Thanks miss b. Was wondering if too early but thought I would try :-) Af would normally come after bt, but last time it was 6dp 5dt. Will wait for tomorrow's testing. I can't help myself.

Jane:) I am so sad to hear that this cycle didn't work out for you :'( I don't know what you should do. I guess that other ladies in this group may have fantastic advice from their experiences. I do know that at my age, nearly 44, I can't take too much time off from cycles or else I won't be able to continue with ivf.

BTW ladies, with the 1st response tests, can a false positive come up after the 3-10 min testing time period? Mine did when I looked at the test at lunch time. Guessing it does that but wanted to ask anyway.

Thanks girls. Ive decided to have a cycle off. Psychologically I need the break and financially. Ill still hang around and hopefully will be ready to do a transfer in early April.

Would you like me to put you down of having a break Jane?

Hopeful mum. I guess a false positive is always possible but I am choosing to believe that it means you are on your way to a darker stronger bfp in the next few days. I really hope this cycle is the one for you.

Thank you jane:) for helping me to remember to believe that this could be 'the' cycle. Good luck with your time off from the ivf roller coaster. I only pray that whatever cycle you starts blesses you with your own bub. Xo.

I tested again this morning and there was a faint second line. Don't want to get too excited, although it's hard not too. Haven't told my partner as he was against me doing the testing before the bt this thu. I will be keeping the tests though for bubs pre birth box. Fx that the other tests get darker lines closer to Thurs.

Sounds promising Hopeful Mum. When are you going to test again? ;) lol

My DH is anti testing before the official bt too but I feel like it helps me feel more in control. Means I get to find out the outcome on my own terms in my own time.

Well ladies the line hasn't gotten any darker today. I realise that I still have 4days before my bt on Thursday. So hoping that it does increase. Would be devastated if I didn't get a bfp with bt :'(

Anyway, what will be will be.

Hopeful mum, I'm praying your line gets darker soon. I wouldn't test now until maybe Tuesday, the last thing you want is to be testing every day and stressing about the lightness/darkness of it. The line sometimes doesn't get darker until two days after your initial test. In my last cycle, I was obsessing so much about the colour of it, it wasn't healthy lol. GL hun xxx

I have also read because of my old age group that it could be some sort of hcg that is false for pregnancy, hence faint positive line. Has anyone heard of this before?? Can't remember where I read it, in one of the ivf fb groups maybe? ?

I cant believe it its a miracle. Back from the fs scan my fsh is 7 and there is lots of ovarian activity and she thinks I will ovulate in around 5 days. I havent ovulated in 8 months! Im im tears thankyou god thankyou thankyou thankyou. Waiting for cd1 and wr start ivf for embryo freezing and will be trying naturally as well

Hey I chose to do the testing, you didn't make me :-) I didn't do one today but looking at doing a digital one tomorrow. Then I'm waiting until bt on Thursday morning. Just hoping that the line is darker, or else I guess it will mean my hcg level is reducing and therefore not bdp.

Adgirl, absolutely wonderful news about you ovulating after 8 months. So hoping that this cycle works for you.
