There is one hatching blastocyst on board the mothership. 1 more hatching blastocyst to be frozen along with an extended blastocyst. They described the embie we had put in as "beautiful" and "perfect" I think. FS had a bit of trouble getting past the cervix, but once that was sorted it was easy enough.
The other 5 embies aren't going to be frozen - 1 or 2 stayed at 4 cell, one was at 8 cell I think, and they were a bit iffy about the development of 1 or 2 of the others. I was a bit worried this wasn't a good strike rate but the scientist said it was normal and expected.
Feeling a lot more relaxed now. I was pretty uptight this morning for some reason (not helped by the cat throwing up everywhere during the night for the 2nd night from 3) but now it's all done I feel like a bit of weight has been lifted. If this embie doesn't take hold, they said there is about a 97% thaw success rate with blastocysts of the stage that the other 2 are at, so we'd hopefully have a couple more opportunities before having to do another stim cycle. FS said there is about a 40%-50% chance of pregnancy from this point.
Rols - The tonic I'm on with Antonia cost me $390 plus $80 for the 1L bottle of vodka to mix it with!!!!
So, it did cost $470 but that lasts for 4 cycles!!!!!!!
Am really happy with the results though - everyone swears by her tonics, but its good to see in results like the red cell blood test exactly how good they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scientist called earlier and 12 out of the 17eggs fertilized. So transfer is at 10:15 tomorrow. Still very sore tho but hoping all goes well.

I'm doing pretty good, thanks Rols. Will still be a fair while before I get started again - still have an ultrasound scan for me and a DNA fragmentation test for DH before we go back to see the other FS. After that I should (I hope!) have worked through enough stuff with my psychologist to be pretty much ready to go see our FS to get a new cycle started. Arthritis is giving me a bit of grief at the moment, so a bit relieved to be on a break right now.:

Howdy to anyone i missed hope you are all well! :)
Well not much here still waiting for AF... (ironic i know) she is due any second and my BB's are killing me and my stomach is tender so i know she is comong i just wish she's show!! Anyone thats it with me on babymaking.. though back at acupuncture and hitting the herbs hard...apart from that going away for the weekend... and tonight going to a work function with my husband ex company that he finishes up with next wed... awkward!

Is there anyone on Synarel at the mo. I think up until now I have been OK! Although yesterday and today have been feeling a bit down. HAve been pretty positive up until now, but since yesterday have been feeling a bit low / fearful. What if it doesnt work? What if I dont have any eggs when they collect. How will I react if it doesnt work. I don't know? I hope its just the drugs and probably cause my AF is due, my mood probably feels amplified. It should be here any day. Bit anxious as start injections next week and then will really feel real! Anyway sorry for the dump ... hope everyone is doing well.

Em - my MSN not working for some reason so sorry if you sent messages and I have not replied..congrats on the 12, that's fantastic. Will be thinking of you tommorw hun. Everytime I get really sore I just drink lots of water..the loo trips are killing me though...especially today as we had to drive the nine hours to Byron Bay and stop at every petrol station and maccas along the way!:wall:
Mel - I was fine with the syneral until I had it in conjunction with the Pregnyl. I could not stop crying. I thought at first it was the pregnyl on its own but when I had pregnyl after the transfer I was fine so I think it was the combo (lots pof people only have pregnyl as a trigger shot..I was so lucky I got to have it for three days before my trigger and then again after transfer :doh:
Shannon - I really want AF to stay away from me so hope she heads straight for you! Funny never around at the right time and always at the wrong!

LOL know what you mean about the water! I have been drinking at least 2.5 -3 ltrs a day. And the trips to loo are OK when at work/home, but not when you are out and about.
I hope once I start injections too it doesnt stuff me up! Still waiting for AF to arrive. Dont know if it will stuff things up with my cycle if it comes late? Nurse just told me to keep a note. Its day 29 and I usually get them on day 28-30, so shouldnt stress!
Anyway hope all is well with everyone! What crap weather ... a day for going shopping or the movies!

hope nobody thinks im rude coz im only popping in now and then but life is sooo hectic at the mo. FINALLY had our house evaluated yesterday. we have totally transformed our home and even if we dont get to shift i am totally in love with the way our home looks right now. all fresh and clean and new plumbing, taps, paint, lawn and all the little things we have been 'meaning' to do are now done

Mon - the Synarel made me a bit depressed too. what injections are you going to take. i had puregon and after the first injection all anxiety went away. i think the thought of it is actually worse than the injections themselves. best wishes for your cycle....

ME STILL - AF finally arrived yesterday. 5 days late.... so she is here with a vengeance and playing havoc with my scoliosis. but her being late gave me extra time to paint and do heavy work around the house. my next stage is to go for bloods on day 12 (sept 4) then bloods tracking until my levels reach 600 and then in for an ultrasound. i didnt ovulate last month so they are keeping a closer eye on things this time around.... so fingers crossed i make it to transfer this time.....
so scared im just not gonna fall pregnant ever again. im craving so much it hurts.. i love my two boys and know how much i am blessed, but i cant help getting depressed at how hard IVF can be sometimes...
i shouldnt waffle i am very lucky in life with a wonderful husband who does everything he can to make me happy, and everyone on BB makes me feel good when no one else can... oh gawd, can you tell its that time of month.maybe i should change my mood to "OFF WITH THE FAIRIES"

Mon, I'm on Synarel at the moment. When I started I was getting bad headaches and migraines, was a little moody, and emotional too. I think all the 'what if' feelings are pretty normal for assisted conception, I have the same thoughts and we have another 5 weeks or so to go before we start our first cycle. Hope the side effects ease off for you soon.
sonya - Ooh Justin Timberlake! That would be awesome to go to. you will have to give us lots of details. I remember when we went to Nickelback last eyar, my mum was sooo jealous, especially when I told her they put Chad Kroegers cute little backside on the big screen.
