My AF has been very weird lately too. Last cycle was a random 22 days. My cycles haven't been regular since about 2011 (they used to be!) but they've usually been between 28 and 40. That was the first time I've had a short one! And most my AFs have been more days spotting than bleeding, af just gone was only 2 days light-barely medium bleeding and like 4 days spotting. So confusing.:

So AF finally arrived this afternoon. Hooray. I didn't think my body was ever going to sort itself out. So that means I'll be CD 1 tomorrow and can get this fet cycle going.
How is everyone else?
Hi jane:-) fantastic news that af arrived and you are counting down to a fet cycle :D Please don't beat yourself up about how your feeling re your pregnant friend and not talking with her. It's smart for your survival during this time :-)
I'm going ok. Returned to work today and found my lower wound from laparoscopy was oozing onto my skirt. Yuk. Only clear liquid so decided to leave work and head home. Hopefully it closes up. I don't know if I should be using a bandaid with it or see a dr to get it looked at. Isn't red or bleeding.
Started af on sat late arvo, so guessing that i am cd 2. Well I'm guessing that's what is happening now that there is no bub :'(
Having my moments of grief. When the ivf clinic called today to see how i was, after gs had told them that I had surgery, I was bawling on the phone. Not good when I'm at work with others walking nearby. He's also mentioned pgd testing so they are sending info my way. Unsure when I will be right to start another full cycle as I have to wait until 01 apr for fs appt :-(
Has anyone done pdg testing with positive results? As I'm 43, and having trouble with getting pregnant after 4 cycles and 1 failed prrgnancy, fs thinks it's something to look at. I'm worried that I won't have any good eggs after testing. I can't afford to buy eggs and partner isn't wanting to go donor eggs. I would, as bubs would still be mine just without my dna (still combination of my blood group).

Hopeful mum. When I had my lap in 2011 I had it covered for a few days, possibly even a week. The dr said it didn't need to be covered that long but it made me feel better about the healing and any weeping. If your wound isnt red or angry looking then its probably fine. Our FS said only 1 cycle off after a lap is needed. And in terms of pgd, I haven't done it but know a few ladies that have. I guess its just one more bit of technology they can use to find the best possible embryo to give you the best possible outcome. But all that aside just want to send you a big hug. It sucks and it isnt fair. Cry. Scream. Do whatever you need. It is a huge loss which I can only imagine is made harder by all that we invest through the ivf process. Take care hun.

I hope you are all well?! Im ok just plodding along and waiting for AF again just after easter so we can do our FET.
I caught up with a girlfriend of mine for breakfast this morning who is in the middle of her second sim cycle - I have told her to come and join us so she has some support :)
I saw a psychic this afternoon - WOW! She blew me away with things she knew. Things there is no way she could have guessed. Details about my pops death (I was with him when he dies) details about memories from when I was a little girl etc. She also said we will definitely have another baby, it will be a little girl. She said she could see a little girl with shoulder length curly hair that was about 2 years old playing with a little boy who is 5. If this cycle works then they will be exactly 3 years apart so the ages would be correct - Insane! She also had details about where my business is heading etc. She asked if we were about to sell a house (it's going on the market in June) and said I have a feeling you will move to xyz and named the suburb hubby and I have been discussing - so crazy!

Please put me back on the list, as waiting for something to happen. I'm still having weekly BTs monitoring prog and hcg levels after my mc. I have an appointment in a few weeks with my FS to discuss the next stage.

How is everyone? Anyone got some nice plans brewing for Easter?
I have a BT and US on Thursday. Hopefully ill be getting ready for a transfer sone time the following week (after easter). Fingers crossed.

No fun Easter plans. We have about 6 months of receipts to enter into our budget spreadsheet, though. :(
Does anyone know how long you'd expect to wait after a D&C for the next AF? I hate not knowing if I'm suddenly going to start bleeding. I get paranoid!

I've only had one before Pholi, but it was about 5 years ago, I don't quite remember how long it took, I think a week for me.

Pholi from memory it was about a fortnight. I have taken to wearing a liner when im nervous about af arriving at a bad time. And your date with receipts sounds full on. Hoping you are pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
Good luck tubbypuff with the painting. We did pir house about 5 yrs ago. Lots of poorly painted bits that we always said we would go back and do. Sadly we haven't. Got to get it right the first time I think. Choosing colours can be fun though.
Haha thanks Jane, the previous owners did a terrible job painting this place and their choices in colours were very dark (on one one rooms case, too bright!) but we've done the main living areas so far :P laundry and 4 bedrooms to go lol

Think I have the flu. Not a good sign for this cycle. :( Am on lots of herbal remedies in the hope to kick it before transfer.

Hi pholi. Sorry to see Jane and yourself back here, with me :-( fx that our next round of ivf/?works.
Saw the fs today and have worked out that I'll be able to do a fet (frozen embryo transfer) later this month. I only have 1 little embryo frozen, FX that it survives the defrost! ! I start the progenova tomorrow, 3 x daily and have a scan on 14 Apr to make sure that my lining is thick enough for the transfer on the 23rd. I would have been 12 weeks on the 21apr, so really praying that everything works out. I missed out on the full drug cycle and didn't want to chance starting it and not getting any eggs that are worthwhile.
Holding out for next full cycle, june, should still give me the chance to build up healthier eggs. I also turn 44 in June,so I'm worried that my ivf journey will be stopped by the ivf clinic because of age :-( Nothing has been said yet, but I've noticed that some clinics have age restrictions. I'm with monash ivf in Townsville.

Hopeful mumma - I've got everything crossed for you, we are doing an get this month as well so we will be cycle buddies. This I'd also our last embryo which is from out very first cycle frozen 6 years ago.
Here's a useless creepy fact - when I fell pregnant with my son I found out I was pregnant on mother's day. This cycle if my period come on time it will be exactly the same again and they will be due a day apart, freaky!
We went to the clinic yesterday and paid for the cycle and collected the meds. Just waiting on AF which is due about Tuesday so once that starts its all systems go! Xx

Afm had blood test and ultrasound today. All ok. Next bt sat 11th and then transfer (fet) mon 13th. Just learned my fs will be away on leave at that time but thats ok, his locum actually sat in on our egg collection cycle years ago as part of his training so it kinda feels like he is already part of our journey. Nurses also confirmed a flu or cold not going to be a problem unless accompanied by a high fever. Thankfully it isn't.

Hi ladies. I have been having issues with my phone, which I usually use to access internet. On the laptop tonight :-)
So fs has agreed that I can do a get cycle, so he's started me on prognova on Thursday, 3 times a day. I am also still on the steroid tablets. Have a scan to check lining thickness on 14 Apr, with the hope of a frozen embryo transfer on 23apr. That's if it defrosts OK.
If not, then it's going to be a full cycle in June :-(
I've started acupuncture again too. So praying that my little frozen bub is my successful pregnancy. It's the only one frozen from 5 full cycles.

Hi girls,
AF has just arrived so it's time to jump back on the roller coaster. They are classing me as day1 from tomorrow. This is the shortest cycle I have had since I was 11 years old! I have ALWAYS had a 32 day cycle. I got my period back 3 weeks after having my son and it was straight back to a 32 day cycle.

Hopeful mum I'm doing an FET. The funny thing is this embryo is from a transfer we did when we were 21 so its been frozen for 6 years. If it works then this baby will technically be older than our son hahaha.
