Any1 in 1st IVF Cycle???

Hello Everyone,

Well, here goes I am on the 2nd day of the BCP. All fingers crossed the nasal spray should start on the 12th July, not sure about the injections yet.

Kotare, I am doing well, thanks. I have a day jam packed with appointments tomoro, nurse, counciller and FS. I start the nasal spray on tues so am getting all that stuff. i will be on here Tues morning to complain about the taste!!:lol:

Thanks Smithy! Already I think I wont like the spray!! Went to the nurse and got all my stuff, injections and instructions. OMG it is SO much info but am sticking to the orginal plan of manage one day at a time! hope everyone else is having a great Monday!

Well, I started on the Puregon injections last night, 450mg so quite a decent dose there! DH went very well, although to say he was nervous was an understatement. Poo-ing his pants really, as he was too scared of hurting me!!

I am booked in on Monday for my ulstrasound, so fingers crossed that all will be ok and tracking on target. I must say, I am quite excited and nervous, still cant believe that we are finally doing this after waiting for sooo long. Finally something pro-active rather than sitting around waiting.

Good to see that there are a few popping the BCP and getting ready to start the synarel spray. Thats when you know its really happening.

Hi Randay - just checking in to see how your scan went on Tuesday. I had a scan this morning and we are set for an EPU on Saturday. Only follicle but we are hoping that this will be the one!

Will check in again later to see how you and everyone else is going.

Hiya missy, its not that I like it, its just that I was expecting WAY worse! It isnt too bad. So far this is only day 3!:) Bring on your 2nd cycle must be great knowing that you are going again!
Cheryl Good luck with your EPU, does this mean that you only have one follicle? Sometimes there is more than one egg in a Follie isnt there?!?

Hi Blayz - yes, some of the other ladies on another thread said that there could be more than one egg in my follie (yes - only one follicel, my body didn't respond well at all!), but my FS didn't mention that possibility this morning, and of course I forgot to ask. Anyway, I will know on Saturday how many they get - I have my fingers crossed for one good quality but more than that would be fantastic!! Hey, and no more spray for me - YAY! I am glad that you aren't finding it too bad - I found having something to eat or drink after taking it made the taste not as bad, but of course this isn't always possible. Hopefully you aren't getting too many headaches with it! Good luck with your cycle... and I hope your body responds better than mine did!

Hey Blayz and Smithy. Well ive already done the first part of the 2rd cycle. Now just got to wait till my next AF to have to ET done. But it wont take that long. Its so exciting.

Blayz I know you dont love it but There is nothing I like about the spray. Just didnt sit well with me. But I really hope its ok for you. Well so far it is so that is good. (touch wood). I think im more excited about you and smithy then myself...lol

Chez67 I really hope you get lots of little follies on Sat I think you said. I wish you all the luck hun. Ill be watching to see how many you got. But hey just remember if you only do get the one, that it only takes one egg to get pg. Anything can happen.
