and congrats on the big start to the huge rollercoaster
Hayseed - Stay positive hun, your dreams and hopes will come true for you

Yay Tam!
P4 at 74 seems okay to me for mid LP, though I'm not 100% sure. I wonder if Sheree or Kar would know?
