Yes, Spoons, according to my BTs, I had an LH surge on about cd11- I was told to trigger that night, so should have O'd on the Saturday, and tf is tomorrow (Wednesday.)
I can't work out how they decide that tf should be then- by my calculations, Wednesday is 4dpo, and this is a blastocyst that made it to that stage on day 6- so why t/f on day 4?? I don't get it. I'll ask tomorrow.

Me and my DH ttc 3 yrs no succuss never been pg.
we have been diagnosed with male infertility issues he has low count low motility :(.
Im 27 and he is 28. We tryed ivf lasf october and got 5 mature eggs.
They had to be frozen as we couldnt get sperm on the day due to dh anxiety.
We have booked to do a egg warmming cycle with icsi and sperm aspiration if no sperm i ejaculation on the 9th of march 2015. Super exited but nervous.
If fertaized clinic will do day 3 transfer with one embyro.one only due to our age.
Im am due to start OCP on 25th jan.
I am anxious but sperm aspiration any tips welcome.
Anyone had succuss fertizatiin with just 5 eggs? I was under stimed due to age concern and amh 18 and first time on fertility meds.
Ws live in western australia but flying to sydney so its all berve racking.

Pholi, I hope your transfer went smoothly. Did you get any answers about the timing? I wasn't sure if I should put you down as a 4dt, 5dt or 6dt, so I went for the middle one, but can easily change it if you want.
corzjane, hi and welcome! We only had 5 eggs in our successful cycle (in my case due to low AMH and DOR). 4 were fertilised with ICSI, only 2 were suitable to transfer (on day 2) and one of them stuck. That was our 5th IVF cycle. We always had 5-7 eggs collected and had good fertilisation rates, but ultimately poor quality embryos due to our specific fertility issues.

Welcome corzjayne. Wishing you all the best for this cycle. Our fertilisation rates have been about ywo thirds of the number of eggs collected. But as they say, it only takes one.
Hi corzjayne, welcome. We only got 3 eggs on our first cycle when we got DS. The numbers are not everything.
Thanks, ladies, transfer went well. I don't know what I am either- I think they still consider it to be a 5 day old embryo, even though it took 6 days to get there. And apparently they count from trigger day, even if you're not expected to ovulate until the following day or the day after. They did fall back on the 'it's just protocol' line, which I find very unsatisfying.
So I think today I am 2 days post transfer of a day 5 emby. I think!
Feeling not very hopeful. All along I have felt like we will end up doing another egg collection cycle, and that none of these embryos will be any good. Of course, I still hope I'm wrong.

I'm not a poas addict... I might buy another test a day or two before the BT, but it's too early now. Still getting bouts of mild nausea... Not enough to be turned off food, or to need to nibble on something, just enough to notice . Really tired though. Feel like I'm on 3 hours sleep a night rather than 6-7 hours (early starts since DS is waking at 5am to go for a wee- we started TT 2 weeks ago.)
I hope it's a good sign!

I always poas a day or two before bt. It means I can process the results on my own terms at my own time. Always find that results phone call from the nurses difficult.

Evening ladies. Hope everyone is doing well. Just a quick one, what does the CD# mean. Is it the number of days on clomide? See it associated on most posts.
Started my next round last sunday as it was first day off the pill. Doing a STIM cycle, so starting with Gonal-f inj tomorrow night, with Luveris inj as well. Have an acupuncture appt tomorrow night before jabs too. Soooo many drugs (steroids too) and herbal things going into my body this time round. Hopefully they don't affect ea other in a bad way. 1st BT on mon. This part doesn't seem to be the issue for me. It's getting a 5 day old embryo and then for it to stick and grow :-(
Anyway, it's a new year so FX that it's a productive and happier year ahead for many.
Cd is cycle day, hopeful mum. Good luck with the stim cycle!
Yep, this. It's the cycle day, starting with the first day of your period being day 1 (CD1). It just gets a bit confusing when different FS have different cut offs for what they consider day 1 - eg, I've seen 3 different FS over the years and FS#1 considered it CD1 if AF started before 4pm (the time his office closed), FS#2 required AF to start before 10am and FS#3 only counted it as CD1 if you woke up with AF... If you know what day you're up to, I can update your entry in the list. :) Good luck!:

Well from that I'm going to count cd1 as of the night of the 27Jan. I think that's what the ivf nurse also said when I called letting them know.
So that would make today cd3 Juniper76. Yay.
So Pholi, your cd25 8dp5dt would be cycle day 25, 8 days post 5 day transfer (being a 5 day old embryo) ?
How are you feeling today? Still sickie and positive about this cycle??

Afm had blood test and ultrasound yesterday. All tracking ok but transfer has been pushed back from sat 7th to mon 9th.
Have days of calm and days full of anxiety.

So... I was still feeling very lethargic, and ever so slightly nauseous, but also my eczema has been bad, which is weird, because it had been really good since I started Failsafe eating 9 months ago, and I've been eating strictly, but it's still been bad. And insomnia... I lay awake the other night trying to get my head around what dietary mistakes I'm making to cause me to be feeling so bad, and the only conclusion I could come to is that my sensitivity to food has suddenly changed... So I must be pregnant.
Anyway, I peed on a stick and got a BFP!!
BT is on Tuesday, but it was a definite line. :)
