AFM - LH surge this morning, so Monday is an US with prob FET on Thursday - am guessing the beginning of pessaries in there too at some stage.

GL to all with jabbing, sniffing, waiting, ovulating etc etc. Sending out loads of babydust and stickyvibes. Hoping Mothers Day is not too hard for everyone and enjoy spending time with your families, mothers and grandmothers etc.
AFM ~ BFN of HPT couple of days ago then 6 hrs later there was a faint line. I reckon they might be from my last pg though or something because Im pretty sure AF knocking at the door. Ive had lots of mucous last couple of days, slight headaches, slight sore nipples and today have sharp jabs in lower tummy. I reckon its going to be a doozy AF but I just want it to come and be over already.
Will be enjoying my holiday in Tas and not thinking about TTC, which will be a lovely break.

Afm, I've gotten no work done because we came home yesterday afternoon to find we'd been burgled. I'm a complete wreck right now and work is just not going to happen... Since EPU will be next week I went to acupuncture and she wants me to go back the day before EPU.
Of course, the receptionist at acupuncture and I share the same birthday, so she's showing off her new necklace and asking what I got... "I got a visit from a lovely scene of crime policeman at 6.45am this morning after getting almost no sleep all night. And I got a new window to replace the one they entered through..." :shakehead:

AFM currently in the TWW, one week down, one week to go. Being on Steroids is really starting to get to me. I have put on so much weight and feeling like a big fat pig. And not to mention the hair growth, NOT Happy Jan !
Getting the usual cramps, sore boobs etc. Same old Same Old.

Juniper - What a crappy, crappy start to your birthday.. I hope you managed to find some joy on your Birthday. Here's hoping on our next b'day we will have all this TTC stuff behind us. I hope they did not get away with too much that is precious to you, but the sense of violation must be very stressful. Big hugs to you hun, I hope that the rest of the lead-up to your EPU runs more smoothly.

AFM - Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement. I am hoping that the next 2 months go quickly. In the meantime, I am going to book in as many interesting activities as I can to keep me pre-occupied - it's gonna cost a fortune.Juniper & I share the same b'day. I was thoroughly spoilt by DH so that somewhat quietened the biological clock ticking loudly in the back of my mind. Hoping this is going to be my year!

Trueblue- good luck with your procedure, hope all goes well. Weird isn't when you look forward to injections. I was like that with my OI injections cos I felt like something was happening.
Tantee, I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday.
JustOneMore, hopefully it all ends up being worth it. I'll be taking steroids for the first time this cycle and it scares me that I'll have the same problems. I'm already overweight, so I can't afford to gain more.
Afm, this morning's scan showed 2x24mm on the right and a few around 14-16mm on the left. I trigger tonight and EPU is Wednesday. My manager has just suggested I take all of this week off and just focus on the IVF. He was even talking about sending me home now. I had a heap of work I was supposed to get done on the weekend and he was suggesting he'd give all of it out to others so I could take the week off. But I'm going to get as much done as I can today and see what's left after that...
Oh, and would you believe the phlebotomist couldn't get any blood out of my vein this morning! She seemed very puzzled and kept saying "it's a good vein, but where's the blood?". She managed to get a little on the second attempt and had to ask the lab if it would be enough before they would let me go. Of course, with all the stuffing around I ended up getting a bit queasy (I've never been good with blood tests) and had two of them looking after me before we were done... Lol, they were so lovely while telling me I was misbehaving. ;)
Juniper76 - I am overweight too. This is my second FET cycle on steroids. Half way through this cycle I decided that I am not going to weigh myself anymore. It just stresses me out to much.
What Steroid dosage has your doctor put you on ???

Hi to everyone else I've missed I too am struggling with the new format
AFM I finally surged this morning and am booked in for an FET this Thursday had acupunture on the weekend and am booked in for some more on Wednesday then again on Thursday. Just booked a facial for Friday and apart from that plan to just sit on the couch for the rest on the weekend and let my body do the right thing. Now I'm just praying that my little frostie thaws well.

Juniper - how sucky that you got broken into, and on your birthday no less. (Happy B-day to you, by the way.) Your follies sound great - esp. the 2 nice big ones. Good luck for your trigger tonight and EPU on Wednesday. By the way, I sympathize with you about the needle thing. I am constantly told that I have "bad veins", and have had similar instances where I ended up practically fainting from all of the attempts to get blood. In fact, at my EPU 2 weeks ago the anesthetist was having a problem getting the line in until I pointed out the one place that I know it usually works. Luckily, it went in OK once I showed him where to put it and everything was fine. It certainly doesn't help when you're dehydrated, does it? Best thing I can recommend for you is to drink as much water as possible before your BTs so there's maximum blood volume. At least that's what the nurses have told me on previous occasions . . .

[PLEASE IGNORE THE REST OF MY MESSAGE IF YOU'VE ALREADY READ THE TWW THREAD, B/C I'VE JUST CUT-AND-PASTED THE SAME MESSAGE INTO HERE SINCE I'M FEELING LAZY THIS MORNING!] AFM, 3 more days to my BT. It is hard to wait, but on the other hand I almost don't want the day to arrive b/c I know that I'll likely have a BFN and want to live the dream a little longer before it gets crushed. For the same reason, I haven't gotten up the nerve to POAS yet. I've had some symptoms -- nausea, cramping like AF for the past few days (but no AF has arrived), headaches -- that could potentially be pregnancy symptoms . . . but they are also listed as side effects of the Crinone, so I know that I can't count on them. Also, I usually have a 26 day cycle, and today is CD27, with no sign of AF. But I don't want to get my hopes up since I have no idea if the IVF has changed my cycle somehow. Have any of you found your cycles to lengthen while you were on Crinone or any of the other drugs? I don't want to take anything for granted since I realize all the drugs can play such havoc with our systems.

JustOneMore, I don't know the dosage yet.
KitKat, the crinone can lengthen your LP. Some women don't get AF until they stop taking it, others get AF regardless. I've had both scenarios happen.

AFM, I go in tomorrow for my FET, and am getting very excited. Went for acupuncture yesterday, and it was so relaxing. My tummy has been a bit dodgy this weekend – not sure if it’s the crinone or nerves... Anyone else get that?
hi ladies.just a quick post before heading to get groceries.just saw gynae this morning for results from my lap.everything looked fine which they were happy with but said that they had no idea why my cycle is so long.they have referred me to their natural fertility service and i have an appointment with them this thursday already :D will explain more later but for now they work on an american program with a lot of monitoring and progesterone control and are apparently having really good results.also they are having some sort of trial towards the end of the year. so if there is any brisbane ladies interested in seeing them to i have their contact details

Kitkat well done not POAS if I got that close I bet I couldn't resist although I would hope I could. I'd have to give DH the tests so I wouldn't be tempted.
Trubabe glad to hear your results were good but shame they can't give you mroe insite.
Just waiting for AF to arrive. Have an appointment 24th May about Westmead fertility centre. Not sure if we are going through there or IVF Australia as yet. But hopefully the end of the month everything will be clearer.
Juniper - terrible news about the break - in. I've developed a problem with a vein in my right arm because I've had so many blood tests over the last 6 months. The pathology lady said I have scar tissue. I think I'm going to have to get them to rotate around veins because my blood tests will be continuing for quite awhile.
Terry - GL with your transfer. With all the acupuncture and facial your body should be in tip top shape.
Babytruj - GL with your FET. How lucky you don't have to work out the work situation. I'm not sure what and if I"m going to say anything.
Mildez - GL with your appointment.
Truebabe - the program sounds interesting, you will have to keep us posted.
