Hi Mon- its just short of 3weeks. I'm using the gel twice a day and that goes for 15days. They also told me that the cream stuff stops you from bleeding. So after stopping the cream they like to wait 4 to 6 days to test. I told the nurse I'm still pretty sore(feels like a big stitch in my tum). She said imagine having 17 bits of flesh sucked off your arm, thats why your so sore. And the more you have the sorer it is. Yesterday after transfer i had these real sharp pain that came and went a few time,do know what thats from. I have to wait till tuesdays so they can grow them to blasty stage to find out if any of the ten left can be frozen.
Take care all
-
Hi MO5, Ouch feeling your pain! I'm just having a bad AF pain, so imagine it would be pretty different anyway! Hope u feel betta! Cant wait to hear about how many blasties you have on Tues! What a great result though so far!
Take care
Mon :)

Hi Guys
Just a quick one.. MO5 & Rols - Hope the TWW is going and it just flies by!
Chez have fun with the BD'ing and assignments thats one very interesting form of procrastination.... i usually clean the house but yours sounds like more fun! :)
Just had to pop in and say yay! Af has arrived so we start the synarel tomorrow and get this cycle underway!! Yippeeee.
-
Its a little quiet in here!
Haven't been in over the weekend as we had lots of stuff happening... and Luke came down with gastro... omg he has just copped everything this winter... starting to get me paranoid about being a good mother!!!
Chez - $80 was for the 2 bottles of vodka (one each for DH & I!!!) I'm a dumb dumb! As soon as I saw your post I realised:redface:
MO5 & Rols - How are things in the 2ww??
Shannon - Yay on af (god its weird saying that!) - So glad you're getting started!!!
Hi to everyone else and best wishes for wherever you're at!!!
Me - CD 26 - Getting close now!
Have absolutely no symptoms at all this cycle (am kind of hoping thats a good sign, as all of my other cycles I've had symptoms and that hasn't meant anything!!!)
We will know by Wed though - my body is like clockwork!!
Will pop back in later!
-
Hi Holly,
TWW dragging along like death. DW will be in Sydney next week around testing time so we have decided that instead of waiting until the Friday when she gets back to test (test supposed to be Tuesday), she will have it done while she's there at the nearest clinic.
She's arguably had 2-3 early pregnancy symptoms, but they could be from the crinone or just because. So I'm not getting ahead of myself about that, that's for sure.
-
Hi Guys
I agree Holly for once it is actually a little quiet in here!
Rols- Sorry the TWW is dragging, hopefully the rest will go a little quicker maybe book some things and have a busy social life to keep you busy... easier said that done when your tired i know!
Holly - Honey i so hope this cycle works... i have had my fingers crossed that Antonia brings you your well deserved BFP! When do you go and see her again?
Well i started Synarel today forgot how much i hated it.... the dizzyness and hot flushes yum! Rang my FS this morning and a slight change in plans i start Pregnyl on Sunday and then am booked for scans on the 6th & 12th. One with my FS and then the other one with another FS (who happens to be my SIL Ob) because our FS is away for a week... so yay starting to get excited.
-
wow it is quiet...must be monday-itis....
start bt next tuesday. both my wisdom teeth have flared up and giving me grief, as well as really bad AF cramps. my BF came round with her two week old daughter and I AM SO SO CLUCKY. i am so scared the iVF will never work or my embies wont survive thawing.
just have to keep thinking positive.
good luck everybody wherever or whatever stage you are at...
-
I'm back....seeing FS on Thursday...goodluck everyone xxx
-
Ellie - i'm so sorry hun - i just read your signature
Life is so damn unfair sometimes
-
I hate Monday's! But a good way to end the working day ... so 'hi' to all!
Shannon ... how exciting that you start! Know what you mean with the Synarel. My AF symptoms seem amplified x 10. Cant wait when they finish and will bid them good ridance for 9 mths!! he he!
Chez I am sure you had a better wknd than me with lots of BD'ing (I wish bl**dy AF - pardon the pun).
Holly hope AF stays away and you get that BFP!
Rols good luck to you and DW on the 2WW! Can imagine how hard it would be!!! Fingers crossed! And sending lots of sticky vibes!
Anyway keep positive every1 and BFP's allround!!!
Mon :)
-
ellie ... just saw your post!! No way!!! I am so sorry! :(
-
Oh Ellie! I am so very sorry to hear this today. Absolutely breaks my heart.
 Hope your FS has answers and suggestions as to where to from here.
BW
-
Ellie, it must feel like every time this happens that you will never see the light at the end of the tunnel. But, I hope that with the circumstances of each loss, your FS is able to piece together all the little tidbits of information so that they can formulate some way that this problem is solved.
I can't remember whose signature I saw this comment on, but whoever it was basically thanked their previous 'angel babies' for giving them the answers to eventually carry the full term. This may well be the most useless thing you've ever heard, but for me it kind of stuck in my head and showed me a totally different way of looking at a ****ty set of circumstances. Best wishes to you and Mr Ellie.
-

Ellie - Just wanted to send huge hugs your way.. im at a loss at what to say but my thoughts and prayers are with your and your DH,
And yes Rols you rock... and look i have heard of situations where people make up fake personas etc and then post on forums... are you a woman? :p Whatever is in the water your drinking send some up north for my DH! You just seem to know the right thing to say.. its a lovely life skill.
-
Hi Ellie,
I was in total shock to hear the bad news when we had our little chat on MSN and can't put my thoughts and words straight...and I hope I didn't sound insensitive...words can't describe how heartbroken I am for you... I am so sorry hun!
I think Rols put it perfectly, everytime this happends, hopefully it will help you and FS to figure out what's the reason behind it and it will be one step closer to your dream being fulfiled.
Being diagnosed with 'unexplained infertility', I think I am quite obessed with 'asking why' to every details...to the point that I was kind of relived to find out that our last m/c was cause by abnormal chromsome...at least that gives me closure...
It is a hard road regardless I know, but we are all here for you Ellie if you need to be sad, angry and vent...but most of all, I hope you will find the answers for you past m/c and prevent it from happening again...
Let us know how you go with FS appointment on Thursday...
Thinking of you...
-
Oh Ellie, I'm so very sorry..
Nic
-
Thanks for your kind words peeps, but I really only borrowed my thoughts from that member's signature. Buggered if I can remember whose it was either.
Shannon, I'm really not a woman pretending to be a bloke! There is a photo of me and DW in the gallery somewhere if that helps allay your fears!
-
Hi all just wanted to let you all know we have 4 Blasties. Feeling so much better today
-
Good Morning
MO5 - Congrats they are great numbers!
Rols - Ooops i am really sorry if i offended you i was only joking but i guess its hard to convey the sarcasm over a chat forum. I have no doubt of your honesty and im really sorry if i offended.. i was actually trying to compliment.
Have a great day guys!
-
Nah, it's cool Shannon, I figured you were having a laugh!
Well done Mo5 - that's excellent.
-
Ellie, sweetheart I am so so sorry :hugs:
This absolutely crushed me to get on and read this, I just can't tell you how sorry I am xxx
When are you seeing your FS again, I hope you get some answers soon xxx
Take care of yourself & DH xxx
MO5 - 4 blasties is a fantastic result - Well Done!!!!!
Rols - I can't offer you any advice to make it go any quicker - I have always said that this part is by far the worst part of the IVF cycle xxx
Shannon - Good luck with the synarel - its amazing how it just comes straight back to you!!! Its horrible, and just doesn't get any better!
Sonya - I'm with you & being clucky... and this week it seems like there have been babies everywhere!
To everyone, else, I hope you are all doing wonderfully - We need some good news in here!
Me - 2ww should be officially over tomorrow if my body does its norm... CD 27 today.
Am feeling bloated like AF is almost on my doorstep, but am holding out hope in the possibility that she's passed me by!!!
Hope everyone is great xxx
-
hello all
ellie hun- i am really sorry sending big hugs your way
Mum of 5
WEll done ....wishing you the best
Rols- praying hun
Well me
I am still waiting for af i thought it was meant to arrive last fri unless i ovulated late but i didnt hink i did due to body signs and i know im not pregnant as i had internal ultra sound done last week for the ivf and nothing was in the uterus but he did say it looked like i was due to ovulate when i was due for af
So i am very confused as i thought i ovulated due to swollen amd sore breasts, bloating etc and these are everything i get after i ovulate and i have had af cramps for the last 5 days but no af even had coloured cm ( sorry TMI) sat night so thought it was coming but no
AHHH im so frustrated as i want to start the ivf cycle, anwyay will keep waiting, i have my nurse app on thurs
Good luck all xoxo
-
so sorry Ellie - its just so unfair! take care of yourselves....
-
Oh Ellie
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. There just aren't enough words to tell you how sad I am for you and your DH. And I really thought this was your time too. I think what you said to me last week was right... our little ones are standing together at the end of the queue... that queue just needs to get moving towards us! Take care of yourself hun... we are all thinking of you. :grouphug:
Cherylxxx
-
Thanks everyone...just wanted to let you know we are doing ok...I've moved into 'problem solving mode' and determined to get some answers now. Enough is Enough! Looking forward to some BFP's in here...we are SOOOOOO overdue xxx
-
Hi everyone i have a question.... I have like AF feeling pains??? Does anyone know what it means?? I also keep getting the feeling that I'm gunna wet myself AND i'M SO OVER IT. Does anyone have any ideas???
-
No I can't give you any specific advice on that Mo5, but if you have the feeling that your bladder is constantly full and you have abdo pain, it sounds lke you have some localised irritation or swelling placing pressure on various things including your bladder. If you are on Crinone that has a range of side effects. See how you are going tomorrow and go from there.
-
MO5 - Can't remember if you're on crinone yet, but if you are, thats a side effect :(
It will probably get a little more prominent as you continue on it, but at least you know its not AF at this stage!
Me - The witch has arrived
She showed about an hour ago - Got to love the consisency I guess!
Am feeling a little bloated & fat, but am thinking I will have a glass of wine (because I can for now ;)) and snuggle up to DH on the couch ready for The Sopranos...
Sparkles - Hope she shows up for you soon so you can get started - I'll send her on over to your house, because although shes only been here about an hour, I never care for her visits, much ;)
Hi to everyone else!
xxx
-
Oh wonderful the things we have to look forward to,Thanks Rols and Holl. Its such a dream being a chick . When do the embryos normally implant or is it just when ever?
-
Thanks Holly and sorry to hear af showed for you xxo
I hope its implantation mum of 5, i just looked at your photos very cute
Rols- how is DW ?
Me-s till no af...anyway hopefully soon
have a good day all xo
-
Sparkles, DW is exhausted by about 7pm lately, and was in an absolute stinker of a mood yesterday which is so unlike her. Was pretty funny. The frustrating thing is, she has a heap of early preg. symptoms, but just about every single fricken one of those can also be explained as a crinone side effect (stomach upset but not cramping, mild dizziness, thicker CM, mild bloating). Mind you, most of these have started post transfer and she was on Crinone pre-transfer. She's also been occasionally put off certain foods she'd usually eat (but still eats them) and yesterday had a recurrent sensation in her lower uterine area which she said she's never felt before (ie. diff. to AF).
-
implantaion on a Day2 embryo cycle is round day 5-7 after pick up.
Rols, I know everything could possibly be explained but the crinone, but then again, it might not be the crinone at all. Sounds like the TWW is as bad for you as it is for her. I love that we now have a man's perspective here.
-
Thanks Sushee, it's great to be here. Really, this site has made IVF about 10 times easier, not just for the information but for all the shared support.
Certainly most things can/could be explained by the crinone if I am to play devil's advocate (which is what I do) but the exhaustion and unusual uterine sensation aren't listed side effects so it is certainly giving me cause for hope. I was just talking to DW on the phone and I said if she's not preg. this cycle with all of these indicators, then next cycle I will steadfastly ignore any signs of anything until the BT.
Sorry, this post is probably more appropriate in the TWW thread. I'll try and restrict such ramblings to there in future ;)
-
Rols, the TWW was actually started as a spill over from this thread, and not as a replacement, so your thoughts are welcomed here.
I'm going to try to catch up with where everyone's at. I know I've been MIA lately but as usual, you all are quite capable of looking after yourselves, each other and this thread, without me :). But until I move house at the end of Oct, I'm hoping to be around more to share your journeys with you.
-
Good Morning Guys
Sushee - Great to see you popping in!
Holly - Sorry about AF hun, but can't wait to hear what Antonia has planned for you next!
Sparkles- Sorry about AF not playing to your rules! Hope she rears her ugly head soon!
Rols - I have my fingers crossed your DW is preggas! And remember that whilst the TWW thread is full of people currently in the TWW.. there are a lot of people who have been through the TWW in this thread that may be able to help with advice etc.. even though they are not currently experiencing it. IYKWIM? We are all learning so much and every bit of info helps!
MO5 - How are you holding up?
Me just tired and cranky from the synarel...can't wait to start injections on Sun!
Hope everyone has a great day...
Shan
-
Hi everyone.
Ellie, im really glad that you have moved on to problem solving now, and havent decided to totally give up. I remember when we both said, you just have to keep going and going until you know that you cant do it anymore. And inside, you know when you are ready and want to keep going. I think you will make a great mum and i hope you have that opportunity. Im not sure, with your other m/c's did you get any feedback as to why and what's happening with your body? Its really positive that you can get pregnant, but there has to be some answers as to why they dont stick. I think i read that your FS appt is on Thurs??? I really hope you get some answers, or at least a plan. I am thinking of you and DH, i hope that you are spending some special time with each other right now :hugs:
Mumof5- how are things going?? I have been having pains in my tummy but its sort of hard to know whether its just the Crinone or not. Im not sure exactly when implantation occurs, but i think somewhere up to 6-7 days post transfer.
Holly- im sorry AF arrived, but i do hope you enjoy your wine!
Sparkles- isnt it just like AF to arrive late when you REALLY want it to come sooner. i hope it arrives soon so you can start your IVF.
Shannon- yay injections soon!! That's great! I found i was way less cranky and moody when i skipped on to the injections too!!
Rols- that's funny bout DW being in a stinker of a mood!! Do you think she is just tired and also worried about next week and how things will go?? I hope she gets some rest and good sleeps!!
Me- well, i dont know. I have been reading about how long it takes for the trigger shot to get out of your system... but everywhere i read it talks about the doses being in units but my Ovidrel was a dose of 250 micrograms, so hmmm.... Im tired, a bit moody (which isnt totally unlike me with working strange hours this past week!), crampy- which is prob just crinone. BB are bigger but not really sore. Any idea when trigger should be out of system guys??? Was 14 days ago now. And well, i did something sorta bad and did a HPT and not sure what to think. Im scared because of everything that has happened in the 2ww, especially with Ellie. I dont even think that if i was preg, that i could really accept it until after the first u/s after what happened last time. I dont know what to think im going crazzzzzzy!!
Shelly- hope your hol went well- or still is going well if you are still on, how are things going??
Hi to everyone else, Mel
-
Oh Mel...don't let me spoil your fun! I've only had pregnyl boosters and I tested 14 dpo and got my first +++ not sure...maybe do another test...or two hehehe! So about 5 days to BT right? Mmmm...looking good if you're saying what I think your saying????
-
I changed the test to Sun!! Heheee, said that DH and i were going away, well at least we are thinking about it! I have done 3. Its not like last time though, when i was so so ecstatic and jumped up and down and screamed. Im more cautious and scared. I dont know what to think. How are you feeling today?
