crinone gel

i found the pessaries only mildly waxy - a liner was enough to keep any mess at bay.

Wow I have never used nasty crinone - glad about that! I have had the waxy pessaries which were not too bad really...

Ok so please excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between the crinone and the presseries?

crinone is a thick white gel that comes in an applicator that needs to be squirted close to the cervix. it's yuk. builds up and comes out looking like cottage cheese

pessaries are little waxy pellets that are inserted and "melt" close to the cervix. they come away daily so no real build up - and not the ick factor!

Ooooh sounds like so much fun NOT. Hmmmm wonder if I get an option at our clinic :-S

kasam you'll find almost all clinics will, after a stim cycle/fresh transfer hand you crinone...

The first time I used the evil Crinone stuff, it actually didn't start coming out until AF came and by that time it was black and very clumpy. I thought that I was passing big blood clots and kinda freaked out - was at work at the time, so not really a good thing. Nobody warned me that could happen :redface:

Ever since then have only used the pessaries, much easier to use, cheaper and less side effects.

well today i have woken up and done my morning wee and when i wiped there was this big clump of cronine gel with the lightest tinge of pink through it and it happend twice before the other day but wasnt near as much
i think i have about 3-4 days left on the gel but just wondering if this is a common thing or is it just my sily body

the crinone will irritate the cervix big time hunny - it might just be that...

Smithy my sweet friend. I always have pink tinged crinone coming out. It is truly disgusting stuff. Freaked me out at 1st but now I'm like "this is just foul!!"

i will probably be doing crinone gel this time as the fs thinks i need some extra support and i had it with fresh tfer. it was discusting.
maybe a bottle brush for you smithy? could help.

i used canesten when i was preg with one of boys it's ok if you're pregnant.
hope you feel better soon or maybe a wire bottle brush is the answer. ouch tmi.

thank god its all gone now and the canasten did wonders ,would recomend it to any one and as for that stinken gel 1 DAY LEFT YAY its terrible stuff but better with out the thrush

I'll be going out to buy a bottle brush and canestan if they put me on the evil crapone.

im not looking forward to the gel then if i use the wrong soap or anything i get like that its going to be some fun not
