So AF arrived tonight and I have ultrasound on Monday. Hate having them when still bleeding :(
So CD1 for me is Sunday 1st July.... Soon the waiting will end.....
Seriously I feel sorry for myself tonight. Stupid viruses :(
A day on the couch tomorrow methinks. DH thinks I should go to the Dr and get the week off for sick leave - cause we are spending so much money and I should look after myself. :( I feel so guilty for getting sick and I have do much work to get done.

Well I've decided I feel crap going for the transfer tomorrow. Things down there are just not right! First I had the thrush (I suspect I still have it), then I have been putting in that crinone get since Thursday (and forgetting to shake that thing too, so not sure if all the crinone had been going in :wall:) and then this morning I woke up to ridiculous amount of sort of cottage cheese discharge, which I assume is the left over crinone gel, but when I washed my hoohaa in the shower it stung! WTF? I also feel really tired and it probably doesn't help that I'm still coughing and generally feel off. So boo hoo to me :( If the thrush is there (which I'm sure it is, I have been using the canasten cream) will it affect my transfer tomorrow? I have had thrush in my past cycles, but not during transfer time...

I have to have an US at the start of the cycle to make sure the lining is thin and the ovaries are doing nothing.... that's the Down regulation side of the cycle over.... don't like it at all really..... the things we have to do :(
feeling worse today, coughing up yellow phlegm :( yuck yuck yuck.... just what I need, am thinking if I still feel this bad tomorrow I will go to the GP, and see if she will give me the rest of the week off, so I can have 2 weeks off and really rest up properly.... (cause I am the following week off leave from work anyway.... )
I hate this crap though :(
That's not good myturn :hug: Do go and see a doc if you're not feeling better in the next day or so. When I was sick last time, I went back 3 times in the space of 3 weeks as she kept refusing to give me anything for my cough/sore throat, b/c at once stage she gave me abs and they didn't do anything. I was sick for a month and still to this day I don't feel my chest fully ever recovered. I now have a 'new' cough :wall:
AFM, last session of acu this afternoon and ET is tomorrow morning. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies :pray: xoxoxox

Hi Miss B - best of luck for tomorrow hun. Sorry you are not feeling well. I know exactly what you mean about the crinone and the cottage cheese, that it exactly what I had on my first cycle. The crinone can irritate your cervix so that could be the source of the stinging. The crinone is pretty thick and creamy so I am not sure whether the amount you shake it would actually effect how much you get in. As for thrush and treatment during TWW, I'm not sure, perhaps ask the clinic tomorrow. Best of luck.
My turn - is sound like you are awefully sick. There have been some horrible viruses going around at the moment. It's hard to juggle time off from work for IVF so I understand that you are reluctant to take more time off, but sometimes hun, I think it is the best thing that we can do, to take care of ourselves so that we can be as healthy as possible - anything that might help the little embies stick, right?!
Emma - feeling tired could be a good sign. It's still early, so plenty of time for that ellusiive second line to turn up, I would think around Thursday/FRiday you would get an accurate result. But everyone is different.

FX for some great numbers today Jane and ReeRee, Im sending out all my positive vibes I can gather.
AFM- still coming along very slowly. Had and US today to see what was happening in there as I have 2 follicles at 13mm and my lining was 8.3, the nurse said that because I'm only doing a FET the they are really only interested in how my lining is and she said it looks great so FX they call me this arvo to tell me I can take my trigger.

Hi ladies,
The transfer went well, I just drank the glass of water 45 minutes earlier than I had to and I was in AGONY!! Seriously, I thought I was going to explode and pee all over the nice man doing my transfer. I ran out of that little room almost bare footed (they told me to at least wear my socks) into the toilet, and I had the longest pee :)
My embie was not quite the blastie we wanted, rather a compacting morula as of 7 am this morning, so the embryologist said it could of done a lot in the 3 and a half hours till I had my transfer at 10.30 am. The other embie is a tad behind the one we transferred, so I have to call tomorrow afternoon to see if it's suitable for freezing. Overall, they have been and are dividing nicely though, so the embyologist was happy with them both. Now the waiting begins! I made DF DTD last night, I tell you, I had tears in my eyes from the pain due to the thrush. But I have always DTD before my transfers, and so far so good.

Will be back to do some persies, I'm off to a couch to relax. The one thing I didn't do this time was to lie down following my transfer for 30 minutes which is what I normally do, so if this cycle doesn't work DF will be accountable as he rushed me today!

At MIVF we don't have to 'hold' it in or lie down afterwards - they just stick it in and its all over rover... ;)
AFM... scan was good - nothing happening down there, so we can start stabbing tomorrow.... acupuncture booked for next monday and next scan on tuesday....
so the punishment begins ;)
Yay for a good scan hun and finally starting the jabs! Won't be long before EPU for you :) My clinic doesn't tell you or suggest to lie down afterwards but it's something I've heard before and I did it in my last 2 cycles (my first cycle is now a big blur!). I'm sure of of my closest friends who went with MIVF said they recommended it to her? Maybe she did it at Monash, can't be 100% sure.....anyhoo, I went to lie down and little man won't leave me alone. I got him used to being cuddled for a few minutes before putting him down to sleep/nap, so today he screamed and doesn't want to go down. I really want to avoid picking him up, last time I lasted almost 3 days x
